They stuck to their schedule and all work was completed on time. There was a project manager on site available to answer questions, make changes as new problems we discovered, etc. We could not have been happier with the results or the workmanship. These were great people with which to work. Everyone I spoke to was completely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They called when they promised to and their workers showed up on time and finished the job in an efficient manner. (They also cleaned up after themselves, too!) They were very professional. Did top of the line work and had the job done faster than we had expected. They were very nice and easy to work with. Have had a couple of things we needed rechecked and they came out right away to answer our concerns. I would defiantly recommend Spicer Brothers to anyone looking for a new roof. They gave us the best offer and went above and beyond the call to make us happy. We are very happy with our beautiful new roof.

Spicer Brothers removed the shingles of the old roof down to the plywood and applied new sheathing, trim, flashing, and shingles. The entire process from sales call and estimate, to contracting, selection of materials, and installation was professional and thorough. The roof was completed in 2 days, and the workmanship, clean up, and final appearance were all excellent. I rate the company a 10 out of 10. They also replaced gutter under a separate contract, with the same quality of service.

Spicer Bros tore off all of the shingles, repaired rotten wood, replaced all the drip rails and flashing around the chimney, put some barrier material around all of the edges, peaks and vents...new vent gaskets... and put on architectural shingles to match the house with a 50 year warranty.....whew....for less than Lowes could do it for their cheapest 3 tab shingles. I would recommend this company to ANYONE. I am so confident in the quality of the work!! Oh, they also did the work and cleaned up and were gone by lunch time. Amazing!!! I have replaced roofs and seen many others done, but this was something to watch!! Can I say it again??? Amazing!!! P.S...I am a real customer, not a plant.

Getting a new roof is expensive and not to be gone into lightly so using someone trustworthy, reliable and somewhat in the ballpark cost wise is very important. After looking around and asking around we decided on Spicer Bros for our new roof last year. They were very good, roof looks great, so far no problems, cleaned up very well after themselves, price was in the ballpark of a couple other quotes we got, they are professional and you know they will get the job done.

Two shingles, which were improperly installed by the homebuilder, fell off the roof just before the remnants of a tropical storm came through. In addition, I was aware that the rubber seals on the plumbing vent roof flashings was deteriorating and needed to be fixed or replaced.
I called Georgia at Spicer Brothers on a Thursday morning, and explained the urgency of my situation with the coming heavy rains. She worked with their projects manager to send a crew out that day. The repairmen who responded were experienced, and not only fixed the fallen shingles but also identified that surrounding shingles had been nailed improperly. They re-nailed several surrounding shingles and applied adhesive to reinforce the area as best as possible.
The crew also installed permaboots over the plumbing vent flashings to prevent leaks.
I was very happy with the service and price seemed reasonable, especially since they had to pull a crew off another job to respond to my emergency. I would definitely use them again for repairs and will look to them when it comes time to replace the roof.

We ended up seeking 4 quotes for a small job, Had lost a few shingle due to recent high winds on a 16 yr old roof. One contractor
from Berlin, refused to travel 30 mi to quote unless we guaranteed we were going to contract. Two others looked at the roof, took
measurements, but one never gave us a quote, and the other was $8000.
.One week later, Spicer Bros installed the roof. Brian Spicer, Kevin (field supervisor) and all the crew were extremely professional.
