I had already ordered the parts ahead of time. The job took less than 10 minutes.

My Kenmore washing machine was malfunctioning (every cycle-the timer would get stuck in the "pause" sequence); I had to go to machine to manually move the timer; called Landers on a Friday; appointment was made for Tuesday (could have been Monday, but I wouldn't be home); came out first thing Tuesday morning, diagnosed problem, explained everything to me, including reason for malfunction (and also advised how to avoid similar problem); made recommendations for any future purchases when necessary.

I had considerable difficulty trying to find someone who would service my built-in microwave convection oven on-site. The Sharp dealer and other appliance repair facilities required that I remove the heavy oven from the cabinet and bring the oven to their repair shop. When I called Landers Appliance, they immediately scheduled a visit compatible with my schedule and quoted a price for the trip, with conditions for parts and labor. Their technician arrived at the scheduled time, the built-in oven was removed from the kitchen cabinet, the problem was quickly diagnosed, and the repair was completed. We were very close to buying a new oven, and this repair saved us well over $500.00.

Showed up on-time and completed work satisfactorily. Were able to get an appointment within a few days (this was a non-emergency repair). Cost seemed a bit high ($95 for the service call--which we were told when making the appointment), but they did the repair correctly, the first time.

Very friendly, easy to deal with, prompt.

First, the scheduler was very flexible and tried hard to accommodate my need to go to the Doctor. Second, the technician they sent was knowledgeable and quite professional. He fixed the problem and recommended the less expensive approach.

He also found the igniter was a little weak and told me the price but did not pressure me to replace it. Appointments were available the next day (I called in the afternoon).

Called on a Friday around noon and by 1:30 they were at my house. The refrigerator needed a new circuit board for the defrost control, which he had on the truck. He gave me the total charge before he started work, which he got from a price sheet he had with him. He replaced the circuit board, defrosted the coils, and cleaned up the melt water all in about an hour. I have used this company before and will use them again.

The technician was very nice. Gave us great suggestions for cleaning the coils at the back of the fridge. They were the only company that was able to come when I needed them.

The problem with the stove involved a flare up, what they call a flashback and it was due to an extensive rust build up. Since this was a fire hazard, they recommended I purchase a new stove but they didnt try to sell me one. They did also look at a dishwasher problem I had and found a clog that they removed but they didnt tell me until after that there would be an additional $50 charge for that. I felt they were unclear about pricing.

I was annoyed with them because I had read that they had a 10% senior citizen discount and they didnt honor it. Besides, they told me that it was the same because the oven was on sale, but I did some research and the price was the same in other places, so I didnt believe them that much. However, they were punctual and they showed up on time. I havent had any trouble with the oven installation.

The guy showed up on time, saw what the problem was right away and did the repair. I feel that he was honest and only did what needed to be done to fix the problem. He was also very personable and friendly.

Good experience! Jim the technician was very knowledgeable, was able to get an appointment within a few days. They called ahead to let me know they were on the way. Overall a good experience for me.

My call was answered promptly. The parts department was helpful. The repair person arrived on time and followed through with the repair professionally and efficiently. I have used this company on multiple occasions over the years to service older appliances that came with the home I purchased. They are good about finding parts and advising about whether to repair or purchase a new appliance.

Excellent! When I called to see if they had the Amana unit I wanted they told me about their annual warehouse sale, in which I could save up to 70% of the costs. We went to the warehouse sale and saved about $500.00. We got exactly the unit we wanted. The installers came with the unit on the date promised, and did an excellent job with a difficult task; they removed our old unit and installed the new refrigerator, even though it required taking doors off the hinges, (the front door!) as well as removing parts of the new refrigerator so it would fit. They worked professionally and politely.

I was not aware that a clogged drain could cause the dish washer to clog. The service technician found it immediately.

They were very efficient, and did what they said what they would do, and I would certainly call them again. I don't think the were cheap, but you get what you pay for.

It went great! I had some questions when I first made the appointment. To my surprise, I was transferred to Dean Landers himself, who patiently answered all my questions. The installers came when promised, did a quick and professional job, and left the kitchen clean and tidy.

They replaced the most likely problem part (heating coils). They did not replace 2 other possible problem parts because they said to wait to see if continue use showed they needed replacement. They never over sell me parts or service. They have a 30 day guarantee which they honor. I have done business with them for 19 years and they have been unfailingly honest, prompt, reliable, courteous, and friendly.

They specifically said not to replace 2 other problem parts until continued use and showed whether or not the 2 other parts needed to be replaced. I have done business with them for over 18 years, and they have never tried to over sell me parts or service. They are scrupulously honest and have told to me when it would be cheaper to buy a new appliance instead of repairing the old one.

The installers arrived right on time and did their work efficiently and left no mess.

Landers was courteous, professional, and immediately responsive. After a horrible experience with Sears the day and night before, Landers was a pleasure to deal with. They will be my first call from now on.

The technician was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowlegeable about the repair. He went beyond the repair and made sure that the fridge was running at optimum condition.

Landers service was prompt (GEs earliest appointment was four days after I called and could be scheduled from 8-5; next appointment was following week at 1-5 or 8-5 and no 8-1 schedule available!) They quickly said not worth spending additional money on the old machine. Since I have a friend with the same model I asked John to show me how to open the front and he did (I wont charge her.) He also quickly cleaned up the small amount of oil left on the top of the broken machine. Maybe a small touch and I think it shows they care about my home.

They were willing to come out the next day, but we needed them to come on the following Thursday which they did. Service was excellent. The cost was 243.75 of which $74.95 was the service call charge. This price was very reasonable because Maytag wanted $285 just for the service call and had a long waiting period to come out.
