We had a small fire on our dual fuel range. We had done a kitchen remodel and had put the stove on our porch during the remodel - seems a mouse had chewed on the wires during this time so when I spilled water on the range it caused a short that had flames shoot out of the handle that regulates the flame. I called Landers afer I had shopped newer rangers and couldn't find one with all the features ours had - They had a repairman there the next morning to access the damage - he provided us a cost and time to repair estimate and said the parts would be in within a week. 3 days later I got a call that the parts had arrived and they could do the repair that day. In addition to the repair caused by the fire I had them clean our 2 oven doors making our old range work and look like new completeing our remodeled kitchen!

I have used them multiple times and am very happy with them. They are very responsive, very fast to get here, they called before they came and cleaned up after the job. It was just spotless. Very polite and very professional. He told me just what they were going to do and what it was going to cost. I couldn't of asked for anything more.

Our gas oven stopped heating, and through internet research we thought the ignitor had gone bad. My husband dismantled the bottom of the oven, but once he found the plug we realized it might be time to call a professional! We decided to try Lander's because they had good reviews and were available for service calls Saturday, albeit for a slightly higher service charge - worth it to us to not have to take off work. Technician was prompt, friendly, and professional. Repair only took about 30 minutes, and now the oven works fine. Price was a little higher than I was expecting, but cheaper than buying a new oven, and I have no complaints about the service.

Technician prompt, knowledgeable, professional, honest with estimates and options. Checked with me before proceeding - got the OK to proceed with dryer fix and was fine with not proceeding with refrigerator fix.

I called Landers about a leaking freezer after noon on a Friday. Less than two hours later, my freezer was fixed. I was really pleased that a) they were able to get there the same afternoon, which I certainly did not expect and b) that the technician not only fixed what turned out to be a simple problem but also showed me how to fix it myself in the future. While I shouldn't have to call again about a clogged freezer drain, I most certainly will call Landers again about any other appliance issues. Joe, the technician, was great.

This was actually a success story in what did not happen. Our dishwasher was not draining, and we thought that the motor was burned out. The repairman actually showed us something we had never noticed before-- that there is a "drain" feature on our panel-- once he drained it, he determined that the motor was working properly and did not need repair or replacement. Whatever the issue may have been that led to the lack of drainage, it has not reappeared (we had tried it before calling him), and we were not charged for an unnecessary repair. It cost us only the charge for the service call. Thanks for your assistance, Landers!

This company charges a flat fee for a service call which is NOT applied to the repair. The fee is $80-something dollars, which I was willing to consider, except that even with this kind of fee they were quoting me a 5 hour window for the appointment. You have got to be kidding. There are plenty of other people out there who actually want and need the work. I will call one of them. P.S. this appliance was purchased through Landers, in 2005 so definitely not under warranty, but I had the model number, the Fault code, etc. So $84.95 to come out with a 5 hour arrival window to give me an estimate???

They were really good. They were prompt, reasonable, straight forward and honest in explaining what was wrong and what would be needed to fix it. I would certainly use them again in the future.

I hired Landers Appliance Repair to install a new evaporator, motor and a fan in my refrigerator. They were efficient and they were quick. The technician that came out was polite and the work was well done. I would use them again.

They are a small company. I don’t know how much I spent on their services. It was a very positive experience with them. The gentleman that came out was very pleasant and very quick with his work. He was just very nice and he fixed it. I will definitely use their services again in the future.

They came promptly to diagnosed the problem, gave us an estimate on the spot, and ordered the needed part the same day. They came back when they said they would and fixed the problem. Fee was reasonable and Scott, the Technician, was pleasant and knowledgeable. Excellent experience!

called 8am monday, arrived after 11am, left before noon (called 15 minutes before arriving). dryer is working now, 90 warranty.

From my first contact, I was given expert and professional advice and guidance. Sales people were friendly and helpful. Chris and Shawn, who delivered and installed the appliances, had the very difficult job of getting the old appliances out and new appliances in on the second floor of a rowhouse. They were very good natured, friendly, professional and did a fantastic job with no damage to walls or woodwork. Also, my previous dryer was unvented and they found a way to vent this one to the outside. In addition to carrying top quality merchandise, Landers Appliance provides top notch service.

Called Landers because of its high Angie's List ratings. They came out quickly and took care of the problem within an hour. The cost seemed about on par with what others charge, including the up-front fee for the service call. Very professional - would certainly use them again.

Andy is a treasure! He used to work for a large handyman service but started working for himself a couple of years ago. As someone who has a bit of woodworking experience, I can say that his work is excellent and his level of integrity and work ethic are consistently above reproach. He is honest and works quickly and is thorough and precise. He has very good taste as well, so I trust him to design things that I will like without having to oversee his work too much. He has a very wide skill set and can repair or build almost anything. My next projects for him are to repair some windows and help renovate my master bath.

They arrived when they said they would. Joe the repairman, was pleasant, knew the problem right away, ordered the parts, and if it hadn't been the weekend, I would have been doing laundry within 3 days. I actually thought it couldn't be repaired. We definitely saved some money on this one.

o pay for diagnosis before Scott the Howard County MD area repair person is outstanding. Good and quick analysis, and repair, after parts arrived. The Kitchen Aide dishwasher now performs better than new. Competent expert installation. Very quick and efficient. Complete clean up and thorough testing. I was amazed at Scott's skill level and knowledge.

Our washer died at a very inopportune time: during a load of heavy towels on the weekend! After having trouble finding home service companies in the past (we were new to Baltimore), we joined Angie's List and searched for appliance repair company. The top recommendation came in as Landers, I called them. They asked if they could come the next day, I said ABSOLUTELY!. The part was a common one that they had on the truck. They fixed it and we were back in business, we didn't even have to empty the blasted thing. Overall, we couldn't have been happier.

The call to the company was smooth and very easy. They were able to schedule when I was available. They called with 20 min of arrival, arrived completed task in about 20 min. The technician was VERY friendly and professional explained everything he had done. The price seems slightly high, but I haven't had experience getting these services performed before. Overall it was a great experience.

They are very, very good. It was an extremely good encounter. I called them on a Sunday and left a message. They called back first thing Monday morning and they had somebody out the following day. The gentleman was very neat, clean, pleasant and professional. He knew what he was doing. They were prompt. I liked everything. I would not hesitate to call them again for any job. Very good experience from dispatcher, to technician to service manager. I got next day service, punctual arrival, thorough explanation of what he was doing (and what A&E should have done), advice on returning the part A&E had me buy and the satisfaction of finding the best appliance repair company.

the receptionist was great and scheduled immediately, gave us a service call price and told us labor/parts would be additional. Very professional company.

Turned out to be a 5 minute repair to clean out the line that was frozen. Was only charged for the call, not the labor, as it should have been.
