Response from Landers Appliance Inc
Hi Member, Thanks for using Landers Appliance to diagnose your microwave. Your microwave had a very unusual problem in that the wave guide cover located on top of your oven cavity caught fire. The fire was so hot that it burned the fan assembly located in the wave guide track, burned out the power control board and the main control board as well as the oven rack pegs. The wave guide cover is a thin fiber board that was probably displaying signs of fatigue and wear before it actually caught on fire. Due to the collection of problems related to the fire the repair to your microwave is not worth it and we recommended that you replace the unit. If you ever have a problem and need to discuss a possible repair before scheduling a service call, please ask to speak to my service manager Jim or myself. We would be delighted to try and help you determine if the unit is even worth having a service technician perform a service call diagnosis. Jim and I can be reached at 410 682-3232 or e-mail me at DLanders@LandersAppliance.com Dean Landers, President

We followed instructions, but the frost up problem persisted. The tech returned a week later at no charge. This time he correctly identified that the door didn't close properly. He adjust the door hinge and the frosting problem was solved. Landers did solve our problem at the price quoted.
Description of Work: The repair tech came to the house to diagnose a frost problem. He advised us to completely defrost the refrigerator.

Hi, I'm sorry we did not catch the door ribbing the frame during our first visit. Our technician thought the buildup of frost was causing the door to stay slightly ajar. Until all the frost and ice was removed he was not able to see what exactly needed to be done to correct the problem. I'm glad we were able to solve the problem on the second visit. Although we are not perfect and sometimes (I'm glad to say it is very infrequently considering the volume of calls we do on a daily basis) miss things we do try to make them right as quickly as possible, as you experienced. Please feel free to call me if you ever have a question or a problem with any of your appliances or a repair we have completed on your behalf. Happy New Year! After reading the reviews here, decided to contact Landers. The rep who answered the phone was extremely pleasant and professional. She explained the costs and scheduled the appoint. They called ahead of time and were punctual. Technician was very professional and had the part on the truck to fix the dishwasher. Techician fixed the dishwasher in 15 minutes. Works like a charm now. The stove part needed to be ordered only because of the model and age of the appliance. The technician looked up the part cost and told me the cost and I agreed to have them order the part. So when it arrives, they will call to come back out and install. But overall, I have no complaints and I would not hestiate to use the company again or recommend them.

The service personnel came out immediately after receiving the new control panel. The called first and arrived on time. They replaced the panel and checked out the oven from top to bottom. Once they were satisfied that everything worked, they cleaned up after themselves and departed. They were professional, fast and very thorough in their work. Next day the company rep called to see if we were satisfied and wanted make sure we understood their service guarantee and product manufacturer's warranty. Outstanding company and people to deal with.
Description of Work: Came and diagnosed our Jen-Air Wall Oven which was not working. Determined that the control panel was damaged from a power surge and needed to be replaced. They ordered the part and came to install it the same day that they received it. The service personnel were very professional, fast and yet thorough in their work. Company rep followed up the next day to ensure our satisfaction.

My 18-month-old Whirlpool stopped working. The Landers repairman said it had "lost its mind" -- that all the mechanics were working but its brain had stopped functioning. I called Whirlpool to give them an opportunity to make good, even though the machine was past its warranty period, it's only been an extra six months and they should make good. They did, sent me the part. And Landers will come install it.
Description of Work: I am having them come back to perform the service, we are awaiting delivery of a part. Landers came out QUICKLY and assessed my problem, though it was a tough problem to assess. I am eager to have the repair completed and would definitely call them again.

I had a Samsung refrigerator/freezer that was not cooling. Robert, a tech from Landers Appliance came out for the service call. Robert spent about an hour diagnosing the possible cause of the problem. The fans in the freezer and the refrigerator were completely frozen and encased in ice. Robert suggested several options he could try to fix the icing problem. The one we agreed on was for him to do a manual defrost on the freezer and the fridge. He gave me an approximate price to attempt the repair. I agreed and Robert spent the next 3 hours removing the back panels of the freezer and fridge and manually defrosting and melting the ice from the fans and the coils. When he was finished the freezer and the fridge were both working properly. He put everything back where it belonged and cleaned up the work area before he gave me the final bill which was less the the estimate. Robert was polite and professional. I will use Landers Appliance in the future for my appliance repair needs and would recommend them as a reliable and professional appliance repair firm. I recommend you ask for Robert when you call.

As the appliance gods would have it, three of our 5 major appliances konked out at the same time last year, so we decided to pull them all out, change out the flooring, and put new in-- washer/dryer, stove, microwave hood combo, and dishwasher. The only reason we didn't do the refrigerator is because we had just replaced it in 2010. We wanted to find an affordable way to do the complete update, and choosing Landers allowed us to choose new or scratch-and-dent pieces, which is what we did. The sales rep was great, and the service techs who installed everything came when they said they would.
Description of Work: Bought a new washer/dryer, dishwasher, stove, and microwave hood combo, and they took out the old appliances and installed the new ones. They hauled the old ones away too. When a week or so later the dishwasher didn't seem to be working properly, they immediately sent a tech out, and he replaced a defective gasket. Everyone--from the sales rep to the service techs-- was wonderful to work with. I've recommended the company many times since.

Great. See above. Although they aren't cheap, in future Landers will be the only place a call for appliance repairs.
Description of Work: I have an LG stove on which many of the digital numbers on the stove don't light up or parts of them light up so it is hard to tell the time or know what level of heat certain burners are on. I also have an LG dishwasher that just stopped working and had dirty water sitting in the bottom of it. I called one shop before looking on Angie's List and they gave me an appointment that was more than two weeks out. I joined Angie's List specifically to find help and Landers was the only place that dealt with LG appliances. They were wonderful I had an appoinment in two days, the service man came out looked at both appliances. Told me the cost to repair the stove was not worth it because it would require replacing the board which was almost as much as buying a new stove. The stove and oven still worked so we're just working around it. The dishwasher was another situation. He spent a lot of time trying to figure out the problem, something had burned out, and once he did called me back the next day with the price for the part. Within a week of his first coming out my dishwasher was fixed and back in business.

I called Landers on Saturday morning and received a return call promptly on Monday morning. I scheduled a service call for the same day Monday between 12:00 to 2:00. Dave showed up on time. He was very professional and heful.
Description of Work: I could not get my self cleaning oven to clean. I told the technician that I was not sure how to do it since this was the first time I tried to use the function. As it turned out the oven was fine and I did not know how to use the self cleaning element. The layout on the front of the oven is confusing.. The door lock that must be used was hidden and I was not using the proper buttons to the correct oven. Dave got me on the right track.

Mr. Landers told me that it would cost between $129 and $169 and might require using some wood to reinforce the cabinet holding the dishwasher. We agreed that if it turned out to be complicated due to cabinetry issues that he would instead give an estimate. The call was returned the same day, and the appointment made on the day two days out that I requested. Two workmen arrived this morning and were prompt, courteous, and professional, happy to answer any questions I had. They cleaned up meticulously and had brought with them exactly what was needed for the job. I could not have been more impressed and think this company is, as my Dad used to say, "a first-class outfit." The job took about 45 minutes and I was charged $149, which was right in the middle of the estimate and very fair.
Description of Work: I had hired a contractor to take care of a need for restoration/remodeling of my small condo kitchen following water damage. He did not take the responsibility he had signed on for of coordinating the final re-installation of the original dishwasher and sink in coordination with a new granite countertop. The dishwasher is an under-the-sink model which is rarely used. The job done by Landers was really neither sales nor repair -- the dishwasher worked fine and was all connected to water and electrical, but kept falling out of the cabinet it was in because it was not properly secured. It was difficult to find anyone who was well recommended and would also take this unusual job. I spoke to Dean Landers personally, who called me promptly and clearly on the phone knew what needed to be done. Since I had spoken to about ten workmen about the job and he was the first one able to size things up, I was very relieved. Two people from Landers came this morning and used a sidebrackets kit I had purchased from GE to reinstall the dishwasher securely.

Came home after 4 weeks of being away to find GE refrigerator had stopped cooling/freezing food. Called Landers Appliance and they were able to send service tech the same day I called. Service tech was very helpful and professional. He quickly diagnosed the cause and was able to remove and install new part the same day. Very satisfied with service.

We had used Landers a few months before to repair our gas oven, and had been pleased with their service. I called Friday morning and was advised that the next regular-priced appointment window was 8am-2pm on Monday. Both my husband and I work, so that was a fairly large window of time to cover for a service appointment. I asked if a note could be put in the appointment requesting we be put first if possible, since my husband would be home until 12pm, otherwise I would have to take off work and come home. My husband called me at 10am to say that Landers had called and said the repairman wouldn't be there until after 12pm. Somewhat of an inconvenience - not sure if my note requesting we be earlier was paid attention to, but Landers didn't promise anything. Around noon, serviceman called about 20 minutes out to say he'd be there soon, and arrived on time. He checked all of the wiring and then dismantled the dryer and found the problem with the switch. Once he figured out what the problem was, rewiring and putting the dryer back together only took about 15 minutes. Other than the issue with scheduling, we were very pleased with the work and would definitely call Landers again.
Description of Work: Our Whirlpool electric dryer (9 years old) would not turn on when we pressed the start button. The timer worked and light was on in the drum. Repairman diagnosed the problem as a broken switch that prevented the dryer from turning on. The switch was a safety mechanism, so that if the belt broke, the dryer wouldn't turn on. The belt was fine, just the switch was broken (the repairman said this was a very rare occurrence - only one other time in his career had he seen a switch break). Repairman was able to reroute the wiring to bypass the switch, avoiding a costly and time intensive repair to the switch (or possible replacement of the dryer if that would have been more cost-effective). Repair took about 40 minutes from start to finish - most of that was in diagnosing the problem - he started with checking all the wiring which would have been the most likely point of failure, and then moved on to less common problems.

Dear Member, I'm glad my technician was able to come up with an inexpensive repair solution for your dryer. I'm so sorry we were not able to meet your appointment time request. Monday's are our busiest days and even though we do our best to meet our customer's scheduling requests, every now and then we come up short. I trust you were offered the option of having a technician come to your house on Saturday. We do have a $20 additional charge to cover our added expenses in providing Saturday service but we have found that many people prefer Saturday as an option. If you ever have any questions or problems in scheduling a service appointment or for any other matter related to our company, please call and speak to either my service manager Jim, office manager Mary or myself. On Thursday our refrigerator stopped cooling and I called Lander's Appliance. We were hosting a backyard party the following Saturday and I needed to find out if my fridge could be repaired before the party, otherwise I would have to have a new one delivered. The Lander's repairman came the next day; he was able to make a temporary repair but told my husband that he would have to order another part. My husband paid the service fee and he left. I had already found a fridge at Best Buy, but my husband called and said that the repairman said it could be fixed. I called Landers and informed them that I needed my refrigerator fixed by the following Saturday because I was hosting a party and had caterers coming to drop off food. I explained that if they could not get the part in time for the party, I would just have the new fridge delivered. The repairman ASSURED me that he would get the part in the following Thursday; he added that he would come back to install it Friday morning, in time for the party of 100 on Saturday. I took him for his word. BIG MISTAKE!!! Thursday afternoon I got a call that the part did not arrive, moreover they could not give me any idea when it would arrive. Needless to say that I was left hanging with a catering order of meat on the way! I did not receive any calls to apologize for the mishap, however two weeks later, on Thursday 9/13 I received another call stating that the part still had not arrived! I could have done better if I had called Sears, at least their service fee is not has high. I paid $84.95 for nothing - the fridge stopped working Sunday morning - and still have to go out and buy a new fridge!

Dear Member, I'm sorry for the lack of communication you experienced with my staff and for the major imposition we caused you in not being able to get your refrigerator repaired in time for your party. The part your refrigerator needed was listed as a special order part. Before ordering we did check with over 30 parts distributors nationwide using a special customized software program and none showed it in stock. The distributor we ordered from told us that they would have the part to us on Friday 9/7/12. We took them at their word and told you that we would schedule the repair for the same day we were to receive the part. Even though UPS comes to us after the technicians leave for their days route we were going to have someone in our office staff run the part out to the technician in order to get your refrigerator working in time for your party the next day. On Thursday afternoon my parts department was checking all the manifests we receive from the various parts distributors for parts we are to receive the following day and noticed your part was not on the list. John in our parts department called the distributor and was told they had not received the part and they were not really sure of a date to give us for when we could expect to receive the part. We called you immediately to advise you that we were not going to be able to make the repair as scheduled because we had not received the part. My Customer Service Rep Joann made note that you wanted someone to call you the following week with an update on the status of the part. John in my parts department made a note and he called on 9/13 with the updated info we had been given that the factory had some kind of a problem in supplying the part and no one had it in stock and the parts distributor was still unsure of when we could expect to receive it. I fully recognize that we are the ones in front of you and have to bear the weight of not having been able to repair your refrigerator in the time frame we had scheduled. I am so sorry for the aggravation and imposition we caused you and your family. We passed along the information we were given which is normally reliable. Unfortunately we are at the mercy of having to order parts from a parts distributor. None of the parts distributors had any foreknowledge that this main control board your refrigerator needed had a supply problem from the factory. It was not until the due date of 9/7/12 that it came to light. We try our best to provide unparalleled customer service to all of our customers. Sometimes our best efforts fall flat as is the case with your refrigerator repair and for that I am truly sorry. Please call me to discuss the issue in greater detail. I can be reached at 410 682-3232 ext 101 or by email at DLanders@Landersappliance.com. Dean Landers, President Landers Appliance

Talk about honesty and integrity. I have used these folks many times for major appliance repairs and service. When it can be fixed, they do it promptly and fairly priced. This time the repair of our Maytag Washing machine (12 years old) made little sense. They diagnosed the issues, pointed out the problem and gave us an unbiased direction on what to look for in the new environment of Washing machines. The days of Maytag machines lasting 25 years are over! Thanks Landers!
Description of Work: Our Maytag Washing Machine began leaking water from the bottom of the machine. I called the office prior to the weekend and they were prompt to get to our house the first part of the next week and on time. Technician and office called to keep us informed on their evolving schedule.

Our GE Side by Side Fridge went from cooling to warm on the fridge side and slightly cool on the freezer side (the popsicles were slush). Went to Angie's List around 9am for 3 recommended companies. After reading the reviews it was narrowed down to two. One of the companies could not come out till 2 days later and was looking for something sooner. Called up Landers Appliance and was able to set up an appt for the morning slot for the next day. The female receptionist was very nice and couteous when setting up the appt, even though I had to call my wife and verify the morning time slot and call the company back 10min later. We took the 9 to 2 window and gave the home number and my work number. The female whom I could not remember her name, called at 10am and gave me an update on a closer timeframe for 11 and 1pm (Lots of Kudos for that). Then she called me back at work ~10:50 and gave me the heads of that the technician will be there around 1130 (kudos again). I met Dave W. around 1125, he was about 3min ahead of me according to my wife. Explained to Dave what we noticed 2 days ago and he immediately narrowed it down to 1 fo 3 things but was sure it was 1 of 2. He took the inside back cover off and behold, it was a block of ice pretty much. I saw the bad defrost heater, which was his 1st choice. He check his van for the repacement part and gave me the estimate. I agreed. I supplied him with some towels. By the way, we had emptied 75% of the freezer to our chest freezer, but dave had alread removed the rest and the shelves by the time I was back with the towels. Cup of water, his hair dryer, and the part was removed and replaced with an upgraded dual tube defrost heater for our 4.5yr old fridge. Dave was extremely courteous and provided and explanation to what he was doing and answered my curiousity questions along the way. He cleaned up everything and left no mess and put the shelves and the items back in the freezer. Dave and I also talked about a few other things like sports and what not while he was working. Dave was done and leaving the house by 1215 witrh credit card payment in hand. He left a couple of cards too. i will say this, nearly every review was dead on about the company and their technicians with the exception of 1 or 2. I wish the price could have been $50 cheaper, but no matter what the price we all wish it could be cheaper. I do think it was reasonable, but for the level of service from the phone call to the finished work, that was ok with me. I would definitely do/prefer their business again if anything goes wrong in my house. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I also had gotten a coupon for $10 off from angies website for them too. And Dave I enjoyed our conversation, need to invite him over when I BBQ to get a plate.

Purchase of washer which broke one year and one day from the date it was put in my condo.
Description of Work: I ordered a washer and dryer from Landers one year and one day ago - ie the warranty ran out one day ago. After having our building maintenance look at the washer for water overflowing the pan he noted I needed someone to evaluate the washer it was not the building. Len the Plumber came and looked at it and said it was not the plumbing - it was washer itself. Landers sent out someone who used my towels soaked up the water in the pan with my towels and called me and said he could not find a problem. Call Landers again if it happens again! I called and spoke with Dean Landers the owner who is only employed because he is the owner. He was inappropriate and sexist and thought because I was woman he could get away with yelling at a woman. I have notified better business bureau to file a complaint. I believe he was so rude because I am a woman and he did not want to have to replace the washer. So if you need a stackable washer and dryer and live at the Vue in Baltimore - I would recommend you use someone else although the building nanagement, Wentworth Properties, trys to force you to use them. ANYONE is better than this! Update to situation above - third plumber sent out to evalutate the leak and it was a problem with the pipes in the building ie Wentworth's problem (the building) and NOT the machine. I am glad to know it was Wentworths inital mistake in stating it was not the building and I needed a plumber. Thus this was not a problem with the washer from Landers but I am not removing the post given the way Dean Landers handled the above. I would not have even joined Angies list if it was not for the verbal abuse from Mr. Landers. And he only called back to apologize because I wrote this review. SO make your own decision as to if to use Landers. I never will again. And what I can say is the products may be acceptable at Landers but if that is the customer service from the President of the company I'd rather not have a washer and dryer.

Dear Member, Thanks for your comments. I understand that you are upset because you have a leak in your house. I would be as well. The problem is that no one, including your plumber nor my service technician have been able to find a source of the leak. After three hours of testing for a leak your plumber never saw the washer nor anything else in your house leak. He was deducing that the washer was leaking by eliminating everything plumbing related around the machine. This makes sense. We did the same thing. Our technician, Steven, was given a key to your condo as no one was there to let him in. He spent well over an hour at your house inspecting the washer for leaks, testing every operation of the machine. The external flood pan had water in it and there was water on the floor on the outside of the pan. Under the strict guidelines of the warranty agreement you would normally be responsible to remove the dryer that was stacked on top as well as remove the unit from the closet it was mounted in. We performed these tasks as a courtesy in our attempts to discover why your washer was leaking. Steven called me from your house after having spent quite a bit of time looking for any signs of a leak. He asked if I had any other suggestions. All my suggestions had already been checked. I recommended he repeat the tests to confirm that the machine was not leaking at this time, which he did. Still there was no leak, nor was there any sign of a leak on any of the internal components. All the water hoses, clamps, pump, fill valve, etc. were in perfect shape, without any signs of distress or water stains. We agreed it would be wise to remove the standing water from the flood pan under the washer as well as the water on the floor in order to provide you with a water free environment so that if the washer leaked again you may be able to see the area the leak was coming from in order to alert the proper repair personnel. Steven reassembled the dryer to the top of the washer. When he was finished he called you on the phone and attempted to communicate the process he had followed throughout his diagnostic procedure. Steven called me immediately at the end of your discussion to alert me to the fact you did not appreciate or agree with his determination concerning the washer and as a result there was some degree of tension between the two of you. Before I had gotten off the phone with him you called in asking to speak to me as the person in charge. I gladly took your call and attempted to repeat to you the process used in assessing your washer for leaks and the conclusions we arrived at. We attempted to recreate the leak without success, just like the plumber before us. The only option we are left with at that point it to wait until the leak occurs on a regular basis in order to pin point the source. The possible source options I related to you during our second phone call are all best guesses. We won't know where the leak is actually coming from until it can be clearly identified. To be sure Whirlpool, the manufacturer of your machine and all the other manufacturers would never ever consider replacing a machine of any age during the warranty period unless the cause could be traced to their product and if the unit was not repairable. We have not reached any such conclusion. We are happy to return if the machine leaks again and attempt to determine the leak source at that time. We cannot fix something that is not malfunctioning, nor showing any signs of ever malfunctioning. As I told you feel free to call me to discuss this matter further when you have additional information or if the machine leaks again. We are happy to help. My front loading washer would not work while giving me a waterflow error on July 3rd. The technician, Scot, came on the 4th of July at precisely the scheduled time, diagnosed the problem within 30 minutes and provided an estimate 15 minutes after that. The parts arrived quickly and the repair was completed 3 days later on July 7th. There has not been a problem with the washer since. The initial visit included a $95 service fee, which is fair. The service was outstanding and professional. Scot was very thorough in diagnosing the problem and tried hard to find something wrong that would be an easier or cheaper fix. I felt like he was looking out for my best interests vice just trying to sell me parts I didn't really need. I appreciate that more than anything. I would definitely recommend Landers Appliance to anyone in need of washer/dryer repair!

I don't know whether to be mad at LG (the manufacturer) or Landers. I called LG based on an error code the out-of-warranty dishwasher was giving me. LG gave me their "read-from-a-book" diagnosis and I relayed that to Landers when I asked for service. Nevertheless, Landers came out and charged me $99.95 to tell me what LG had told me. They gave me an estimate to repair the issue. The cost of repair was almost 3/4th the cost of a new dishwasher. So we did not go ahead with the repair. I wish there would have been away to get a ball park repair estimate based on the error code from the dishwasher, That said, the repair guy was very friendly, courteous and professional. They provide a 5 hours window when you call but narrow it down to 2 hours the day of the service call. I could have sworn that they said they would pro-actively call the morning of the service call but I ended up having to call Landers to get a confirmation on the smaller time frame. My guess is that Landers is really too far away, geographically, to be of much help in the future but since they were about the only ones in the State that would even look at LG and come to my house, it was worth it. They are very upfront with the fact that the service call of $99.95 is in addition to anything else. So be prepared to shell out the bucks whether you get a repair or not.

Thanks for your comments. I'm sorry for the situation you find yourself in with the dishwasher. I know how frustrating it can be to be confronted with an expensive repair. I've not read the notes concerning your service call as I am on vacation with my family but wanted to respond as quickly as possible. As appliances become more electronic control dependent the manufacturers have nt figured out a way to contain the parts cost for older products. Their money is spent on current production and therefore repairs are often very high. Some brands have a better handle on this than others and I have written extensively on our blog site about the various differences. My customer service staff Is not versed in fault codes and we have also fund that many fault codes have multiple possible causes. So our practice is that unless a customer specifically asks for a repair price on the core component that a fault code identifies we will have the technician come out and confirm the matter to insure a proper diagnosis. Otherwise there is no way to know for sure. But in the event that you ever have a problem and you want to know a price in advance of our scheduling a service call, ask the customer service rep and they will forward all your info to my service manager and myself and one of us will research and provide a repair estimate for you. Please email me at Dlanders@LandersAppliance.com if you would like to discuss the specifics of your repair or if you have any other questions. I look at email at least once a day while I'm away. The service was excellent. They were very punctual and showed up when they said they would. My husband had already fixed the problem so I just paid them for a service call and they took a look at it. It was a good experience.

I called Landers which quoted $80 to examine the washer and approx $40 to examine the dryer. Since they are not new appliances I initially thought that was a high service charge. But it turns out I was very pleased with the technician, Joe, who was punctual, polite and clearly had encyclopedic knowledge which he was willing to explain so that I understood the pros and cons of undertaking the repair. He also provided a great explanation of the pros and cons of high efficiency washers which made me grateful to be repairing my old Kenmores. Joe explained the problem with the washer and quoted a repair price. He examined the dryer and did the same. Given the age of the dryer the comparatively high cost to replace the faulty timer, I decided to wait on that repair. I will be calling Landers for all of my appliance repair issues in the future.
Description of Work: I opened my washing machine during the spin cycle and it would no longer enter the spin mode. The timer on my very old dryer was not working to stop the dryer from spinning once the dry cycle was over.

Very pleased with work done. The price is a bit high for the travel charge, but overall, I would definately use them again. They called when the tech was on the way, a nice plus.

Hi Member, Thanks for using my company! Our service charge covers both the travel and the diagnosis of the appliance, in your case the refrigerator. Once we diagnose the problem, we give you our professional opinion as to whether or not the appliance is worth repairing or not and we quote for the total repair, which would include any parts and labor necessary to complete the repair. The repair cost is the same whether or not we have the part on the truck, requiring additional trips to your house. Please call me or any of my staff if you have additional questions.or if we can be of service to you for any of your appliances! Have a great summer! Recently our dryer had started squeaking for the first few minutes but would then go away once the dryer was warmed up. It started lasting much longer. Scott came in, diagnosed and explained the problem and then had it fixed quickly and efficiently. He was very professional and personable. We would definitely use Landers again

We had a small fire on our dual fuel range. We had done a kitchen remodel and had put the stove on our porch during the remodel - seems a mouse had chewed on the wires during this time so when I spilled water on the range it caused a short that had flames shoot out of the handle that regulates the flame. I called Landers afer I had shopped newer rangers and couldn't find one with all the features ours had - They had a repairman there the next morning to access the damage - he provided us a cost and time to repair estimate and said the parts would be in within a week. 3 days later I got a call that the parts had arrived and they could do the repair that day. In addition to the repair caused by the fire I had them clean our 2 oven doors making our old range work and look like new completeing our remodeled kitchen!
Description of Work: Replaced the top burners on the gas range as well as the handles to regulate the flamecleaned the two oven doors removing 10 years of drips that existed between the glass doors
