He suggested replace over repair - good call.

The technician looked at it, confirmed that it was indeed broken, and then advised us that it would cost as much to repair as it would to buy a new dishwasher. We ultimately decided not to repair it. It was a bit frustrating for us to have spent $99 on a service call just to find out we should buy a new dishwasher, but that wasn't the technician's fault at all.

Horrible customer care from all employees

I think Joe was very professional and knowledgeable. He had to come back a couple of days later after the part was ordered. Just because of the cost $130 cost of re-balancing the wash machine, which I thought was outrageous, I probably wouldn't use them again.

The technician found that a small piece of broken glass had worked it's way to the pump and caused it to stop working. He removed the glass and tested the dishwasher to make sure there were no other blockages or issues with the pump or lines before leaving. I've used Landers before for other appliance repairs and they always have very experienced professionals for any type of appliance repair.

After checking dryer out, technician noticed that the circuit breaker was warm to the touch and turned the circuit off again while advising me to call an electrician. The electrician came, removed the panel cover, and the breaker in question began to smoke when the dryer was turned on. Needless to say, it has been replaced. Thank you, George and Joe - a very very good catch!

Very well. Technician very professional. Diagnostic service, gave estimate for part needed and servicing the same day in order to decide to have repaired or replace.

This is the third time we have used Landers and they have always done a great job. We do not call anyone else and have spread their cards to our friends an neighbors.

I was pleased to see that Landers website offered an Ask the Expert feature where you could email the question to them to help determine just that, since I did not have time for appliance shopping. I did that, giving all of the pertinent info, and never got a reply. So, I am not rating them on anything other than responsiveness to my inquiry since I did not attempt to contact them again.

Bill Cannan evaluated the appliance and made an extreme effort to repair it. However, he couldn't complete the repair because critical parts were no longer available anywhere - my appliance was too old. He charged only for a service call.

Joe was very professional and prompt. I would highly recommend Landers Appliance and would definitely call them in the future for any of my appliances.

I like how he quickly diagnosed the problem. He did that in less than 5 minutes and he knew what was wrong with it.

The first technician came twice and he tried a couple of things and drove my husband crazy with his chit-chat. the third time, we asked for someone else and it got fixed right away. I still like the company and have been using them for years despite this experience. They did not charge for the last two visits.

After placing a service request on their website, the dispatcher contacted us early the next morning to schedule a visit which was the very same day. Some questions concerning the repair were handled with courteous phone calls. While the price for the visit was a bit high ($99), the overall repair was in-line with expected costs.

Technician came out, diagnosed the problem, ordered part, and came back in a couple of days to repair machine. He was fast and efficient.

I appreciated the honesty when told to save my money and buy a new fridge that would cost the same amount of money.

It went wonderfully well. I'm so impressed with Landers that I will only use them now. Before they even came out, they had me check a few things to make sure I hadn't overlooked something simple. They are always so kind, fair and efficient. They also made a repair on our stove. Their service technicians are the best and they know how to explain certain appliance traits to a layperson. They were fantastic!

Continuous busy signal, never got through to them. Gave up and called another service company with good results.

Despite calling more than once, I did not receive a call back for an appointment.

I researched Landers on Angie's List along with other appliance repair companies. They were very responsive and scheduled someone within 24hrs. They called about 30 minutes before the service tech arrived. The tech., Danny, spent time showing me what went wrong with my dryer and read through the owners manual to determine what was wrong with the dehumidifier. He also made calls for different solutions for the control panel on my KitchenAid stove.

The repair went very quickly, Danny (the technician) was done in just under an hour after arrival. Dryer works like new and sounds smooth, it's an old and ugly dryer, but it has new life! Danny was impressed about its age, did quick research, and learned that it is an oldie but goodie Whirlpool 1972 model - built to last another 40 years!! As an aside: Joe is another technician with Lander's that does great work...he came out in February 2013 to take care of my washer...I highly recommend this company and their efficient and courteous technicians.

Timely response to my request for a washing machine repair. The service technician was very nice and helpful. However I decided not to repair the washer because the cost of the repair was going to be prohibitive.

The guys came out and they did a good job of fixing what was wrong with the compressor or whatever. But what they didn't realize was when they left the refrigerator door open for so long, the light bulb melted the water line. They came back and fixed it for free, but I just couldn't understand why all of a sudden water was spewing everywhere. I thought the technicians were appropriately trained. I don't know why? Maybe the bulb was so close to the water line or something or maybe it never happened before. But, they did come out and fix it at no charge. They should not have had to come twice. They're one of the few people that fix sub-zero refrigeration in residential. They're hard to find.
