While you can typically replace a microwave relatively easily, buying a new refrigerator can be much more difficult, especially if you’re on a tight budget. At Eleet Appliance Repair in Baltimore, we provide in home appliance repair in Baltimore and surrounding areas. We repair your existing appliances so you don’t have to spend the extra money to buy new ones. From gas oven repairs to washer repair service, and dishwasher repairs, know that Eleet Appliance Repair will get the job done right the first time! We offer a free estimate when the repair is approved by you, if you do not wish to do the repair our $60.00 service fee will apply only then! We offer flat rate pricing for labor at $99.00 (plus parts) no matter what issue and time duration! This way you know what you are paying before we even step foot in your door! Note: Due to the flat rate pricing we no longer offer sealed system (ie. compressor) work on refrigerators due to the cost and time to the customer. At Eleet Appliance Repair, we believe in honesty. That’s why we never begin any service work without your permission, so you don’t have to worry about hidden costs appearing on your bill.

Very well. He determined the cause of the problem was the sensors. He reset them. It's possible it could happen again, if it did the sensors may need replacing. He said the sensors are expensive, I need to consider the age of the washer if that happens.

The tech shows up and tells me the motherboard needs to be replaced it would cost as much to replace as it would to buy a new washer so I ordered a new washer then like 3 days before the washer was due to come my husband went down and push the button on the washer and it actually worked and it's still working. I paid $60 just to receive incorrect information. Thankfully I was able to cancel the new washer with no penalties

hello thanks for the review. unfortunately that is how computers work they may be on the fritz one day then start to work again and give intermittent issues. I also didn't recommend to repair it as it would be very expensive and I look out for all my customers. It just so happened that it started working again and a plus you but never had anyone dislike that their machine starts to work again. hope it continues to fair well for you and have a great day.

They are local and they were just fabulous. He was really good. He was prompt, he was courteous, he called before he came. He came when he said he was going to come and his prices were much better than anybody else.
Description of Work: They replied a couple little appliances. He repaired my clothes dryer and before that he came to fix my dishwasher and while he was here he fixed the handle on my refrigerator for free.

Description of Work: I had them come out to provide expert advice on why my dishwasher and why it was backing up with smelly water. I told them I had a new garbage disposal installed. The technician informed me that I needed a new air valve attatched on top of the sink for correct flow. When I asked how much to install one he said he dosen't perform that service. I called a home improvement firm and had them come out and they told me I just needed to run the hose high enough to create a trap and no air valve was needed.

Description of Work: Called him Friday, ask him to look at our washer that would no longer drain. Offered to come out on Saturday morning, but we we going away. Came right on time first thing Monday. Ended up replacing the washer, but would definitely call Eleet again.

My boyfriend was the one that was home- he didn't ask for the Angie's list discount. Honestly I don't know if the price was reasonable or not - or if we got the discounted rate. He arrived on time and was friendly. He performed the service quickly. We have not had any trouble since. Most important my dog loved him - I would pay extra for that.

Eleet Appliance sent over a very professional technician to repair my dryer. The technician (Jon) provided a courtesy call before the appointment, and showed up for the appointment on time. His demeanor was courteous throughout the appointment. As Jon fixed the dryer, he explained what he was doing and the ultimate problem that was affecting the machine.
Description of Work: Eleet Appliance Repair fixed a loose "clip," which prevented the drum in the dryer from operating properly.

Came when scheduled (2 days after I called; not an emergency) and on time. Owner is service technician. Quickly diagnosed problem and basically took freezer compartment apart to repair. I mentioned that I thought water had leaked on the side of frig, so he looked there and under the dishwasher, and found a seriously leaking water valve and an inch of water. If the valve wasn't replaced soon, it would have leaked water all over kitchen floor and new hardwood floors in adjoining rooms. He worked quietly and quickly and cleaned up. He gave me the Angie's List discount even though I forgot to print the coupon. I'd call him again in an instant.

Jonathan was responsive to my initial call and scheduling of the appointment. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I would use him again in the futue.
Description of Work: Problem: Clothes dryer would not stay on long enough to dry clothes. When drying, it would stay on for about 15 minutes and then go off. After unplugging it and plugging it back in, it would go on for another 5-10 minutes but then off again. Since it appeared nothing else was wrong with it, it was determined it is most likely the timer going up which I agreed to have replaced.

Jon called me Thursday afternoon to confirm his arrival time (appt scheduled for 3-4pm) of 3pm. Unfortunately, my train ran a little late and I was actually 5 minutes late arriving to my residence. Jon was waiting for me and was very nice about my delay. He entered my residence with me, went straight to work and was finished within 15 minutes. I paid for the services, he gave me his card, we shook hands, I thanked him and he departed. Jon was very professional and pleasant. I would recommend Eleet and use them again if I need any future appliance repairs.
Description of Work: I called Eleet after reading their reviews on Angie's list and left a message. Within 5 minutes I received a return call, and scheduled an appointment for that Sat., March 9th, between 8am-9am. I discovered that my oven door had been damaged by flooring installers (Luna - TERRIBLE!) after they departed. I opened the oven door to prepare dinner and the glass front literally fell out. Luckily, I caught it on my legs, so the glass remained intact. Upon further examination, I discovered that the actual metal frame and handle which secured the glass front had been damaged. Jon called Sat. morning at approximately 8:15am to let me know he would arrive within 15 minutes. He was very punctual, courteous and professional. He examined the oven door, determined what was needed to make the repair and let me know the parts would need to be ordered and would arrive within 2-3 business days. He prepared a written receipt, accepted and applied the 10% off coupon I printed from Angie's list and we scheduled the actual repair appointment for the following Thursday afternoon. Jon was very expeditious while not being rushed which I greatly appreciated. The initial appointment was complete and he departed within approximately 15 minutes of his arrival.

Dryer repair was excellent. The serviceman also looked at a broken handle on our built-in microwave, but did not repair it. The serviceman said the whole door would have to be replaced (incorrect).
Description of Work: Our clothes dryer stopped heating. Serviceman fixed the problem, and also made a very important safety recommendation- we had a plastic vent hose that was unsafe, and the serviceman recommended we replace it with an aluminum one asap.

I called Wednesday afternoon and he came Thursday morning. He replaced the part on Monday morning. I would use Jonathan again to fix an appliance, it was a good experience.
Description of Work: My refridgerator had a faulty light switch. The two interior lights stayed on and to quote Jon, "I had my very own easy bake oven!! " He checked out the freezer and checked temperature levels in both areas and concluded that it was only the switch. He disconnected the switch, said I could use the frig. He returned with the part two days later. He was punctual and called 30 mins before arriving. I would use him again because he was knowledgeable and reasonable. Jane
