Description of Work: When I talked to Chesapeake, price went from $129 for cleaning less than 100 feet of gutter to over $400 after I said I had gutter covers. As that seemed like a big surcharge, I called the gutter cleaners (highly reputable) I had used before and they will do the job for $125, $40 surcharge for the gutter covers.

Description of Work: Wanted my deck washed and sealed in May. Chesapeake prop services was the only company that could do the work before August. I have a 20 x 40 deck, no railing or pickets and the total charge was $525, very reasonable. I was not here when the work was performed but the deck looks great, like new and the water is still beading up and not soaking in so the sealing is working. I will definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: Ordered on Sunday the 31st of May. Contacted Gus on the 1st of June. He said that while I was out of their service area they would still honor the service. Also stated that they would need to charge me an extra $45 because part of my roof was "hipped". Now this equates to less than 1/8th of the roof line but justified a 40% price increase. Stated that because I was outside of their normal work area it would take up to 7 business days to clean the gutters. On the 8th business day I received communication from them that it would take longer to perform the service. They stated that they will "pencil me in for sometime the following week". At that point I decided to cancel the service. I contacted my normal gutter cleaning company and they were able to service my house in 4 business days. What further upset me is seeing people post reviews stating that they were serviced within 4 days and given the date of the review appeared to have ordered after me. It doesn't matter if you can schedule the service in 1 day, as this ad stated. What is important is how long it will take for the service. If the coupon had said it would take over 2 weeks I would have never purchased. If I am outside the normal service area than the vendor needs to update their service area in your system so I wouldn't see this offer.

Unfortunately, the customer experienced on two different occasions a weather delay. Both days, when the customer was scheduled, our days were cut short due to rain. Weather is beyond our control and we try to do the best with the circumstances that we are dealt. Due to the delays, the customers project was pushed out past the initial expected time of completion. We had offer a discount, stayed in constant communication to keep them updated and offered multiple schedule options. The location is part of our service area so there must have been a misunderstanding there. We apologize we fell short on getting your work completed

Description of Work: The project was gutter cleaning. The salesman that called insisted that I had a home that was more than 2 stories tall, and as a result there would be additional charges. I have lived in my home for 35 years. My home is a 2 story home with a total of 70 linear feet of gutter - a very small job. I pointed out that my home was 2 stories tall, but the salesman kept badgering me that it was not. I refused to accept the additional charges.

I am sorry for the misunderstanding. We determine the height of the home from gutter to ground. Your particular home sits on a hill therefore has multiple gutter systems that are above two stories because the basement is partially exposed. A basement counts as a level.
