I purchased a gutter cleaning from Angie's List website and paid $115. I received an email from Chesapeake Property Services (CPS) asking me to contact them about setting up an appointment. I would have preferred THEM contact ME since I had already purchased the service, but no big deal. I contacted CPS to set up the appointment and was informed that because part of my home was three story, I would have to pay an additional $45 fee. Again, no big deal because I still think $160 was a good price, but I would have liked to have been notified when I purchased the service that there were additional fees. All in all, they did a great job and I would recommend them!

I purchased an Angie's List deal for deck work. Provider arrived on time and measured deck. He told me the square footage of the deck was larger than what was covered by the deal. He offered me the option of cleaning only part of the deck or of doing the whole deck at the same rate. I chose to do the whole deck. He power-washed the deck that day, then came back a few days later to put sealant down. Very professional and courteous.

It was easy to set up an appointment. I had used this provider before and was pleased with the service. There was a wait (I didn't think I would have to wait more than a week for the service), but they were able to come sooner than they anticipated because of good weather. The job was done well and there were no issues. They provide a checklist detailing if any issues are found and recommendations. I did not see anyone in person.

Gus runs a professional operation. He was very responsive about scheduling the gutter cleaning. Although we had to wait a week or two, he emailed and his men came when they were supposed to. His workmen were also professional and explained all aspects of the recommended work (like additional hanger installation and a hole they found in a gutter). They also cleaned out by hand the sand that had gotten into the gutters from the shingles. Gus was great about discussing different options of various prices depending on how long we would be staying in the house, etc. I would definitely use Cheapeake in the future for gutter cleanings and other work that they do.

Providers showed up on time and got right to work after I showed them where the outside hoses were. They cleaned out the gutters and the downspouts, which were clogged with leaves and maple tree seed pods. They also cleaned up and hauled away all of the stuff that was inside the gutters -- they did not leave a mess. They did some minor repair work on our gutters, including re-attaching a downspout that had come off and pounding in nails from a loose gutter. They gave me a quote to come back and do a more thorough fix, which I took advantage of.

I requested the provider call 15-30 ahead of time so that I could make sure the 3 canine family members were safely inside as well as my elderly mother who had a surgical procedure that morning would not be disturbed. I also requested a time window and received 1-4. The staff showed up at 1215 without any notice. They did a very good job and apologized for no notice. They made sure they kept fence gates closed and gave me notice if they were going to be going through the gate or anywhere the dogs would be. The owner/manager Gus called to make sure everything was good apologizing for the lack of notice and made a second follow up call. This company showed exemplary customer service despite mistakes because they followed up and demonstrated that they cared. Dawn

I bought the Angie's List deal: "$119 Gutter Cleaning (Unlimited Lineal Feet)!" Shortly after making the purchase, Chesapeake called and said they could tell from Google Maps that we have a separate garage and that there would be an additional $35 charge. The deal says it's $119 for unlimited gutters, and it doesn't specify that the lengths need to be on the same building. Anyway, our garage is attached to the house via a breezeway that's only about 15 feet long. Also, there was a lot of rain in June. I bought the deal on June 5, and it was almost one month before the gutters got cleaned because the schedule kept getting changed. In the meantime, the gutters were overflowing. Next time, I'll confirm the full price ahead of time, and I'll call well in advance so the gutters can be cleaned more promptly.

Bought the deal they offered via Angie's List. Company contacted me right away about an appointment. Personnel at company were very responsive to emails. Had to wait a few weeks but no big deal. On day of appointment, workers showed up and did a good job. They were polite and cleaned up. They did a thorough job; much better than the company I hired last year. Will hire them again next year.

We were recommended this company outside of Angie's list from a friend who used them for gutter cleaning. We just purchased a new home and were not sure of the previous owner's care or cleaning history. Chesapeake Property services quoted cleaning 3 bedrooms, a hall and a stairway. Included in the treatment was: 1. High Traffic treatment 2. Prespotting stain remover 3. Raking of the carpet pile 4. Carpet cleaning, stain removal, and deodorizer. We arranged the appointment through email with Tony Trintis. In the process, it took several repeat emails to get a response on the service window. I tried to call the office, which referred me to Tony's cell number. He didn't answer or return voice-mails. We were unsure of the condition of the carpet, soil level and pet history given that we had not yet moved in. Their carpet cleaning equipment was not a commercial-grade truck-mounted hot water extraction machine as we expected. It was an extra-large rug doctor-style machine. The cleaning only lasted for a little over an hour. The high-traffic pattern stains are still in the carpet, and I'm not sure it looks any cleaner than before. There are smells from the carpet that seem to have gotten worse in the process. We didn't expect the carpet to look new and stain-free. We knew the carpet would need replacement soon and hoped this would help to delay carpet replacement. Unfortunately, ripping it out may be more imminent now, with $335 less to spend for new carpet. If you are looking for a good carpet cleaning, this company's equipment is not well suited for commercial-grade deep cleaning. A true truck-mounted hot water extraction system is the gold standard of carpet cleaning. It supplies the operator a constant supply of fresh hot water and they do not need to constantly stop to dump and refill (similar to rental units).

The Provider recommended the brackets after cleaning the gutters.

All went well. I called them in a panic on a Wednesday because rain was pouring over my roof. Gus calmed me down, and told me they would be out as soon as they could. Friday they came out. Overall, it went well. They answered all of our questions. They cleaned the gutters just fine, but it didn't seem to take very long. So even though it was a "deal" I purchased I still feel like it was too much money. They did seem like they were in a hurry.

I believe I live in an area on the outside edge of their territory so it took them over threeweeks to get to me. They informed be of That it may make two weeks, I was OK with that. However, after two weeks I had to call them to make sure they were still coming and get on the schedule. Should not have been this hard They guys who did the work were great. cleaned gutters and augured the downspouts. They were in and out and were pleasant.and professional. I would use again but would not have paid via Angie's list. Since I prepaid I think they were not concerned about getting to me. Won't go that route again.

Gus was great to work with! Very responsive to emails and all the work was done well. I have a ton of trees and the gutters gunk up fast. First, we had a cleaning and then they returned to fix the leaks! I used them last year to clean my gutters and they did a wonderful job. Will continue to work with this business.

They were fine. They did a fine job. He contacted me pretty quickly, but he couldn't schedule for at least two weeks out.

They did an excellent job. They showed up when they said they were going to show up. They followed up. They were just excellent and very good. I will absolutely use them again.

Chesapeake did an excellent job cleaning my gutters, and trust me - they were so filthy and backed up that a few birds had built nests in them. (Eek!) They even left a little review form where they let you know if they recommend any work on the soffits, roof, etc. It did take them a couple of weeks to get out there from when I first purchased their service, but they respond as soon as you purchase and let you know the next available week that they can come out. And in the end, they left me a coupon for referring customers to them and for my next services through them as well. All in all, I would DEFINITELY use them again. I see that they offer power washing and several other services that I would like to take advantage of in the future as they did such a good job on my gutters. I highly recommend them based on my experience.

Showed up on time with all the needed equipment. They pointed out where the problem areas where and what was plugging up the downspouts and actions we should take in the futures. I no longer have plugs or problems with my gutters draining. Definitely will be calling this guys every spring to make sure my gutters are all in good working condition.

It was about two weeks to get on the schedule for the service, everything went well, team cleaned up after quick gutter cleaning. They provided a report on the condition of the gutters when done.

I had used Chesapeake Property Services previously to clean and tighten gutters. I called and made an appointment, they arrived as scheduled and did the job. The gutters were quite dirty but no mess was left on the ground. They also left a useful summary sheet explaining what they had done.

I contacted the provider and was told that they could not do the work because I had a slate roof. I would like a refund.

They did a great job cleaning the blocked gutters. Cleaned up after themselves. Very pleased and would definitely use them again.
