AZALEAS TO ZINNIAS

There were a couple of delays before they got started, which is to be expected during the busy season. Once they got started, however, A to Z did a superb job, finishing in just a few work days and even helping out by watering our newly transplanted shrubs while we were gone for the weekend. Kyle, Matt and the crew were very responsive, professional and flexible (we had changed our initial design). We would highly recommend them to others looking for a good, honest landscaping contractor.

From estimate to completion, the process was flawless. The owner provided the initial estimate and continued to communicate throughout. The project started and completed on time, with the exception of some inclement weather, but again, the communication was flawless so that I was never surprised. The workers were polite and knowledgeable, the workmanship was flawless, the finished product is beautiful, the pricing was competitive with the lowest bid with significantly better materials, and the daily and final cleanup were much better than expected. I have already recommend Azaleas to Zinnias to my neighbors - who admired the work as well.

AZALEAS TO ZINNIAS gave the upmost excellent service with an even better end result. Our backyard went from mediocre to the best yard in our neighborhood. The team showed up on time everyday, cleaned up after themselves and were incredibly kind and respectful. All our questions were answered and they truly listened to our requests. We could not have a picked a better landscaping company to work with. We look forward to coming home each day and being outside as we now have our very own paradise.

It was a very fair quote; we're just not moving forward with the project right now. The cost was $600. That was for removing the old grass, putting in fresh dirt to build up the property; it's actually two properties that are side-by-side, and then they were going to put in sod. So it was about $600 for the sod price and about half that for grass seed and straw. Their price was actually on the lower end compared to a couple of other quotes I've gotten - or at least one other quote I've gotten. For quality, just in attentiveness, the service, they were like with me in like scheduling but then like I want to say a day. Let's go with A, but you know that's based on just meeting the guy and receiving a quote, not actually having the work performed. For professionalism, he showed up and he looked like a gardener, he spoke like a gardener; I'll give him an A. I mean, there wasn't any like cursing or anything like that, and that's always a plus. I hope to hire them in the future; we have another project come up that's actually a little bit more useful than leveling a yard out, if you know what I mean.

Azaleas to Zinnias were a pleasure to work with! Our project included a good deal of landscaping as well as hardscaping, and the results were terrific. Kyle made excellent recommendations for both the transplanted and new shrubs/plants/trees and was very responsive through the entire process. We have used many landscapers over the years, but Azaleas to Zinnias were hands down the most efficient, professional, conscientious, and respectful. I would highly recommend this company and will happily contract with them again.

The finished product looks great and I am very happy with it. The work seems to have helped reduce if not eliminate the water intrusion problem.

Very well!! Kyle Hodges understood exactly what I wanted, and he and his team took out the unsightly cement walkway, and replaced it with a beautiful, wide, curving quartzite walkway at the front of the house and matching step-stones leading around, plus two wrought iron railings on the front porch. His team took about 6 work-days in August 2016 to complete the project (the railings were added later). The result is an elegant approach to my house that combines craft with art.

This is the 4th time I have used Azaleas to Zinnias for outdoor projects; this project involved replacing an existing walkway with a new paver walkway along with burying 2 downspouts to reroute the water away from the walkway. Kyle and his team did a great job, were on time, professional and completed the job in 2-1/2 days. We are thrilled with how nice it looks. They also mulched around the existing garden area adjacent to the walkway. Kyle is a top notch landscaper, I've recommended him to several friends who are looking for landscaping/hardscaping for their homes. Thank you Kyle and team for another excellent job for our home!!!

It went great. I have used A to Z in the past and they are very easy to work with and easy to get in touch with. They communicate delays as well. They've installed a patio and done some bigger landscaping jobs for me over the past few years. This job was smaller, but they still treated it like any of the other bigger jobs they've done. I had a couple concerns that were addressed right away. I've never had to be home or inconvenienced. They just show up when I'm at work and I come home to a fresh new yard in the evening. And the prices are always better when I compare to other companies. Good old fashioned hard work and fair prices.

Everything went very well. We contacted Kyle and he scheduled us to meet promptly. He came and listened to our ideas. Then he sent us the design proposal and estimate the same day. We liked the design and the price and he scheduled the work the following week. The team that came was professional and courteous. They worked with us to decide on the location of the plants in the backyard. They answered any questions I had on how to take care of the plants. Kyle was able to schedule the work immediately to maximize the fall growing period for the new grass. The Azaleas to Zinnias team worked efficiently and meticulously throughout the one day project. They even addressed some bare spot areas in the front yard that were not included in the estimate. We are extremely happy with the end result and would absolutely use Azaleas to Zinnias for any landscaping challenges going forward. An excellent experience from beginning to end.

I would give an A+ to Kyle and his landscaping crew for planting a beautiful garden along with two white pine trees. The grass against the back of my house was bare in spots and there seemed to be erosion of the soil. Kyle responded to my request for an estimate very quickly. He is very much a gentleman and professional. He met with me and he suggested a variety of deer resistant, low-maintenance plants for the garden. Then he e-mailed a professional design for my approval. Wow! I asked for one plant substitution and he sent three alternatives right away. Some regrading was done and he added some stones which are so functional and attractive! Two full, healthy white pines were planted at the end of the property. The crew worked hard to complete the job. Very nice gentlemen! I was very impressed with the stunningly beautiful work that was performed. I am so happy with the transformation to the back of my house and the price was quite fair and reasonable. I would highly recommend Kyle to be your landscaper.

Kyle is the best! I had a mess of a yard that needed a bunch of cleanup, from clearing out 20 years of branches and underbrush beneath some pine trees to spreading a huge pile of mulch throughout the yard. He came in under another estimate I had, with better ideas for my yard. His crew was very polite and easy to work with, and they did an amazing job on everything. I'll be having them back every year to handle what I can't do myself!
