We went through numerous revisions with their designer. It was a pleasant experience. I found them to be very responsive and receptive to our concerns. They showed up punctually, for all estimates, and work dates. The foreman and workers were all knowledgeable, and really accommodating. While they were installing the beds, the designer was on site, pruning my perennial garden... for which I was not billed ;-) I am planning more work for them this spring and will follow up the review based on my repeat experience. Overall, a very positive one so far...

We were contacted by Kyle who was very eager to help. We discussed what we wanted and he promptly drew us a design that suited our taste and our budget. The work was started promptly on the day specified and went very well. All of the work was performed in the most professional manner. Additionally, we added on some work to the front of our townhouse and this was undertaken and performed very nicely including moving most of the plants to alternate and better locations and making a nice curve in the lawn to go around our tree. Kyle even came back on his own and seeded the lawn for us. We are so pleased with our new back yard and the great changes in the front. We will go back to this company in the spring for touch up and maintenance.

Claire came out and worked with us on the design and estimates. The work began on time and the workers were very professional, friendly and accomodating to our requests. Claire was available to answer questions, make adjustments and supervise as needed. The work was completed on time and to our satisfaction. We are very pleased.

I have used this company previously and requested the same person that I had before, Gretchen. She called and came to the house taking notes on what I needed done and offered several good suggestions. Gretchen came with an estimate within a week and the job was started and completed on the agree upon shedule.

Richard was very professional and made good recommendations but they were more robust than what our budget allowed and perhaps what we were looking for. The estimate took longer than other contractors but I believe it was because they took more time in looking at the details for the job.

It went fine. From the time I called they were out in there in a relatively quick fashion. I was very satisfied with the work that this business did.

When the bill came I was furious because it was so out of line and it had taken so long to do a small job. I went in to the boss and he said it was right. This company is not honest and does not know what good business practices are.

I inherited property that was a complete overgrown mess. When I called them, they came immediately to inspect the property, and then gave me an estimate of the amount of work and the cost. They did exactly what they said they would do in the amount of time they said. I was very satisfied with their approach and they kept in constant contact with me about the budget. I said "N/A" about the price, because I did not shop around. I felt their hourly rate was reasonable, and their reputation was what I was most interested in. I do not know what other landscapers charge. However, I am completely satisfied with the work done for the money I paid. I also decided the yard clean-up would be Phase I of a much more ambitious plan. I am contracting with them for further services for Phase II - the "beautification". We have discussed the options, and will be going with a multi-phased approach, based both on seasonal constraints and to ease the budgetary impact. I am very excited about seeing the plan roll out over time.

The only problem was the cost was about double two similar proposals we received from landscapers who are also highly rated on Angie's List. The A to Z proposal did not seem to be double the quality so we chose not to use them. AZALEAS TO ZINNIAS did not see the other estimates I received so there comment is based on information they didn?t have!

She also wanted to let me know that the plantings were guaranteed for one year and that they would be coming back periodically to check on the weeds that were sprayed because she was pretty sure that they would be coming back and they would need to be resprayed. Azaleas to Zinnias responded right away to my call, Claire met with me within a week, submitted a proposal in a couple of days and recommended changes to bring it within my price range, and then had the work done within a week of my accepting the proposal. It was a good design, freeing the inherent serenity of a cool shady yard from the shackles of its overgrown state. It is lovely.

I felt that Mr. Wike was very impolite and rude to a potential customer. If there was a fee for giving an estimate that should have been made clear in the beginning. I asked for the estimate based on the reports I found on Angies List. People who had used their company found the work to be good. I can not comment on the quality of the work since they did none for me but based on my experience this morning I would reluctant to get an estimate from them and I certainly will never call them again.

The landscape design is visually pleasing. The plants prospered and look quite healthy. I am very please with what they did.

Gretchen and her crew did an outstanding job. The thing that I like most about this firm is that they stick to their budget when they start to get close, they let you know and allow you to make no pressure decisions about how to proceed. In addition, the plant selections are geared towards plants that do well in the Baltimore area and provide food and cover for birds.

My initial call was returned within a few hours by Richard, the owner, within several hours. He actually drove by our house while I was out (on that same day) to check it out and give me an estimate. I called him the next morning and told him to go ahead and his crew was at our house the next day to begin the work. It took 5-6 men almost 2 days versus the 1-1 1/2 day estimate but there was quite a bit of clean up required and they were very thorough and professional about it. The crew who did the work were as polite and professional as anyone I have ever had work on any of our properties.

They did a really nice job cleaning up my garden. Their work is beautiful. They are always on time and the take great pride in their work. My garden fairly large and I have some difficulty keeping up with it. It's nice to know there is a company I can call to help me.

His quote was reasonable, and he made good on his promise to do the job within 2-3 weeks. His assistants did a fine job improving the soil, built a nice stone wall, and left the area spotless. My yard is now the envy of the block!
