AZALEAS TO ZINNIAS

Kyle came out on June 16 and seemed very knowledgeable. I had to email after a week to ask for the estimate. He did send one but it just went downhill from there. I would've hired him but I couldn't get a response from him. I understand this is a busy season but a quick email to let me know he wants my business and an approximate timeframe of when he might start would've made a huge difference. I have no confidence in a company that can't be bothered to return an email.

Kyle was great! Very attentive to what I was trying to achieve. We had some trouble getting the project started but that was due only to the many rainy days we had this Spring. They hadn't arrived when I left at 7:30, but when I returned home at 4:30, it was completely finished and looking awesome! I can't imagine how they were able to get everything done in one day! I am looking forward to using their services again this Fall for another large project. Kyle takes a lot of pride in his company and doesn't stop until you are completely satisfied! It is a pleasure to deal with someone who is committed to excellence.

Interactions were mostly timely. There was some confusion about the estimate because Kyle thought he'd sent it but had not, so I thought he was being unresponsive, but he really wasn't.

Planning started the end of April. Due to weather problems project wasn't started until early June. Kyle sent in a crew of 3 men (Brian, Matt, & Alex) and within 2 days completed the entire project. The results were beyond my expectations. The pride they took in their job showed in the finished product. Through out the entire project Kyle kept me informed and if there were questions would respond in a very timely manner. Even though it took awhile from planning to finish, it was a pleasure to work with such a dedicated group of individuals.

Kyle and his team did a wonderful job in two days. It's better than I ever imagined it could be. Everything moved quickly from initial meeting, to proposal, to finished job. He provides a clear, detailed design proposal. He came to my house a second time to discuss a change I wanted to make to the plan. It would have been done in less than a month had it not been for uncooperative weather. Kyle's team is very professional and our neighbor even commented about how hard they worked all day. What I appreciate the most is how Kyle really listened to me. All I had to say is that I wanted a cutting garden and he did the rest to pick the perfect plants for me. He also knew how attached I was to a few of my plants and he was able to incorporate them into his design. I will definitely call Kyle when it's time to re-do our front garden.

Kyle was able to provide me with detailed quotes and worked with me in scheduling the work. There was no timeline or cost pressure. He was very upfront with the cost breakdown and the rates were quite reasonable. His team was very professional at work and they cleaned up the place quite well. I am quite happy with their work.

Kyle was accommodating with his time to review the job and provide an estimate. The A to Z crew was punctional and professional. I highly recommend this company and will be using them again.

They were great. I was having a hard time getting responsive, reliable help and was running out of time for my deadline. I found Azaleas to Zinnias and heard back very promptly. Kyle was responsive and on time and really listened to what I wanted, and needed. This included being considerate to my deadline. The work they did in my yard feels trans-formative. I had a yard that was just mud piles and useless. They have created a space that I can work with, and enjoying being around. I choose AtoZ after getting 2 and 1/2 proposals, and ultimately choose Kyle/AtoZ because he provided a drawing, with proposed plants and shrubs with the layout he had in mind. And, when one of the aspects of the work was too expensive for my budget, he offered me alternatives. I was so pleased with the work, that I went back to them to build me a raised garden bed for the planting season. I didn't even bother to shop around. The bed they build is sturdy and I've very very pleased. I really would recommend them to anyone, and plan on using them for future projects.

Responded to non-emergency within two days - assessed issue, discussed options and ordered required replacements. Brian is great representative for organization. Professional, punctual, respectful - everything you could want in a service provider.

They did a very good job. The team arrived on time, did the job quickly, and cleaned up after themselves.

This was about a month ago, November of 2013 for $450. There was a very pleasant one that they gave me what I thought was a fair estimate. They off the work that they did to this area, came, were prompt, went right to work, did the work, were gone, half of the day, they did everything I ask them to do, and were very pleasant. They were efficient, pleasant, and economical. I will definitely refer them, I got a discount too, and to get someone who has integrity about their work, who does good work. It is a good thing, and I am very glad I joined, that they have the battle. You clean your home on, try not to do too many trial and errors.

Kyle, the owner is excellent. He is a professional just like his entire team. They are always prompt and aim to please. I plan on keeping them on for good and cannot say enough great things about them.

The meeting with Kyle for the on-site estimate was very professional. He was on time and listened carefully to what I wanted to do with the landscaping and even offered some suggestions of his own. It took about a week after that to receive the written estimate (after a phone call reminder), which wasn't terribly long. After agreeing to the estimate, Kyle said that he would be able to schedule me in by the following week, but due to a cancelled appointment, he was able to squeeze me in at the end of the week. The workers arrived on time like they said they would and performed the entire work in about 2 hours. There were 2 workers that showed up and one of them was very helpful in answering all my questions, including providing instructions on how to care for the newly planted perennials. After receiving the written estimate, all of the communication with Kyle had been through emails. Kyle is good with replying to emails and when he hasn't replied to an email after a couple of days, sending him a reminder email will almost get an immediate response with an apology. There were several email exchanges on plant choices and the communication through email was more than sufficient to get the job done. After the work was completed, and after a couple of months, one of the perennials died and Kyle graciously honored the warranty and had it replaced.

I had the same landscaper for years and unexpectedly, he decided to give up his business but didn't notify me until late in the season. My yard looked awefull...completely unmanicured and over grown. I didn't know where to turn, then remembered Angie's List. I researched landscapers and found Azaleas to Zinnias. I called and left a message. My call was returned promptly and I had an appointment with Kyle within a day or two. Kyle arrived on time and we walked through my entire yard going over what needed to be done. Kyle took notes and made a few drawings. Within a short period of time, I received the proposal and accepted it. Kyle had provided a drawing of both the front and back yards with names of shrubs, etc, that I could google. He also provided a written explaination of what we discussed to include, digging up dead shrubs, weeding, moving shrubs to a better location, as well as cutting out beds and laying mulch. When the project started, his staff was very friendly and professional. They worked well as a team and cleaned up after themselves. I was very satisfied with the end results...it looked like my home again. I liked their work so much I asked them to do a hardscaping project for me (which I also loved) and have asked them to do the Fall/Winter clean up for this year and will have them back next year for the Spring. When Kyle came out to give us an estimate on a landscaping project, we asked him to provide an estimate for the installation of a veneer stone for the back wall of our home. We received both proposals and accepted them. Kyle instructed us to research what stone we wanted and as long as he could get it, installation would not be an issue (it was nice to know we were not limited in what style, etc, of stone we could choose from). My husband and I found the stone we liked online and informed Kyle. Within a few days Kyle responded that he would be able to get the veneer although there was a price difference between his estimate and what we picked out. The difference was reasonable so we went for it. Once the stone was available, Kyle made an appointment to have it installed. His staff arrived on time and was very courteous and professional. They respected our home and cleaned up after themselves. The wall was completed in two days and was absolutely beautiful. We loved it so much, we are going to have veneer installed on the front. Thanks Kyle and staff. You can tell Kyle takes pride in his business!

It went GREAT! Kyle and his crew showed up exactly ON TIME... did everything promised and more. We asked that they cut back the bush more than was first done and they did so without any problems. They leveled out our front yard and seeded our lawn, within a few weeks our lawn has grown back and no one could even tell there was a fourteen and a half inch hole dug out there. We were totally satisfied, would use this company again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend them to everyone!

Three young men came on time and spent 5 hours putting new trees in. Were very pleasant, professional and answered all my questions and concerns. Would not hesitate to use this company and these men again.

The quality of the work and attention to detail is outstanding. Kyle and his team were absolute professionals. The end product exceeded our expectations. It has brought numerous positive comments and praise from all those people that see it. The work was done on the frame that we negotiated and everyone from A to Z we dealt with were professional. I would clearly do more business with A to Z.

I was incredibly pleased with the prompt service I received from Azaleas to Zinnias. The job was completed in less than a month after initial contact. The walkway looks great and has kept my new puppies from making a muddy mess of the back yard. The workmanship is stellar and the job is holding up very well. Kyle, the owner, was a delight to deal with. I highly recommend Azaleas to Zinnias.

Kyle is very pleasant to work with and reliable, he finished the job on a tight schedule. He communicates well and follows up on discussions. He was flexible with a plan change (enlarging the patio significantly)- after starting the job- and remained within budget. Kyle and his crew cleaned up the site at the end of each day.

Kyle came out to look at our yard and take some measurements to give us an estimate on a stone paver (Techo-Bloc) patio and also he took a look my UGLY pond that needed something. We got an estimate and sketch from Kyle about a week later. His design was good, and his price was really fair. He was professional and friendly, and he listened when we discussed what we wanted, and made informed and useful suggestions when necessary which I very much appreciated. We scheduled the work, they arrived when expected, and worked hard the whole time. All of the guys were very nice. Kyle's team crews were very polite, well trained, knowledgeable, and eager to discuss the status of the project or any minor issues I found. From start to finish, working with Kyle and his crew was a joy!

Communication with Kyle was very easy and he answered all my questions. I had a lot of them! He also came back out after the project was done when I had some additional questions. The work was done quickly and professionally. Their bid was right in the middle of 5 different bids--but we were most comfortable with this company after speaking with them. We would hire them again!

He said he was very busy and I did have to call and leave a message asking for the estimate. He did email the estimate as soon as I called and he also called me the next morning. It was okay because he knew that I had somebody else coming out to give me an estimate. He came promptly at the time he told me to do the estimate. He listened to everything I said very carefully. He made suggestions and took measurements and made notes.
