Description of Work: removed purple plum tree that was partially dead and also removed stump. prepped area and seeded with grass seed. also performed a spring cleaning,- mulch and trimmed our existing foliage along with adding 6 more plants to an area where plants were doing so well. Very pleasant owner and employee's, I will definitely be using them again.

Description of Work: They tore up my entire back yard which had been mostly planted and mulched. The poured approx 20x15 foot concrete patio and the balance of the yard had sod installed. | |Overall I am very pleased with the work done and would give a positive recommendation.

Description of Work: Removed old bushes and planted new ones along our driveway. Also graded and re-seeded approx. 900 sq. feet of our lawn at the end of the driveway. They did a good job of cleaning up after both jobs. Very pleased with the work they did and would definitely recommend A To Z. |

Description of Work: Late last fall I called Azaleas to Zinnias wanting to get the entire front landscaping of my townhouse redone in the spring, including the building of some low dry stone walls. Kyle came out and really listened to what I wanted and got back to me with some plant specifications, wall options, and then an estimate. The first day of spring he emailed me to see when I wanted to start. Between then and when we had scheduled to start, I also decided I wanted the back yard landscaping changed as well, and he looked at that as his landscapers started in the front and sent me an estimate for that, and they did some of the work that first day. All the men who did the work (2 for the wall & front; 2 others for the back) were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable and answered all my numerous questions. There was a little miscommunication about scheduling at one point, due mainly to all the rain we had, but everything worked out, and I am so happy with the results.

Description of Work: Overall, it went quite well. A to Z furnished a cost estimate in a vary timely manner. However due to scheduling and recurring inclimate weather, it was over a month before the actual work was begun. Once they got started the work was completed exactly as we had ordered and it was done in a very Professional manner. The work consisted of ground prep. & installation of approx. 80' of Techo-Bloc, Begik edge stones along the flower beds in the front and side of the house.They secured stones to match the other end of the house and the paver sidewalk installed by another company last year. Foot note: the other company's estimator adivised us that they "no longer accept any job under $10,000.oo so they would not be interested in this work"! Additionally, AtoZ connected two downspouts along the right hand side ot the house to underground drainage pipes under the stone and away from the foundation. The pipes were then joined to a central pipe which leads approx. 75' to a pop-up valve at the curb. In the course of burying the drain pipe(s) the workers had to contend with multiple underground "feed lines" of gas, electric, two seperate cable service providers, and massive amounts of tree roots. They did this with a minium amount of damage to the existing lawn surface. Foot Note: they did "nick" the neighbor's cable service fiber optic line. The A to Z owner/manager came to the job site to arrange for the cable's repair "on-the-spot"! At the completion of the job, the Owner/manager came out to inspect & put some final touches on the area around the pop'up valve and provided us with approximately 10 pounds of premium grass seed to over- seed the areas where the sod could not be recovered due to the extensive excavation neccessary around some of the tree roots,power, gas, and cable lines. That seed is/was of such good quality that thick grass in already pushing through the straw where it was planted. Except for the timely start of work, which can be attributed in part to weather conditions, I have been quite pleased with A to Z's performance on this contract, will definitely "sole source" them for any additional work, and have recommended them to anyone asking about the excellent work that has been done on our property.
