Description of Work: A&J did the wiring for our new home. Our design specifically included the need for extra breakers to later finish the basement and to wire the home for CAT6. The breaker box had no extra spaces and the CAT6 wiring did not work at all. Light fixture in the hallway were not supplied (until we won that argument). A broken fixture was left in the living room. Pendents in the kitchen did not match.

 + -1 moreService was unnecessarily prolonged. It took months to complete with many re-do's. Outlets were crooked and uneven. Pricing was high...they wanted $2000 to hang a simple row of LED stick on lights for a kitchen island. One of the owners worked extensively on our project and was courteous but his younger co-workers were brash and rude. They did not clean up after themselves..for instance when re-doing a switch plate they left plaster dust everywhere. I would not recommend use of A and J.

 + -1 moreThey were excellent, and they were actually very efficient at finding problems. They were pretty good.
Description of Work: We used A & J Electric Inc for electrical work. There had been a problem, and we had a surge protector burnout. It presumably saved the house from some of the surge, but it left a void which we couldn't track down. The electrician came, took the panel off, and looked at it. He told us we never disconnected the surge protector, and we said that was the problem.
