The crew was very professional and did an excellent job.

They started at 6:00 am & finished at 5:30 pm. No trash left site. Went thru yard with magnets to pick up nails. Price was in range (6000) very professional. I was very impressed with this company (family owned). The owner of the company was hands on!

An estimate was given, & accepted and the work was done. They were professional and friendly from the start except for my new roof. There was no evidence that any work had been done. They were new on time & the work was completed times no debris left behind!

Took over an hour to inspect roofing requirement and clarify our needs. Estimate included items overlooked by other companies. Finished job in two days as promised. Cleaned up afterwards. Great job! They are not cheap. This was the second roof they have done for me.

Welsh roofing provided a completive price and was able to muecr on schedule requiem. Provides expert advice on pat roof on storage area and advice on skylights and attic fans. Work ever was prompt and efficient and finished job in less then me day.

Welsh Roofing Company was highly recommended by a neighbor through the College Park Nextdoor online community bulletin board. Welsh had provided roofing services to several of my neighbors and each stated he was honest, professional and does excellent work. One of the neighbors had used his services several times over the past 20 years. I totally agree with their comments. I called Welsh--actually for a roof repair and removal of an attic fan. An appointment was scheduled to review the roof and give a proposal. The roof needed to be replaced rather than just make the repairs. He gave me the proposal and an install date was scheduled. He said the work would be completed in one day. The day before the installation I received a confirmation call and an arrival time was set, They arrived on time with a full crew. They worked straight through the day with minimal breaks. I was told there would be no debris (nails, roofing materials, etc.) in the yard when they left and there was none. Also, when the decking was removed, unanticipated repairs were made to the flat roof at no extra cost. In summary, I would highly recommend Welsh Roofing Company!

Came promptly to provide an estimate. Company is very busy. Had to wait quite a while to get my project completed. They arrived exactly when they said they would, finished the job in 1 day and cleaned up afterward. To date, I've found 2 nails and one tiny piece of roofing material. Welsh does a nice job of cleaning up after themselves and are very careful to lay down tarps to catch all the junk. The prior company who worked on my roof left countless nails and trash all over my property. Welsh even went the extra mile to ask me for some paint so they could trim out some areas that were recently painted that was part of the replacement effort. Said they didn't want me to have to have someone back out to take care of the painting. I don't know yet if they fixed my problem, but I suspect they did. I am not easily impressed and I would easily recommend this company again. If I had only one criticism, it was the slow communication on when to expect the project to begin. I attempted several times to contact the office support and get an approximate time frame so that I could make other plans. I rated the price a B because it seemed like a lot of money to me for 1 day's work. I guess when you are the best and one of few companies in the area who do copper work, you can charge what you want.

Welsh Roofing completed the job in one day and had the grounds clear of debris, couldn't ask for a better job!

Guys showed up early (as expected) and worked very hard non-stop, and had the work completed in about three hours. Owner of Welsh Roofing was there at the start and came back after work was completed to inspect and ensure work was satisfactory to us. It was!

What an outstanding business transaction from start to finish. Greg Welsh, the owner, came out to the house on the agreed upon date and time, thoroughly inspected the roof and attic, and gave us a written proposal on the spot. We considered two other roofing companies, but chose Welsh Roofing based on the company's reputation and Greg's no nonsense approach to the job at hand. Based on our many questions and his answers, it was clear that he knows the roofing business. Greg is also old school and scheduled the job based on our phone call acceptance of the proposal. Greg called on a Monday and asked if were ready to go on that Wednesday. We said yes and he and his crew showed up at 6:00am to start laying down tarps. In deference to our neighbors, they didn't start making loud noise until 6:45am. The crew of eight people completely removed the old roof, replaced six rotten plywood panels, and installed a new skylight and the new roof- they were done by 2:00pm that same day. When I got home from work, all I saw was a new roof and no physical sign that anyone had been there that day. The Welsh team was timely, efficient, polite, and hard working. I would definitely hire them again and strongly recommend them to anyone considering getting a new roof.

When Greg came to give an estimate, I was impressed by the questions he asked me. He was thorough about history of our roof, the unusual pipe and how he could fix it. My job was completed in one day and my home was very clean when I got home. My roof looks great!

The crew showed at 7 am and finished the roof at 4 pm. Everything was cleaned up. I appreciated the knowledge and honesty of the owner, Greg Walsh. He was less expensive too, saving us about $1,000.

Greg the owner did an excellent job on our roof replacement. The cost was very affordable and the roof looks awesome. It was a pleasure working with this company. I definitely recommend their services. My husband was impressed and that says alot.

Mr. Welsh was informative about the areas of the roof that required maintenance. Mr. Welsh completed the work timely and appeared to be thorough. My only concern is that I pointed to a raised shingle that Mr. Welsh assured me was not a problem. During the month of March 2015 (9 months later), high velocity winds dislodged that shingle and surrounding shingles. I have contracted with a roofer to perform work on the roof. There is no conclusive evidence that the shingles would not have been impacted if Mr. Welsh had replaced that one additional shingle. The work that Mr. Welsh performed on the ridge vents has proved positively impactful.

Excellent! Easy-going, yet professional and reasonable price. Mr. Welsh came to do the estimate and the job. He made many excellent recommendations to move downspouts, replace rotted wood discovered during the job, and correct lack of venting on an addition. Entire job finished in a day

Everything went well. The staff member took pictures and he sent them to me. I showed them to people who are more knowledgeable about this type of service and they said by looking at the pictures they did a good job. They cleaned up after themselves.

Truly a great experience from start to finish. I would recommend Welsh Roofing to anyone looking for new shingles. Purchasing a roof is not cheap and there are plenty of vendors from which to choose. We interviewed 5 different companies. All provided quotes for the exact same Certainteed product. Quotes ranged from $10,000 to over $20,000...can you believe it? Only two of the companies actually went on the roof prior to giving a quote. Greg Welsh was our third estimate and the first to put boots on the roof. He walked the entire area, listened as we described areas of potential water infiltration, explained the issues he had noted and how they contributed to the issues we described, and then reported on a few issues we were not aware of including a low area that would allow for pooling of water at our chimney and a fix his company could provide. He also noted some issues with the chimney itself and suggested an excellent brick person we could use to repair the area before the new roof went up. We chose Greg based on his personality, perceived excellent character, price, and the quality of a roofing job they had done for a neighbor a few months earlier. Lead time from contract to roofing day was around 3-4 weeks. Greg's crew, including his son, arrived at 7am and worked literally until after 7pm to finish the job. There were two layers of existing old roof to remove, then a number of rotted areas that had to be replaced. Greg's son, and I apologize that I have forgotten his name, spent a great deal of time crafting an extension from the roof across the chimney front, building essentially a mini structure that was flashed and shingled to shed water away from the area where it used to pool. Looks great. Everyone was pleasant, everyone worked like dogs, we couldn't be happier with the job. At the end of the day I tipped each worker for their efforts. Greg wouldn't take a tip...."You're paying me for the roof....that's enough." The next day Greg and crew were scheduled to do my neighbor's roof. Greg came by to give us our warranty papers. Then told me they had noticed some bad caulk around the windows of my dormer the day before and, if it was ok with me, they'd go up and seal the area...amazing. It was like having family work on our roof....family we actually like...

From beginning to end, everyone associated with Welsh Roofing was fantastic. The response time was quick, they were in constant contact about the process throughout and the finished product is great. They were punctual, efficient, professional - and friendly! I highly recommend this company!
