STONE & TILE WORLD

If I could give 6 stars I would! Stone & Tile World did and amazing job for us in 2016 when they outfitted our entire new construction home with various granite and quartz countertops. Goran Zukic in particular was incredibly patient and easy to work with. He explained the benefits and issues with all the different countertop options. If it weren’t for his sound advice, we may have made some irreversible and costly decisions when weighing the benefits of the different materials. Their prices were reasonable and they had a good selection. They also had an excellent network of other providers with even more selections. Their craftsmanship was beyond compare and there was NO rework! Everyone comments on how great everything turned out! Even more telling of this great company and customer service is an “accident” we had a few weeks ago when my daughter accidently broke off a corner of an irreplaceable granite bar counter. When I called Goran to see if he could help (nearly 3 years after we last spoke), he was so friendly and accommodating saying “these things happen…don’t worry, we can fix it.” Within days he sent Alvaro out to repair the counter. I cannot tell it was ever broken AND he did not charge for my accident. That’s the type of customer service you rarely see nowadays. I would definitely recommend Stone & Tile World and Goran’s team for any future business…a TRUE FIRST CLASS COMPANY!

Eddie at Stone and Tile World was fantastic! My contractor used him, and that's how I ended up going to him. That said, he was by far my favorite sub-contractor! He was extremely helpful from start to finish. He helped me sort through and think through the countertops I wanted, from the material to the color to the price. He answered my calls and text messages as I was standing in the warehouse trying to make my final decisions- always patient, kind and helpful. The guys came to measure and install the quartz- and got it perfect! When I called to tell him there was one little area (a couple inches) where it looked like the seal between the countertop and the backsplash was thinning, he sent his guy to redo all of it and make sure I was happy. And when one of the electricians scratched my perfect bathroom vanity granite, he sent his guy to polish it until it was perfect. He is extremely personable, and values his work. I recommend him without reservation- great quality work and he went above and beyond.

We pre-ordered a slab of Caesarstone from Natasha; they came out to measure. I was honestly expecting one of those fancy laser measurers, but the gent just used a simple tape measure. It didn't matter; the measurements were perfect. The crew came by to install it. They set up on our porch to shave down a couple edges. I was slightly concerned that the fit wouldn't be perfect as we aren't using a backsplash or tiling around parts of the countertop, but the slabs were cut to very tight tolerances. We used Stone and Tile World on the recommendation of our remodeler. They were considerably less expensive than a competing, highly-rated Angie's List. We never visited the store--we knew exactly what we wanted--so I can't speak to that part of the experience. It's kind of odd to order several thousand dollars worth of materials from someone you've never actually met, but it worked out very well. I wish everything were this straightforward.

Counter top install was fine but the installer broke the water shut off valve for the sink, they took no responsibility to fix the problem. HD called the problem in and the installer came back out but made no attempt to fix the problem and reported it as fixed. My word vs the installer word, I had a friend fix the broken valve.

They were actually terrific. They were the ones who actually found the error in the measurements and that saved us a lot of problems. They did not put the countertop down saying that it was not going to fit. They stayed within our budget and did a really nice job.

The price was fine. The workmanship was excellent. They were very good.

Very good experience. Both the office people that I dealt with and the installers were very courteous and professional. The only thing I would say that didn't go well had to do with the fact that I purchased through Home Depot as opposed to going directly to this company. In the future I would just deal directly with Stone & Tile World.

We'd had a horrible experience with another company (see report on Best Granite & Marble) and our experience iwth Stone & Tile World was the exact opposite. It started at the granite wholesalers. The granite used on the botched job wasn't available so we had to select something else. We selected something that was in the low/average cost range. We were estatic becuase it looked so much more expensive than the other. Turns out, it was mislabled and it was actually on the high end. Goran was able to work a deal with the wholesaler and although we paid more than what we had for the botched granite, it was doable. Everyone showed up when they said they would, their measurements were spot-on, they removed the botched granite without damaging anything (I had also signed a liability waiver) and quickly and efficiently installed the new granite. The difference between the two installations was amazing. The difference in fit and finish were incredible. Stone & Tile World did it the way it should be done.

These contractors were arranged for and paid by the general contractor for the job. They did a fantastic job with the patterned tile on the tub surround and it matches the larger tiles they applied to the floor, complimenting it well. The grout is colored and done very professionally. Their clean up was wonderful and I recommend their work.

Sink measurement first off by several inches which left us without a countertop while sink top was redone. Overhangs done at 2.25 and 1.75 (which we were left with). They scheduled appt for remeasure but never showed or called.But that was minor. Within first month, granite showed water marks, ring marks and other indistinguishable marks (@ 28 at 1st count). They resealed tops twice, once leaving us to physically remove the sealer the next a.m. Spots not only still visible before guy left the house but he created yet more streaks and marks. Called Stone/Tile World office mgr twice but she doesn't bother to return calls. Terrible, terrible experience. Several very stressful months of trying to resolve this disaster and they couldn't care less. Poor quality product, poor service and absolutely no customer service or responsiveness. Can't even bother to return a phone call. And our entire kitchen was redone based on these counter tops that now - one way or another - WILL be removed.
