Siles Remodeling LLC

We contracted Siles Remodeling LLC to remodel a small bathroom and build a master bathroom and closet out of an existing room. In addition we needed some wall patching and electric work in a small bedroom adjacent to one of the bathrooms. The work involved, demolition, tiling, plumbing and electric work. Only the two bathrooms were completed through a very painful experience. A job that should have taken a maximum of 6-8 weeks, took 5 months and was not finished properly. The only job that was properly done was the tiling. Everything else has problems, lights do not work properly, showers do not work properly (hydrostatic shocks every time you switch the valve) and a brand new toilet gets clogged every time you use it. The experience itself was a nightmare. Appointments were never kept (with the exception of the tile workers), phones were never answered, and the project manager was showing up 1 hour late at appointments, showing up very rarely to supervise the work and lying constantly. The most unprofessional experience ever. Will never hire them again and will strongly advice anyone that asks not to hire them.

After calling three times, managed to talk to a person who scheduled an appointment for 6PM on a weekday for the owner, Mr. Siles, to come out to the remodel site to look at the scope of work for an estimate. On the day of the appointment, while in a meeting, received a call from the office manager and called the office right back to check if there were any schedule changes. Nobody picked up again, and I left a voicemail asking to call back if anything changed. Nobody returned the call. I waited on site for 30 minutes with Siles's cell turned off and nobody picking up at the office - as usual. Apparently the office manager left a voicemail the first time he called changing the appointment to the next day, same time, but it was not delivered by my cell carrier until much later in the evening. Attributing it to an unfortunate mix-up, called the office again asking to reconfirm that Siles will be at the site on time the next day. Never heard back. Waited again for 30 min at the time indicated by the office manager, called and texted Siles' phone, called the office, but they both sent my calls to voicemail not even having the courtesy to confirm that they were not showing up. Very unprofessional, very rude, very disrespectful. I hope someone stands them up like that a few times too to teach them a lesson about the value of other people's time, and simple decency. On the positive - glad that I learned about dealing with this company when I did, as their work is likely to follow the same unprofessional pattern of no show-ups, lies, and commitments not met.
