Sam'S Decorating

Sam did a fine job painting the house. We also employed him a couple of years ago to paint our condo. He is very careful with our possessions when he moves them. The quality of his painting is high. He takes direction very well when I identify areas that I would like to be touched up or changed, and he fixes them without complaint. He obviously strives to make his customers happy. He also helped us pick out a better color for one of the rooms where we weren't pleased with the color we had selected ourselves once it was painted. He repainted that small bathroom for us (but please do not abuse this very nice man's goodwill). When he got sick, it was a bit hard to get in touch with him and that slowed the job, but I think that's understandable. Everything looks great. Also, his prices are very reasonable -- far less than we paid other painters during a home renovation. Inside he painted our living room, dining room (with different colors above and below the chair rail), a bedroom, our hallways, doors, and trim. Outside he painted our front door, lintel, and shutters (including second-floor ones). He matched the colors well. Sam is likable and we recommend him.

I have used Sam earlier also for whole house interior painting a few years back. Sam is very thorough in his work. I had got quotes from few other vendors, but Sam's was the best price. Apart from the price the confidence I got talking to Sam was great. He can to my house and inspected the work. He took some time to estimate and calculate and gave me a written quote. He applied no pressure, but asked me to check things out and if I liked his quote, he would be happy to work. He told me that he used Benjamin Moore paints, (which I know is one of the better ones). So after some days I gave him a go ahead. The nicer part came after that. Once Sam started the work, he and his team was meticulous in all the work they did. If there was something small I saw that I had forgotten to tell him about, he went ahead and did it without trying to negotiate a few extra dollars. The quality of his job was outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
