+ 0 moreMr. Val Pires and crew did a wonderful job. He was one of the few contractors who immediately understood the grading problem and offered solutions. He was very honest and upfront and provided quality service. He and his crew were very punctual and knew what they were doing. Even more impressive is that Mr. Pires was present on site and worked along side his men to make sure everything was done to his satisfaction. He offered suggestions on how to improve the look of the flagstone walkway which turned out to be much better. Upon completion, the men cleaned up the yard and replaced everything to its original location, and planted grass, so that no additional clean up was necessary.
Description of Work: Had a long standing problem with rain coming into garage causing a severe crack. Driveway sat higher than garage floor. Also, flagstone walkway had loose tiles and mortar joints were falling apart. Work entailed cutting and removing cracked cement garage floor and driveway and replacing flagstone walkway with new flagstone with brick border. New concrete was poured and graded such that rain flowed away from the garage. New flagstone walkway was installed in a more decorative pattern.
