They are the best. I wouldn't use any other locksmith

I contacted this locksmith and had a phone conversation about the work I wanted done. I also sent 2-3 text messages, but they never replied or called me back.

Everything went very smoothly. The call to schedule the appointment was handled very professionally. I scheduled the appointment and they arrived right on time and did the work very quickly and efficiently. I would gladly recommend them.

Rockville Lock and Safe is does excellent locksmith work! The 40-year-old mortise lock of my front door would not lock shut when it was closed from the outside. Steve removed the mortise lockset from the front door, checked all the moving parts, fixed a broken spring, lubricated all the parts and then put it back in the front door. This beautiful, old mortise lockset now works like a dream! Steve also repaired my broken mail slot hinge (he had to take it to his van and use a special tool to squish both ends of thin metal rod that supports the hinge.) He also installed a new brass knob on my outer storm door, to replace the busted one. I've used several locksmiths in the past. Steve is the best. He's been doing it for more than 35 years.

They always do a great job

Called 3 vendors in the area to get quotes to change the locks (total of 5 cylinders) on a new house we just moved into. Steve had the best price and good reviews. He was able to come over the next day and arrived promptly. Upon inspecting the locks we had, he discovered that the installation of the existing locks wasn't done properly. He stayed to fix each lock so that it closed properly and didn't charge us extra for the time. He said to consider it a moving in present. Great customer service, our locks operate smoothly now and we rest with the knowledge that we have new locks and that they're done properly. Thanks Steve!

He was quick and so nice and informative. He lubricated another lock for me at no charge. I called on a Monday morning at 8 am and he was there by 10am.

Went very well. Was pleased with coming on time and discussion on back door locks. Neat. Was especially pleased with how they came back that day with the lock best suited for my needs.

Our deadbolt was in bad shape, we had to use pliers to get the key out this morning. We called at 1pm, they said they could come out the same day to re-key it, and they did. Quick, fast, reasonable price. They were great.

We used them to re-key our new house. They came out, the serviceman was about 10 min early (so we didn't have to wait around, which was great), he performed the work quickly, did a great job with everything. We could not have asked for a better experience. They did an A+ effort and if we need to use a locksmith again they will be the first company we call.

I called on Friday and arranged an 8:30-9:00AM appt. Technician called Monday at 8:30 to clarify street name (it was incorrect on his sheet) and arrived 20" later, well within arranged appt. time. Steve K. was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He spent quite a bit of time taking out and repairing the locks, realigning the doors, and reshaping the latch-holes in the wooden door frame. Every bit of sawdust and/or dirt was cleaned up and removed. He told me that if I had any further problems, I should call the shop and they could order new interiors for the knob locks or the deadbolt. (I really don't think that will be necessary, as they are working quite well now!!) I thought the price was quite fair, considering all the work he did. He was a really nice and competent guy!! I would not hesitate to use this company again. One work of advice: He told me that some other company copied their name, but inverted it so that it reads "Rockville Safe and Lock", and they are apparently not a quality company!! So be sure you look for "Rockville Lock and Safe".

Steve was on time, and was thorough in changing the locks. He gave me some safety suggestions.

I liked him very much. He was very helpful and talked me through the options that we had. He helped me figure out how to do it the least expensive and safest way. His name was Steve and he was very personable. I would absolutely use him again in the future.

Making an appointment was easy. The price quoted over the phone was what I was charged. I made the appointment several weeks in advanced and the company didn't forget and arrived when expected. Serviceman was friendly, did a good job, and was helpful, giving advise on another lock I was having trouble with. He advised (truthfully) that replacing lock was not the issue and explained what the problem was and advised who I should call to fix my door. I appreciated his taking the time to explain what the problem was and for being honest and professional.

Very well. Showed up on time and performed work, as requested.
