We did a phone consultation and I filled out a form listing the rooms and furniture that we had, we had to change the move date and they were very flexible with that. On the day of the move, they showed up about 2 hours late and immediately told me that they were going to need another guy to come out because it would take too long to move all of the stuff we had. I was paying by the hour. I called the headquarters and they were very responsive but unable to help. So I ended up helping them load the truck. At about 2 pm, I heard the foreman say that he wanted to stop and eat so they needed to be done soon, then shortly afterward he told me that they were not going to be able to fit all of my furniture on the truck so he asked me what I was willing to leave behind. I was pretty shocked, but I said that they needed to take all of the big items since I couldn't fit them in my car. I set aside somethings that I could come back for since my car was already packed full, and I let them know what I expected them to bring. Then I left to bring the load of stuff in my car to the new house and meet a furniture delivery man who was waiting. The movers showed up 2 hours later with nothing more loaded on the truck than when I left them. Again, I called headquarters, and they told me to just send the movers back for the rest of the stuff. At that point I was worried about my items being damaged because I witnessed them throwing boxes down stairs and kicking my bike over. I decided to just do it myself. I had to disassemble a desk but I was able to fit everything into my minivan, so I am pretty positive that they could have fit it on to the moving truck but they just didn't feel like it. After the whole ordeal, I asked if they could credit me some money back since they promised a certain level of service and too move all of my things and they didn't, and they offered to take one hour off the bill. I would not recommend these movers.

the sales person was not courteous, and beware of hidden costs, they will tell you one thing and the quote would be totally different. be sure to read the quote before the move, otherwise you will be totally shocked by the bill, just as i was. For a afew things in a move of 10min distance, the price was preposterous. The movers themselves were pretty good and professional. Personally i would not encourage my friends to use this service.
