Rocket Rooter (Tim) came quickly and stayed until my disposal was fixed / cured. He was here almost 2 hours, making sure everything was 100% when he left. it was very spectacular service, I will always call Rocket Rooter if another problem arises.

Unplugging the drain went smoothly, no complaints, and I was happy that they were able to come out the day before Thanksgiving to service the tub. The plumber was very nice. He gave us bad advice, however, on the toilet. The toilet wasn't flushing and he told us that it was because the channels that take the water from the tank into the bowl were clogged, that there was nothing you could do once that happened, and thus we had to get a new toilet. (To his credit, he did not then try to sell us on Rocket Rooter installing it, saying that they'd be happy to but we could likely do it ourselves if we wanted to save the money). That didn't seem like a good explanation to me and I quizzed him repeatedly on his diagnosis, but he stuck firmly to it, saying that the previous owners of our house might (we've only been in the house a year) might have used tank fresheners that got clogged in the channels. We didn't find any evidence of that when we moved in though, and, once he left, instead of shelling out a few hundred dollars for a new toilet, I played around with it more than I had before calling a plumber. It turned out that the water level in the tank just needed to be raised by a centimeter to give the water more pressure to flush. The toilet has been working fine since then. This wasn't a bad experience overall, but if I had followed their advice, I would have replaced a perfectly good toilet and be out a few hundred bucks, so next time I'll try somebody else.

One gentleman came and it took a lot of work and a lot of effort to get it open. I was watching him and he could have stopped at various points and I would have thought that it was corrected but he kept digging further and further and further to make sure that it wasn't still partially blocked. He was upbeat and polite. The price was reasonable and it was fair.

They quickly solved the problem of a laundry room drain clogged with blockage. It only took a few minutes and was accomplished with a metal wire. The price was very expensive for the work actually done, as I had expected a pump or vacuum would be needed. If I had realized that this was such a minor problem, I would have done it myself. Since this was a fixed price quote, the hourly rate was astronomical, so I will not use a fixed price service like this again.

Perfect. Solve my issue for $2500 less then another quote by simply replacing a 3 foot secion of pipe rather then the entire pipe drain.

When I called to schedule the appointment, I asked Doug how much a main line clearing would be and if there would be additional charges for coming on Sunday. He said the price depends on what needs to be done and that their rates are the same on Sundays as other days. Had I known the minimum for a main line clearing was $429.00, I would not have lined up the appointment. If the job would have required a lot of work, I could understand the price. But 5 minutes for setting the appointment, 30 minutes of work, and, say, 45 minutes of travel, equal 1 hour and 20 minutes. Over $250 per hour is too much for a straightforward drain job. Lucky he didn't have to remove the toilet. Then it would have been over $600. I suppose I could have said no to the quote and let the guy go to next job, but then, as I understood, I would have had to pay a $55 fee. I went with the high price this one time because I did not want to have to start from square one again. Rocket Rooter's service hours are good, but their "flat rate" pricing is not for me.

Rocket Rooter was great. They were out here almost immediately. It was something easy to fix. I had someone else out already to look at the issue. Rocket Rooter was able to determine the problem immediately. He used a snake to clean out everything and stayed until he knew it was cleared completely. He checked all the toilets for us. He took care of everything for us and the price was reasonable. He did a lot of work while he was here. He was knowledgeable and talked with me in a manner that I understood him completely. I am so pleased with them that I will have them out to look at another plumbing issue. I would not call anyone else.

I called the company a day in advance for an issue with a leak. The plumber came and decided after spending considerable time (testing to see where the leak was coming from) that the issue was with the grout and the toilet (old seal). He said that he could take care of it but it would cost $233 for resetting the toilet and then another $100+ (cannot remember the exact amount) to caulk the grout. We decided that it was way too expensive to have him do this so we went ahead and did it ourselves. However, for the future, if we do have a much more serious issue, we would go again with this company since they do have a straight cost sheet and no hassle. We just felt that this time for this issue this was too expensive. Other than that, the experience was very pleasant.

Sewage was coming out of our showers, sinks, and bath tub. The toilets bubbled when water was turned on. We had a major clog! Rocket Rooter put a camera down the main sewage pipe and found a drywall screw and a large nail in the pipe. The system was clogging because sewage was catching on the screws. The screws were drilled into the pipe when NATELLI HOMES and their contractors HMS drywalled the kitchen ceiling at an earlier date. The screws created a lot of damage and a major clog in the sewage system. Rocket Rooter was professional and they quickly found the problem. Later, a different plumber removed the side of our house and replaced the sewage line.

I called Rocket Rooter at 4:30 on a Monday to say that the toilet in my basement rental apartment was backing up and there was sewage coming up in the apartment tub. The plumber came the next morning. There was some confusion with the main office as to exactly when he would arrive within the three hour designated time period, but when he showed up around 10 he finished clearing the mainline within about two hours. At an additional small fee he also snaked the sink and toilet when it was noticed that they drained more slowly than they should. I was very pleased with the professionalism of Rocket Rooter, and with the thorough clean up when the work was finished.

What started as a small leak in the basement actually turned out to be an issue with a backup of the main drain. The plumber who was originally scheduled to do the work (Master Plumbing) referred me to Rocket Rooter, who they said, was the expert in this area. I contacted Rocket Rooter at 2 PM and they had Chris at my door at 3 PM. Chris was able to determine fairly quickly that the problem was a clog from clean-out of the main drain located outside the property line to the main sewer on the street. This, apparently, was WSSC's responsibility. Chris called WSSC, informed them of the problem and scheduled a WSSC crew to deal with the issue. When the WSSC crew arrived a few hours later, they informed me that snaking out the drain to the main sewer was not their responsibility. I called Rocket Rooter just after 6 PM, not really expecting anyone to answer my phone. I was surprised that Doug (who owns Rocket Rooter) not only answered my phone, but patiently spoke to the WSSC crew on-site, coordinated communication between the WSSC call center and the on-site crew and actually convinced WSSC that it was their responsibility to clean the clog. Doug was on the phone with me and WSSC for almost 45 minutes and saved me $600 in the process, which he could have charged me, if Rocket Rooter were to perform the work themselves. By about 7 PM, the WSSC crew snaked out the clog and everything worked out fine. I am very impressed with the way everyone at Rocket Rooter, especially Doug and Chris, handled the situation professionally and helped resolve the issue. Excellent experience, highly recommended.

Knew we had roots in our sewer pipe. Rocket Rooter arrived the same day we called. The guy was very nice and quoted us more than $400, which he knocked down to $320 because we found him on Angieslist! Most importantly, he took the time to explain our options and he solved our problem. I will definitely use Rocket Rooter again.

I was very pleased with the work. The servicemen arrived on time, and completed the job in a single day. The estimate was $2500 less than an estimate from another plumbing service, and the cost matched the estimate.

I called and told the office person the problem. She said she would call back as soon as she knew when someone could come. She called back within 15 minutes and said someone would be here within an hour. He did arrive on time. Started to work immediately, showed me the roots he got after cleaning my drain. Checked it out with the hose water and was finished. Told me what to try to minimize the problem.

I was calling various plumbing companies from Angie's list in order to get same day service. I was dealing with the kitchen sink clog for three days already. I tried various chemicals and gels. I tried homeowners snake (25 foot one), I tried the home depot rental snake (75ft) but could not get it around all the bends. I gave up and called my regular plumber, but he couldn't get in until Friday. Called JH Peterson, but they were booked all day, but they referred me to Rocket Rooter. I called around 8:45AM, and the helpful Customer Service lady said that all her guys were currently on call but can have someone to my location by noon, with service fee of $55 (which is lower than some other plumbers I tried). Richard came a little before 11AM, he was very quiet and professional. I explained what happened and what I tried, and I showed him the crazy pipe that the previous owner installed. He quoted me a price of $263 for kitchen line clearing (set price, from his price list) and I agreed and signed the estimate. Richard went and got his snake, while I cleared under sink. He then snaked the line, cleared it, and we filled up the sink and the line ran like new. He gave some advice on running the sink and garbage disposal to avoid future problems and I paid by credit card. The price was a bit steep, but since none of my attempts worked, I figured that this was money well spent. I will definitively use them in the future for any other plumbing needs.
