They did outstanding work. The job was difficult and they were very skilled. Also they were prompt, efficient, and cleaned up the area afterward.

This is the third project where we have used Rock Creek Tree Turf and Landscape. They were referred to me by a friend in the construction business who told me they were a top notch company with competitive prices.. This project went the same as the other two--everything from start to finish went extremely well. John Miller came out to go over the job and give us a detailed quote. The crew was on time, Nelson and his crew did a great job. Jimmy Lazas stopped by a couple of times during the day to ensure all was going well. We are pretty particular customers, and we have been extremely pleased with Rock Creek--we highly recommend them.

Tree removal was great. Then, I wanted for them to trim another tree as was agreed upon (with pictures they sent by phone). They did not provide the trimming that they agreed to and stated that they lost the pictures showing what they would trim. Very unprofessional. Make sure you save any pictures they send!!

I got Rock Creek Tree Turf & Landscape from a friend who uses them and was happy with their service. I was trying to get a quote for lawn care (fertilizer, lime, weed control, aeration & overseeding for 2019) as well as mowing our lawn and leaf collection in the fall and winter. I called and left message asking a quote for the services but I never got a call back after 2 days. So I called again to John's cell phone & to the office and again left messages. A couple of time I was able to speak to Tim at the office and once with John on his cell phone. They both said that they would go to our property and write up a quote for the services I wanted. Tim told me that John does all the estimates and would pass the messages to him. When I spoke with John, he tells me that they have been very busy with snow removal and other jobs and would get out to the property while the weather was going to be in the 60's to look over the lawn and what needs to be done so he can get me an estimate. After 2-1/2 weeks of phone tags with me initiating the calls each time and waiting for a quote, I told Tim to forget it and will go with someone else. I would not have bothered waiting that long if it were not my friend's recommendation. It must be wonderful to be that busy and I guess once you are a client, you have better luck with their responsiveness. As a potential new client, it has not been a good impression or start.

They didn’t trim the tree on their first visit, installed a crooked patio, and didn’t lay down tarp over the entire area (large plants were sprouting there after a couple weeks). After they tried to fix it, I let them know I was still unhappy with the result; from there on they just gave me the runaround. Lots of missed appointments, saying they’d call me back and then not doing it, and general vagueness about when things would get done. I wish I could say only use this company for tree-related projects, but they didn’t even do *that* right the first time. Very disappointed with the quality of work and the level of customer service.

Excellent service and work. On time, did exactly the work contracted for, cleaned up and it looked as though the trees had never been there. I have used them several times with excellent results each time. Several friends have also used this company with the same reliable results. Highly recommend.

I've used several different companies and the biggest frustration is that most of the tree removal people will not split wood. We have forest all around the house and we have a wood burning fireplace, so it?s really nice to be able to split the wood. I?m getting up there in age and I?m having back problems. I can't split the wood anymore. Last year in the fall I finally found a business that was willing to split the wood. It was $1,000 for three guys for a full day. I think that?s what I paid them. It was expensive. I happened to hit them at a time that they were low on demand, so they gave me the whole crew for one day.

The entire process was smooth and easy from start to finish. Chris performed the estimate in a timely manner and we were scheduled in turn, quickly. The 5 man crew who arrived were led by a terrific man, Nelson, and all crew members were extremely polite and conscientious about their work. The area they left from removal and trimming was quite neat and free of debris. They worked hard to remove even the finest sawdust left behind by the grinder. I would definitely use their service again and have already recommended them to several neighbors who have inquired about them. Thanks for such reliable, great service!

John Miller showed up on time and provided a very detailed estimate by the end of the day with pictures, showing exactly what would be done and where. His crew showed up on time and got right to work with the complete removal and stump grinding of one tree, and trimming of another. They took care of our property and left the job site in excellent condition. We would definitely hire them again.

John Miller is quick to respond to give an estimate or answer any questions. He and his crew are not only hard working but thorough, neat, considerate and conscientious. They show up on time and get the job done extremely well in a very timely manner. If you're looking for excellent top quality service this is the group to use. In the past several years I have hired Rock Creek Tree, Turf and Landscape to do spring clean up but also have had them replace a dead tree one year, and in 2015 after a major snow storm hired them to plow out our driveway, and this year we needed the turf work as well as the annual spring clean up. With every service we have been extremely pleased and recommend them highly.

I reached out to them to get a quote even before we were ready to have them removed. John came out, took photos and had an estimate to me within 48 hours. He was kind and professional. We received a discount for having all three removed at the same time (versus each on different days). The job was not small, we had three huge pine trees covering most of our backyard and brushing up against the house and roof. They again provided us another small discount for working around their schedule (in between bigger projects). The total for the work was not only reasonable, but beat out almost all the other quotes we received with above par professionalism and communication which indicated to me they would be professional and diligent with the work. It was an all day job, and they came early, had everything done neatly and professionally, and provided entertainment for my toddler who was fascinated by their big machines. I would use them again for any future tree removal needs, and have referred them to a couple friends. Great work at a very competitive price- what a purchase! The only complaint I have is that they did knock a couple boards loose on our fence. They did hammer them back it, but not well, as our dog escaped through the panel they 'fixed' and we needed to replace the panel.

I was very impressed all around with the professionalism and skill of this organization. To begin with, the owner made time to meet with me to prepare an estimate after normal business hours on the same day that I called him in order to accommodate my schedule. I was very apprehensive about this project given the proximity of these large trees to my house and also because the trunks were only a few feet away from a new fence. The owner understood my concerns and personally supervised the work. The crew arrived promptly and they worked carefully and neatly, completing the work in only 2 days, when other companies quoted 3-4 to complete it. The crew was very skilled with climbing, saws, ropes, etc. and no collateral damage was done to my own property or that of my neighbors. Overall, I couldn't have been happier with the quality and customer service I received and for a very good price.

The crew was on time, finished on time, were pleasant, had great attention to detail and were very thorough. The owner came out to look everything over and we are asking them to install another bed between us and our neighbor.

Spoke with John a just after New Years about removing some trees. He explained the process and took pictures of the tree that were to be removed. I had a quote that afternoon via email. In quote explained about the type of tree I was having removed and a detailed price for each tree. The email indicated that once I OK the quote that they would be out the next week to remove the tree. The trees were removed on Wednesday the very next week and the grinding was completed a couple days later and the clean-up was completed just this past week (1/13-15/14). Did they did an outstanding job to my satisfaction. I am on their list for snow removal, as well as mulching and weekly mowing of my lawn. I do have plans for other garden/yard project that I already mentioned to John. I even recommended Rock Creek Turf & Landscape to my neighbor who has been looking for someone to take care of his lawn as he was unhappy with the company he was using last year. I highly recommend John and his crew for all garden/yard projects.

The overall experience was outstanding. Mr. John Miller took my call and arranged to meet with me to discuss what I would like done in the yard. I was immediately put on the weekly mowing schedule in fact they came out the next to mow my lawn (2 acres). An estimate was emailed to me regarding the items I wanted done within 24 hrs for which I approved. This past Saturday a crew of about 6-7 men were are my how early complete the weeding, mulching, move mail box, spraying, taking down tree, picking out branches, and fixing around the light post. They were extremely efficient and professional. The whole process took about 4 hrs to complete and my gardens look amazing. I can't say enough about how great my yard looks and the tremendous job that was done. I plan on using for other yard projects that might come. My neighbors even commented on how nice the lawn look and one of the neighbors is considering of using Rock Creek Turf and Landscaping service. I highly recommend this company.

We appreciated very much the incredibly quick response of John Miller, one of the young co-owners of the business. Every time we contacted him via email we received an answer within 30 min. The team of 6 arrived on the agreed upon time, was very courteous and professional. We also appreciated their extreme cleanliness and careful work. The work took 1.5 days (as had been indicated). When it came to choosing the new trees, the team leader texted an image of the trees to our phone--something we appreciated very much. All in all, a great experience. I highly recommend this company and will invite them in the future to give me an estimate for garden jobs.

We had an excellent experience with Rock Creek. John Miller immediately responded to my e-mail inquiring about service and set up a time to provide a free estimate for the yard work we sought. He arrived punctually at 7:30 am. His estimate was the lowest of the three companies from which we received estimates. The work was outstanding. It was completed in a timely manner and looked great.
