+ 0 moreIt went great! This contractor really new their stuff. I have really bad allergies and some repiratory problems so I was very concerned that a contractor I got would leave something behind or make the problem worse. I was pleasantly surprised when they did neither of those. They were very thorough and I thought had very good customer services especially for the type of work that was being done. I have already recommended them to the neighbors down the street who think they might have a mold problem. Very good job and very responsive!!
Description of Work: We noticed green and black spots on the drywall in the basement. We never go down there and didn't realize that water had seaped in after the snow melt. We called Residential Restorers because they were referred to us from our insurance company. They did mold sampling to determine how bad the problem was and also used moisture meters and a really cool infrared camera. They gave us an estimate for the clean up and then they began right away. They set up plastic so the mold would not spread and they removed the drywall, treated the entire area and dried out the framing. This was near the furnace and they thought it prudent to clean the air ducts as well. After everything was complete they did more testing to make sure the mold was all gone.

+ 0 moreWe had a pipe that had been slowly leaking and all of a sudden burst. We called Residential Restorers and they came out right away to take a look and start the work. They had to get the wet insulation out of the wall and when they did saw mold growing in the wall. They notified the insurance company and proceded to remove all the mold and dry everything out. They even cleaned the air duct system. They were great and billed our insurance company directly. Great over all experience for what it was. I would highly recommend this contactor.
Description of Work: They dried out our basement, removed moldy drywall and carpet and cleaned and treated everything including the air ducts.
