It started in May and I still have 4 windows to go on a 13 window replacement total. They have worked really hard to satisfy me.

The sales rep did a great job. Of course I had totally underestimated 1) the quality of these products versus others and 2) the price! I am seriously considering this company. Will update the review as I go through the process. He did meet with me understanding that I was the only homeowner available for the discussions. My only original complaint at this point is the attitude of this company overall in trying to insist that "all homeowners" be present before agreeing to come and give a quote. That is ridiculous! I have called four other companies and have made arrangements to have a sales rep come and give a quote. Not one of the other companies tried to tell me they wouldn't come unless "all homeowners" were present. I almost hung up the phone when the service rep / appointment setter tried to tell me they "required" this! I work from home and I am the one whose money will pay for this and I will make the selection of a vendor for this project. In fact, I told the sales rep on the phone that if that is their requirement, we could just hang up the phone and end the conversation. The rep asked for time and I suppose checked with a supervisor and then agreed to send a sales rep for the free in-home quote. I work from home and my schedule is more flexible than my husband's who travels for his employer and is not free to review these types of services. I am familiar with home repair services and will oversee the work by the vendor I choose. The rep was polite and well-spoken, so the problem is not with the rep. The problem is with the company's nationwide policy.

I should have hung up the phone when they insisted on both my husband and I being there for the estimate - this is a high-pressure sales tactic. Although our salesperson was not high-pressured, I usually find a high-pressure company = high prices, and this was certainly the case. Additionally, we were requested to reserve 60-90 minutes for the estimate. She was definitely here at least 90 minutes, and we really hated that we had wasted so much time on completely unaffordable windows. We were crystal clear from the beginning with our salesperson that we were likely not going to replace windows until the fall, but we wanted to get an idea of price so we knew how much to set aside between now and then. She was really respectful of this and did not pressure us to commit. She was actually really nice and we liked her. But, I nearly fainted when I saw the estimate! Most of our estimates have been in the neighborhood of $7,000 for replacing our 11 windows, but the "sale" price from Andersen was $15,000, with the regular price being $20,000! I have no doubt that these are high-quality windows - my parents' house, built in 1974, has Andersen windows that are still in good condition, which is why I was motivated to call them in the first place. However, there is no way that we would spend that much on 11 windows, especially when we have had estimates from other reputable companies for less than half their "sale" price. Updated to add: Don't contact this company if you don't like junk mail! I have requested removal from their mailing list three times, but we STILL get mail from them. We have long since replaced our windows with another company, and now we're left even more annoyed at this company.

They were very professional and had very good products. They were very accommodating. I was not living in the home and they were even willing to come out to my old residence to review everything and give the quote and they gave me the quote within 72 hours. They came out and did the windows immediately.

I really didn't think about using Andersen Renewal but I needed another quote on replacing 2 bow window units. Spending $17K is a lot of money so I wanted to make sure the quote I received was competitive. I was sure the Andersen quote would be more but it was about $800 less and they could do the work in one day instead of two. The Andersen crew was very prompt and completed the job on time. The quality of the windows is outstanding. We will definitely get a quote from them when it's time to replace our other windows in a few years.

This was an excellent experience. The best experience I had working with anyone. They were a little on the pricey side, but it was fair considering the quality of the windows. They came out, did the measurements and the price quote the same day. Once the day was scheduled, they got all the windows installed the same day. Once they were done, they did a great job with clean up. I was even able to keep my old windows. They are just amazing.

We interviewed four or five contractors. Andersen was not the cheapest but it had what we considered the highest quality product and windows that were most suited for our glass-filled contemporary home. And it was willing to come down on price to get our business. Andersen did something none of the other contractors could do -- installed frameless windows in the picture window slots -- a new technology -- because we did not want to diminish the glass space and sleek look by inserting ugly, thick vinyl frames. The original windows had no frames, but only a thin wood lining that ran around the perimeter and held the glass in. Andersen carpenters exactly replicated the original wood lining after taking out the old windows and replacing them with double-paned, highly efficient plate glass windows. It seems like a miracle, and in fact, some of the other contractors were questioning whether it could even be done. They also helped us pick a smashing new look for our front door. The company's products and services are excellent. They could have been more communicative about details of how the windows would look both outside and in, but overall we're very happy with windows that are noticeably beautiful and much quieter, more efficient and easier to care for than the original single-paned windows in our 1960s home.

Larry the sales rep was great. He was kind, knowledgeable and honest. I loved that he didn't try to talk us into 5th but gave us great advise on products and cost savings. Sebastion the technician was super friendly, kind and did an outstanding job with his team.

The installation went very smoothly. The crew arrived on time, and completed the job in just over a day and a half. Workmanship on the installation looks good. Both the interior and exterior mess was kept to a minimum. The crew handled the most challenging aspect of the install, the removal and installation of a large, heavy picture window in our two story foyer, expertly. Overall, we are quite pleased with the new windows.
