PRESTIGE FLOOR COVERINGS

An absolutely spectacular jaw-dropping result. My original 1909 pine floors were so bad and now they look the the back of a cello. 1000% would recommend.

Lenin was very responsive and customer-service-oriented from day 1. At our request, he painted 4 different stains on our floor before staining it to give us a sense of what it would look like. We were also repainting our house (new house to us), and he held off on doing the final coat of stain/finish until after the painting was done which was his recommendation. (Our painter is a relative of his which made coordination easier.) When i had questions/concerns, he was highly responsive and flexible about meeting us when we wished. He also changed the date on which he'd do final coat 3 times at our request due to painting delays. My only complaint is that there were some faint paint smudges over which the final coat was put on by his team. He offered to resand down and refinish the couple little areas, but warned that we'd be able the lines due to the extra layers of stain/finish on overlapping areas.--We opted to leave as is.

Their pricing was very competitive. They were very nice and kind. They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They cleaned up all their mess when they said they were done. They were very respectful about being in my home.

We decided to have this work done in preparation for selling our townhouse in Greenbelt. We dealt with Lennie who was consistently courteous, professional, and flexible from beginning to end. I had second thoughts about which laminate to use way too many times for most contractors to handle graciously but Lennie always did. We ended up getting the laminate itself from a home improvement - but Lennie was helpful with advising us about how much to purchase, etc. He answered questions and re-arranged times for installing the new flooring when needed. He and the workmen who helped with the work did a fine job with the installation and always cleaned up after themselves. The job was completed in a timely fashion. Lennie also followed up quickly and professionally when a minor correction had to be made after the work was completed. The new flooring was beautiful! And I imagine it was one of the big reasons our home sold after only 6 days on the market!

They did decent work at a decent price. I would use them again, my floors look nice.

Good prices. Their service was prompt. The results were very good. I also liked that the owner is a woman who used to help run the business before the previous owner sold it to her. Very courteous. Ready to start fairly quickly after we signed the contract.

Very responsive company. Started the job soon after giving the estimate. Half the price of the estimate we received from another company. Very helpful in showing us stains that we tried to match to the ground floor color. Entire job completed in 5 days, which was the minimum time they estimated.

This was for a rental property and my time schedule for completing this job and others before new tenants moved in was tight. Prestige floors gave me various options and performed the job exactly when need, arriving on time and finishing early. I used them 12 years ago to refinish the floors in my own house and continue to be pleased with their work. They were half the price of another estimate I received, and estimator and workers were both pleasant and helpful. They even were able to remove some scratches, that we feared wouldn't be removed without a full-scale sanding. Excellent all the way around!

The person who estimated the job was on time and informative. She presented the proposal in a way that I found helpful and explained that the water based varnishes (recommended by other companies) would not work well on wood glued to concrete. The men who did the work also were on time, worked efficiently, and did a beautiful job. They scheduled the job over 3 days with a day for finishes to cure. The floors were all gorgeous and remain that way after about 6 months wear. The one complaint I had was that the workmen did not wipe hand prints off door handles and wood work when they were staining. And the dust from floor-sanding gets everywhere. We had to clean all curtains (the only thing in the house at the time) and vacuum the walls! Refinishing floors before move-in is a great choice if at all possible.
