Mike's Locksmith

He did a great job! I couldn't open an expensive piece of furniture. They key was not catching and other keys for the same piece didn't work. I had tried oils, sprays etc. and thought it was going to require an antique expert to fix it. I finally gave up and called Mike's Locksmith. He came the same day and opened it like magic. He also solved a problem with a lock on an outside door for me. It was all done in 15 minutes. I'm so happy!!

Mike was great. I called him to ask about getting my mailbox lock replaced and within 12 hours he came and installed a new lock. I highly recommend his services!

The service went very well. We made an appointment for the day after our first telephone contact, and Mike showed up on time. He reviewed my options for selecting new locks, provided a cost estimate for the ones I selected, and got right to work. He replaced all eight locks in about two hours and charged just what he had quoted. Mike's certainly a personable guy and clearly knows what he's doing. Very meticulous! I recommend him highly.

What a great company- wonderful, friendly, and patient! I flew home from a business trip and was exhausted when I realized at the airport that my keys were on my kitchen table and no one was home. I called Mike's Locksmith from the tarmac and asked him to meet me at my house to let me in. I was about 45 minutes later than I thought I would be due to traffic. He waited, let me into my house and replaced the lock. I threw him off schedule, but he went the extra mile to help me out! I'd recommend this company to everyone- it's hard to find someone this helpful now days!!

Not the chepest guy in town but very resasonable given the excellent quality service and products used. Excellent responsiveness and superb customer service. Willing to go extra mile in case of emergency.

Tricky job and he completed it quickly. Had an unusual knobset in stock which saved a lot of time and trouble ordering it. Very responsive! Not sure about locksmith service prices in general, but we were very happy and price seems reasonable for how difficult the job was.

It was a terrific experience - I called Mike's Locksmith in the morning, Malki gave me a firm estimate over the phone for the work I wanted done, and he was able to come out and perform the work the very same day. Malki re keyed four locks on two doors in my house. He didn't try to sell me any additional services and invoiced me for exactly the cost of the estimate. (Another locksmith had quoted me more than double what Malki charged to do the same work!) I deeply appreciate his responsiveness and professionalism; I will definitely call him again for any future work on my home's locks.

Everything seems to be working fine. There was a bit of a language problem, he was very nice, but I felt that he didn't quite understand what I was saying. However, he fixed it, he was on time for the appointment, and the price was reasonable.

I was a little disappointed in the price. Other than that, everything was fine. The price was $50 higher than what he quoted me. But otherwise, it went very well.

Appointment was quickly arranged for the next morning after talking with Mike's on the phone. They arrived on time, phong a few minutes before. Mike's approach to the issue was innovative, saving us time and money.

Mike responded the day a Big Deal was purchased for the locksmith initial visit and was able to come to the house the next evening. He quickly repaired the broken lock at a price less than a replacement lock would have cost.

Mike and his assistant showed up on time and promptly got to work. He actually was even there 15 minutes early. He struggle to get the door open to remove the broken mechanism so resorted to attempting to pry to door open and destroy the latch while it was installed in my door. This caused cosmetic damage to my door and frame. His final attempt, which upon doing more research into resolving the problem, was to remove the hinge pins. This was successful. After he finished he tried to convince me that I should change all the locks in my house because they weren't secure enough. I informed him I was not interested in that at this time. He then told me that the Angie's list deal I solicited his services was not applicable and the charge was triple that of the what the deal was. Upon my disapproval he knocked $50 dollars off the price. But I still felt like I was getting gouged, and this was a discomforting experience. One every consumer dreads.

It's the worse feeling to have when you suddenly slam the door shut to your house, and realize you've locked yourself out. To make matters worse, it's raining, cold, and your car keys are inside as well. This is what happened to be, AGAIN, twice now in the last five years. After walking a quarter mile to catch the bus to work, I decided to logo-on to my Angie's List account and search for a reputable Locksmith near my home. Mike's had the highest score of all locksmiths within a 5 mile radius so I figured I'd give him a try. His response to my online request for an appointment at the end of the work day was instant. On my way home from work I got a call from Mike saying he'd be at my house in around 15 minutes, which was great. That didn't leave me standing in the rain again, once I arrived at my house. When he pulled up and surveyed the front entry door, he asked if I had used the deadbolt or just the handset lock. I told him only the handset lock was used, so he explained the two procedures he would try, and the cost of his service. On the first attempt the door popped open without a hitch. I was amazed at how fast he could enter the door. Mike even suggested improvements to the locks used to prevent a future lockout. He will be recommended by me for excellent service to anyone who ask.

problem was in the warped door not the lock but adjusted lock to compensate. Works great. Took him 10 minutes.

The Big Deal price was just to come and look at the problem. Then he adds labor and materials on top to actually do the work.

Punctuality or lack there of is one of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to service calls, but Mike arrived right at the scheduled appointment time (and even a few minutes early). That to me is invaluable. The price for the services was fair - I had prepared myself for paying a lot more. In fact, I had planned to re-key the lock myself after the door was opened, but the cost was reasonable enough for me to have Mike go the distance. The work was performed very quickly. He was in and out in 30 minutes or less. Mike was very professional and polite and didn't try to sell me on the higher cost locks. This was a very positive experience and I wouldn't hesitate to use Mike's Locksmith again.

At this point we are waiting for him to return and install a new cylinder in our front door lock. I cannot give an opinion on the work until we get the repair doned

He showed up promptly at 1:00 and completed all work quickly. He was friendly and professional and was very patient with my dog! I would definitely use him again.

He was super, just absolutely great, and recognized the problem right away. He had to come back because I had ordered the wrong parts. When he came back he got to the job right away. He does not charge you twice if he has to come back. He is reasonable, punctual, and keeps his word. He works with your schedule and makes things less stressful in times of distress. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and if need be will absolutely use his services in the future.

We recently moved into our house and the previous owner had rekeyed the locks for the new buyer and they were crap (less than a month after moving in the front door deadbolt wouldn't accept any of the keys). I selected Mike's based on his positive Angie's list recommendations and wasn't disappointed. Called on a Friday morning and he came on Sunday (I work full time so I appreciate that he has extended/weekend hours). He didn't have exactly what we wanted on his truck so he made a trip to the shop to get it. Everything was finished in under two hours. Very pleasant and professional. We will probably upgrade one or more of the doors in the future, and he said he could return to remove and reinstall the locks when we do that. His fees may be a bit higher than others, but I view these locks as an investment - what's that saying about getting what you pay for?
