Mike's Locksmith

Called Mike's at 7am with request, very nice lady who answered phone checked with Mike & his staff & within an hour & a half he was at my house. Best part was that comes prepared with products, tools, options, etc. Mike gave me a couple of choices & once I decided it was installed. Works & looks great!

Great. Mike was able to come out the evening after we called, so we didn't have to miss work. He advised us of our options and the costs. He was able to replace the lock set immediately. He was, friendly and professional.

I called today (December 23) and was told that no one was available until December 27. That is unacceptable.

He was pretty straightforward with me about selecting a reasonable lock at a reasonable price. He was pretty honest with me and he was pretty fast too. It was a little expensive to me but I wanted a safe house. He was very fast and efficient. He seemed to know what he was doing. He was very responsive. He was definitely on time. I would definitely use them in the future. He was very reliable.

My family closed on a house last week and my first call was to Mike's Locksmith to re-key the locks. The experience was positive, efficient, and friendly. Upon inspection of the back patio doors, he found that one locking mechanism was broken and not secure. We rescheduled Mike to come back with a special part. It turned out another of the back patio locks was not functional, so he ended up replacing two locks. Apparently the previous owner cut corners in re-keying their locks. The new locks will last us for a very long time and Mike said to call if we ever had issues. Overall, I was very happy with the experience and glad to feel secure in our new home.

He warned me in advance that one lock was installed so that removing the cylinder could leave scratches, but was able to avoid that as well. I have used Mike's before with the same excellent results, and can't recommend him more.

The guy from Mike's Locksmith arrived at 11 am March 30, 2016. First he shot some WD40 into the key hole and tried the key again but not successful. He said that the lock should be replaced and he did. He had to cut the old lock from both sides of the door. He replaced the lock and it took him 45 minutes. He also made lock ready for the original keys. This was great no need to get extra keys.

Mike did an excellent job installing new locks at our house. He was friendly, on-time and worked in a timely and professional manner. I recommend him highly and would use him again if needed.

Mike advised us that mortise locks are very expensive to replace and we are very happy that he could repair our 1968 mortise lock to get several more years using this lock.

It was okay. They honored their "Big Deal" price. He did something that I probably could have done. I was asking when he could replace the lock. I got it to lock but I couldn't get it to unlock. He got in and took out the things. When I asked him about replacing the lock, he said "Oh well, I don't know if I could find that kind of lock. It could be too expensive." He bowed out on doing more. I was hoping he could replace the lock and put a better lock in to work. It's a little bit disappointing. He did solve the problem for the basic problem. It wasn't much as I was hoping but he gave me an honest answer.

He had excellent advice, which helped me decide what type of locks/keys that would best suit our needs. I had a number of ideas, and even though some of them were quite silly and uninformed, Mike was happy to entertain my ideas -- he listened and advised. not pushy at all -- in fact the opposite. Mike was prompt on the day. He did his work professionally and delivered superb products. I couldn't be happier with the key that I have (one key for all... perfectly safe and perfectly done).
