Madlin Mahdawi

Madlin helped us look for a house to buy for six months. She did not pressure us, and was dedicated to finding the right house that met our current and future needs. While she was punctual and flexible in showing us homes, we found it easier and faster to search for homes online on our own (e.g., using Zillow, Redfin, Trulia etc.). She was extremely responsive, and rarely failed to answer her phone when we called with questions or concerns. Madlin tries to insulate the buyer from all the stress and uncertainty associated with closing. For many people, this approach works well since they may prefer only knowing higher level details. However, since we're project managers, we asked to be more involved in the small details of the transaction. Madlin worked to change her approach to better fit our needs. The day before closing, the deal almost fell apart because the seller did not complete all the work specified in our contract. Madlin successfully and skillfully brokered a deal with the seller, seller's agent, lender and contractor to keep these issues from preventing us from closing on time. Overall, we feel she kept our best interests in mind throughout the process, and would go to bat for us when it really mattered.
