Excellent experience! Ferny was right on time to give me a fair estimate for some minor work to be done repairing doors, fixing drywall, and painting over it. We promptly agreed to his estimate and he returned just about an hour later to do the job (the timing worked for us). Ferny and Carlos exceeded all of our expectations: the work was flawless and fast, and they left the place sparkling clean. Another issue regarding a leak came up while Ferny was still in the house. Lucky for us, Ferny was willing to consult on the problem and provided a quick fix at no extra charge, along with suggestions on how to avoid the problem in the future. I would absolutely recommend Ferny for your handyman needs, and I'm grateful to have finally found someone to rely on for handyman work in DC.

Couldn't be happier. Mr Leal came to my home to give me an accurate quote. He showed up on time and was very responsive. His work was fantastic and he used high quality materials such as Aura exterior paint. They even offered to come to my current place to pick up the artwork and one of the light fixture and was able to get the work done quickly before I moved in. It's always a relief when you find a contractor who cares about the quality of their work. That is Mr. Leal. I hired him to rehang our exterior french doors that were poorly installed. It can be very difficult to find help for for small jobs, but Mr. Leal agreed. Needless to say, the doors now function perfectly. I was impressed for following reasons. His team was very communicative. My initial call was returned within an hour or two and he was scheduled to see me the next day. He and his colleague took care of my home. Not only did they fix the doors, but they were obviously very careful when doing so. They even vacuumed while sanding the doors. No trace was left of their work except for the perfectly swinging doors. Honestly, I think care for another's home is as important as one's ability to do the work. My strong impression is Mr. Leal cares that his work is well done. Hire him.

I was very satisfied with Ferny Leal's work. The reconstruction of our front door went smoothly and professionally. Leal works steadily, cleanly. His pricing was appropriate for the job. This was the third time I used his services. I will use him again.

When he came over to get an idea what needed to be done he gave me the price and told me that he would be available in th next 2-3 days. He called me on Saturday and was at my home within 30 minutes. Ferney oversaw a full renovation of my entire (small) bathroom. It was a complicated job and I had (unbeknownst to me at the time) selected an especially difficult bespoke floor tile, which ended up requiring enormous skill to install. Mr. Leal took the work exceptionally seriously, was capable, punctual, and completely reliable. He kept my small apartment clean throughout the job, and I felt very confident leaving him and his team in my home during the day while I was at work. While his pricing is not the lowest, I will 100% use his services again, and recommend him to anyone.

He's done a very good job. I find him reliable and does a very nice job. When he says he's gonna do something he'll do it. He works in a small group and he keeps a good eye on them.

Everything was done as promised. Quality of work was excellent, particularly the installation and tiling of a new bathroom floor.

The work went very well. It took longer than I expected, but that is because Mr. Leal and his crew do such meticulous work. My space had been bothering me for quite awhile with those unsightly nail pops. They are gone, and the ceiling looks amazing. The price was fair for the amount of work done, which included an unexpected light switch repair. Mr. Leal also did me a great favor, doing a quick fix to a longstanding problem with the freezer door on my French door refrigerator. Mr. Leal and his entire crew were very pleasant to work with: they left the site cleaner than it was before their arrival! I will definitely hire again and again for my many projects that need to be done around the house.

Ferney and his crew did an excellent job. They obtained the necessary materials, displayed a high level of care and craftsmanship in fitting and installing the doors and hardware, and left the work area clean. I would not hesitate to hire them again in the future.

Mr Leal messaged me quickly and set up a time to give me an estimate. He arrived promptly, and we after I accepted the estimate we were able to schedule the work the very next day. For the actual work he and his teammate did a great job, including laying down cloths to avoid a mess, and cleaning up after themselves very thoroughly with a shop vac. Mr. Leal was fantastic. His work was excellent and his price was amazing. One of the great things about him is that he goes above and beyond to explain what the issue is and how he proposes to fix it. I was very happy with the work performed by Leal Remodeling, Painting and Handyman Services. Ferney Leal and his crew did extensive prep work: power washing, sanding, caulking, priming, and replaced damaged wood. Finally, they painted all of the wood trim on the exterior of our home and painted the porch. Our house was looking a little worn down, now it looks first rate.

Ferney and his team did an excellent job of taking down old walls, replacing portions of the ceiling and walls, building new walls, and installing electrical outlets and switches. They installed new doors and molding and prepared the new walls for painting, including priming the walls. They took pride in their workmanship and on several occasions worked well into the night, to get the project completed as soon as possible. They provided professional recommendations to ensure that the end result was the best possible. They were professional throughout this project.

I called on a Saturday in June needing a kitchen exhaust duct replaced. The job was simple but somewhat urgent. The woman on the phone was courteous and Ferny came out the same day, at the end of the day, to give me an estimate. He extended his workday to do the job right then and there, after going to my local hardware store to pick up materials. He was friendly and professional, and got the job done quickly for a fair price.
