OMG. He is the best person that I have found on Angies List in fifteen years. Mr. Leal came and reviewed the work and gave a estimate. I waited a while because I thought the price was a little high. Since the problems did not get better on their own I had him come and do the work as well as a few new problems several months later. This man is the essential professional. His price is a little high but worth the price. He does what he promises and more. He acts like he is working in the White House. He is patient and thoughtful. He does the work better then you could imagine without collateral damage and without any mess. He is the best find on Angies List and I am not related to him. THE BEST!

Ferney showed up on time and gave me a good estimate. He was professional and followed up with a quote in writing. His secretary was very responsive to all my questions.

I had 5 separate jobs to be done, ranging from the minor (replacing a furniture handle) to the more challenging (replacing a door frame). Ferney set a price for the entirety in advance. Though he was booked, he accommodated my need to have the work done before Memorial Day weekend. He arrived that Friday afternoon, as scheduled, with a co-worker. He explained his approach to each job; some required some creative problem-solving, but he perservered until he found solutions. He was extremely conscientious, obviously concerned with doing the work exactly right, and stayed well into the evening to make sure it was. Highly skilled and professional.

Mr. Leal and his team did a great job. They came in and did an excellent job repairing the hole in our drywall with plaster.

It went very well. He did the work himself with another guy to help him. He is punctual, extremely considerate, clean, and polite. He kept me very informed on his progress with the work and the work planned for the following days.

This is the second time I've used Ferney and it was an equally positive experience. His pricing model is not by the hour but by the task, which I prefer since you know the work will be done more quickly and expeditiously. Ferney is responsive to e-mails and submits detailed estimates. In this case, he had to delay the by a day or two, but he communicated it a few days in advance which gave me a chance to plan accordingly. I plan to use him on future projects. Recommend.

Contacted me the same day I emailed him (a Tuesday) to setup a free estimate that night. Looked at the door and gave me an estimate of 180 dollars. Told me he would return a few days later, depending on his schedule, to do the repair. Two days later (Thursday), he emailed me to tell me he had not forgotten but he could not come yet. I told him no problem, he could come over the weekend or next monday or tuesday. He said he could come Saturday at 5:00 and I said fine with me. It ended up being more difficult than he estimated at first because he worked on it almost 2 hours. He said he would go to the hardware store to get the weather stripping and come back another dayto install that, which was fine with me. I tried to pay him for fixing the door but he said he would not take any payment until he came back with the weather stripping.

I wanted to work with a small firm, so that I would be dealing with the boss, as we bought an old house and we have a lot of work to do, and I hoped to build be able to find someone I could trust and work with in the years ahead. I got 5 bids, and Ferney Leal was the lowest. I got a bid from another high-rated Angie's List provided, and the bid was twice as high--without materials. Ferney Leal started the work about a month after the agreement. The work was all hand-work and custom for the space, and we worked through a lot of the little design issues--He has a great eye, and worked diligently to make sure it worked, and looked great. A crew of between 2-3 people worked each day for about 3-4 weeks. We were living in the middle of the work, and they cleaned up each day so that we could survive. Ferney Leal and all of the workers are great. He is a wonderful guy, and did great work. I have had some terrible experiences with DC contractors, but Ferney Leal actually has us looking forward to our next project. Ferney Leal is GREAT GREAT GREAT. I have never worked with anyone better.

The painters were organize , showed up on time, cleaned after themselves. Mr. Leal was pleasant, cooperative and professional. What more could you want!

They did a great job, fixing more than was originally specified on the original quote. They worked all day in cold weather. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. They cleaned up well after they were finished as well. I would definitely call on them next time I had this type of work.

Mr. Leal and his employee did an excellent job on fairly short notice. He completed the work in a short amount of time. The work was done professionally and without issue. He also made a special effort to retrieve a specific vent hood that was only available in one place and stayed late one night by himself to finish the work. The work area was cleaned and presentable at the end of the job.

They were great. It was last year. He did a great job. He was very nice and pleasant in the house as well. We appreciated that. I would very constantly recommend them to anybody. He is really good. All the people I had a lot that comes to our house in different things and definitely does, and the one I like the most.

The booking for an estimate went well. He was able to come out within a few days - actually on a Sunday afternoon which was convenient for me. I enjoyed meeting Mr. Leal - he picked up on some of the challenges of my job right away, and we walked through the various solutions together. Once we agreed on an approach, he gave me an idea of the price and followed up with a quote with a lower price within a few days. Mr. Leal was able to come out a little over a week after receiving the quote and confirming a date. He and his assistant arrived on time and got right to work. They kept the area clean, and installed the tile floor as we had agreed. They did a great job - I am very pleased with how the floor looks. Ultimately, I was very pleased with the price I paid and the quality of service I received. Mr. Leal is clearly interested in pleasing customers - even emailing after the job was done to make sure I was still satisfied and requesting we review him on Angies List (which we are happy to do). I had used a different handyman service in the past, but they were too busy this time and Mr. Leal stepped in and did a great job. I will go to him first in the future for jobs at our house and recommend him to others.

Ferney came out on time when he said he would. Looked over my relatively small carpentry project of opening up an area near a bay window. He gave an estimate a day or two later as promised. I got several estimates and went with a different contractor based on price. Ferney was probably my second choice. Seems like a typical handyman - good for small to medium pojects.

It was fine, but I won't use them for this project and probably would not for others in the future.

Never returned phone calls.

I had a bad experience with them at that time. The first time that I used them, it was great but the second time, it was not so good. I have been waiting for two weeks to get my light fixed in the kitchen and a guy from the company finally called me a week later and told me that the electrician was going to call me and it has been a week. So, I will not be using them. I will have to call somebody else.
