He told me that he didn't service my area, but he was able to give a detailed explanation of what he believes to be my problem, which he said is probably plastic deterioration. He spent about 10-20 minutes on the phone with me, even though he knew that he wouldn't be getting the job. He has made an important recommendation about the replacement of my water heater based on the information that I gave him. He seemed extremely competent and knowledgeable, and I would use him in an instant if he worked in my area.

Another plumber had been contracted to install two bathroom sinks, two new toilets, replace supply lines which were on the edge of failing. Everything they tried to do had to be redone. One of the new vanities was not bolted to the wall, but an attempt had been made to keep it from wobbling by the use of massive amounts of caulk. One new toilet was not adjusted for water flow and so it continued to cycle water. One of the water supply line replacements leaked - not properly soldered! Leahy was recommended by a friend; they arrived promptly and repaired the mistakes of the previous plumber and finished the job of installing a new toilet and pedestal sink in the second bathroom. They were polite, prompt, capable and reasonably priced. I would definitely use them again.

They were good. I bought all the parts and they installed it and they also repaired a toilet that had a problem. A friend of mine referred them to me when I was desperately looking for a plumber and it went very well. The first experience with them was when they came and worked on my 20 year old water heater. They person that came out was very nice, thorough and knowledgeable. I think they are all very honest and clean up after themselves.

Their price is excellent and quality is good. They are very responsive and punctual.

It has been a fine experience. All plumbers are really busy and they try to come as soon as they can. They were a little late, but I called and they came soon after. They are very polite.

The pilot of my water heater would go out after relighting. I called Leahy plumbing to come fix it. They came the next day. The technician replaced the thermo coupling and it works.

Arrived day before and surveyed the job. Estimated $500-600 for all work. Purchased parts and returned the next day to perform the work. Came promptly and serviced professionally. Initially said that he is not familiar with well systems, but replaced the pressure switch anyway after determining that is the reason for poor pressure regulation. Took more time than originally estimated, but work was good. The only issue was that he installed the auxiliary pump shut-off switch in the wrong place. But I had the wrong part, so I had to re-order and installed it myself, so he's not entirely to blame (except he should have known it was wrong). Because it took longer than promised, cost was higher than expected. Rates are steep at $105/hr, but they do good work.

They came right away when we had a big problem. They were excellent. Didn't charge extra for coming after hours.

I am always happy with the job they do. I think they are good about scheduling any service I need right when I call them. They are reasonable with their charges and comparable to other plumbers. I have used them several times and they are always friendly when they come to my home.

I've used them for years. They've done all sorts of jobs for me over the years and they've always done good job. They are very reliable and professional. I've been very happy with the way these guys have done their work over the years and that's why I use them all of the time.

Work was scheduled quickly. Serviceman arrived on time and completed promptly and as promised.

I called Leahy to complete a somewhat complicated plumbing job at my house. One of the Leahy family members came to my house to give me an estimate. He spent about a half of an hour speaking with me and looking at the pipes before telling me that Leahy would call me later in the week with a formal estimate before starting work. They never called me, so I called them at the beginning of the next week. They answered and I explained my situation. They said that they would talk to the plumber and call me back. They never called back. I called again. Same thing. I found the cell phone number of the plumber who originally came to my house, so I called him. He answered and said he would call me back IN 5 minutes. He never called!!! They totally wasted two weeks of my time and allowed me to play cat and mouse!

We called around 8:30 Monday and spoke to John Leahy later that same evening. We were told to call after 6:30 Tuesday morning and they would have someone at our house by 9:00 am Tuesday. The plumber arrived just before 8:00 am. They have done other work for us and we were very pleased with that as well.

John returned my calls within hours and even remembered me from previous conversations. The crew arrived before the initial appointment time. They arrived early each morning and stayed late each evening to finish the work as quickly as possible. What was estimated to be a five-day job was actually completed in three days. Most important for me was how comfortable I felt with John and the crew. They seemed to know what they were doing and were willing to answer my many questions without talking down to me. Though I didn't call around for dozens of other price estimates, I am confident the price was fair.

Scheduling was efficient, as several "time windows" were offered, and the plumber came on time. The work was performed with minimum mess. The plumber was conscientious about cleaning up after an inherently dirty job.

LEAHY PLUMBING DOES EXCELLENT WORK. THEY COME OUT VERY QUICKLY AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY DEPENDABLE. I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY FOR ALL OUR PLUMBING NEEDS FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS.

I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH THEM FOR YEARS. THEY ARE USUALLY VERY RESPONSIBLE. THEY DO OKAY OVERALL, THEY ARE VERY BUSY. THEY ARE EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL. I HAVE BEEN USING THESE GUYS FOR A LONG TIME.

SERVICE CALL CHARGE WAS WAY TOO MUCH MONEY! I CALLED BECAUSE MY FAUCET WAS LEAKING AND THE GUY CAME OUT, LOOKED AT MY FAUCET AND SAID THERE WASN'T A PROBLEM, THEN CHARGED ME $95. MY FAUCET HAS LEAKED AND WATER IS EVERYWHERE! MY THINGS ARE RUINED AND NOW I HAVE TO CALL SOMEONE AGAIN.

OVERALL, I WAS PLEASED WITH THE WORK PERFORMED. THE PLUMBERS WERE LATE,BUT OTHERWISE WERE RESPONSIVE, AND KIND, THE PRICE WAS MODERATE IN COMPARISON TO OTHER COMPANIES I HAVE TRIED. MY PHONE CALLS WERE ANSWERED WITHIN THE HOUR, AND I WAS PLEASED WITH THE JOB DONE. GREAT DISCUSSION WITH THE WORKERS, ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS, WOULD HIRE AGAIN.

LEAHY PLUMBING IS OWNED, AND RUN BY JOHN LEAHY. HE ACTUALLY ANSWERS THE PHONE AND IS ALWAYS HELPFUL. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME WE'VE USED THEM. (WE HAD OUR PIPES CHANGED TO COPPER BY LEAHY IN OUR PREVIOUS HOME -- A MAJOR PROJECT) WE HAVE ALWAYS HAD PLEASANT, KNOWLEDGEABLE PROFESSIONALS WHO CAME TO DO THE WORK. WE'VE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM.
