Description of Work: They helped us with new kitchen cabinets and design. They were reasonable priced and quality of the cabinets were good. There were few problems and they were not very eager to correct them but they did it at the end. |

+ -1 moreThe process overall was smooth, and Kitchen Techniq was accomodating of our needs. For example, we had picked out a door style and glaze from one of Kitchen Techniq's cabinet manufacturers, but we were interested in using the line of cabinets from another one of his manufacturers. Uncertain whether the other manufacturer could duplicate the quality of the glaze we had chosen, Don ordered a sample door for us. Several weeks later when the sample arrived, we were extremely happy that we went this extra step to actually see the product (and not just a small board), because we did not like the glaze on the sample. We were able to make adjustments; Don talked with the factory, etc. and we avoided making a mistake. We went through many iterations of designs as we tweaked the project. Don gave us a lot of suggestions and choices, and really let the cabinets reflect our style, needs and vision. He is not pushy. He is not trying to make a sale. Don is personable, funny, and has been in the kitchen design business for at least 25 years. The wood on one of the cabinets was slightly chipped during shipping - no fault of Kitchen Techniq or even the cabinetry manufacturer. There was no hesitation on the part of Kitchen Techniq or the manufacturer as they promptly provided a replacement cabinet (within 10 days) at no cost to us.
Description of Work: Kitchen Techniq, Don Singman (owner), designed the cabinetry layout for a family room we converted into a library and office with ample desk space to accomodate 3 to 4 adults and children working at the same time. It is the family homework room and second office for the parents. We worked with Don on the design, layout, and specifications of the base and wall cabinets, drawers and roll outs, moldings, trim, light rail, a separate credenza and tall book shelves. Don has a good eye for design and a penchant for detail. Cabinets were ordered by Kitchen Techniq from one of it high quality cabinet manufacturers. Don also introduced us to one of his recommended countertop companies for granite - quartz countertops, whose pricing was extremely competitive. Delivery time from when the cabinets order was placed until the cabinets were delivered was only 6 weeks. The cabinets we ordered have inset doors with hidden hinges instead of the more commonly used overlay doors. The cabinets are beautiful, unique and warm. The workspace design suits our needs perfectly. The cabinets are of a high quality. We are extremely happy with the results. The library office is actually the third cabinetry project that Kitchen Techniq has done in our home. We worked with Don in 2008 on the cabinetry for a second story foyer that we converted into a laundry room. We jokingly say that it is the most beautiful room in our home. We first worked with Don in 1998 when we were building our home. Instead of using the builder's line of kitchen cabinetry, we outsourced our kitchen design and cabinets to Kitchen Techniq. Don worked with the builder to integrate our design into the home. Our kitchen is the core room of our family time. We have loved the cabinets and the design of our kitchen ever since then. We have had nothing but good experiences with Kitchen Techniq over the years, which is why we have returned to Don several times.

Kitchen TechniQ, Inc. offers the following services: We design cabinetry for family rooms, laundry rooms, kitchens and bathrooms, ordering cabinetry directly from one of the many factories we represent. We sell cabinetry, counter tops including granite, and all the engineered quartz products, and hardware. We assist in the finish selections for the walls and floors to make sure the finished appearance of the room is just right.
We do not sell the labor costs to install our products but instead highly recommend our clients use one of our licensed & bonded contractors who can provide up to date references to you. If you do not have a contractor of your own, we know you will be very pleased with the workmanship and communication you would have from choosing to work with one of ours.
