Description of Work: I can't remember all of their names, but the 4 movers came to the single family home. The one in charge surveyed what needed to be moved and instructed the others in a very congenial and professional manner. I was most impressed that they wrapped every piece of furniture and took great pains as if the furniture was their mother's. The man in charge asked about other items that I was going to move myself and said they could handle it, and handle it they did! |They were all very efficient workers who never quit until the job was done. Again, this impressed me very much. Sometimes movers take way too long to pack and move everything, but these guys were awesome. |They unpacked and assembled what I asked them to and even went above and beyond. When I couldn't put my king-size bed together, one jumped in and finished the job. When they were finished I provided some light refreshments and thanked them for such a splendid job. |After the paperwork was complete and the movers left, I soon realized they had overcharged me. The next day I called the owner who readily agreed and we both agreed on the proper charges for the job. Once again, this was very impressive. |I would highly recommend this moving company and, while I hope I never have to move again, if need be I will definitely use this company.

Description of Work: We were moving cross country from Washington DC to Phoenix AZ. It was going to be necessary to store our DC furniture for a period of time until our new was ready. I found In and Out Mover's on Angie's List along with other moving services and invited their representative to our home to make an estimate. After evaluating all the estimates were evaluated, we chose In and Out Moving, considering their estimate the best value. We packed all of our belongings ourselves leaving several large pieces of sculpture and a granite table top for the movers to pack. In DC, we were pleased with the care and professionalism exhibited by In and Out's crew as they moved our belongings and furniture into their truck for storage. Working with In and Out's estimator, the day to deliver our belongings in Arizona became a moving target even though I had confirmed the date I wanted our belongings delivered. Also, MANY of our furniture items became scuffed somewhere between leaving our front door in DC and arriving in Arizona. In addition, the crew delivering our furniture scuffed up some of brand new paint and drywall in our new home. Lastly, one member of the delivery crew needed a lesson in personal hygiene. In hindsight, it may have been worth the effort to hire a contractor that would have had continuous control of our belongings door to door rather than someone who sub-contracted their cross country work.

Description of Work: They gave a very accurate estimate of how much the moving services would cost and how long it would take. They arrived with the time window provided. They were efficient and very careful with all of our household items. And for a full day of work, about 10 hours, the total was under $1000. And that included disassembling and reassembling 2 bedroom sets and moving a 6-foot high China cabinet. I was very, very pleased with their services.
