They moved several small items from my home to an apartment. They were efficient and careful with my items.

Purchased the $299 for a 16 ft. Moving Truck & a 3 Man Crew for 3 Hours to move my things out of a storage unit into my new home. The Team arrived on time and did an excellent job moving my things. All work was done within allotted time. Very professional service.

It went pretty well. We contacted the provider for an estimate, which was given over the telephone. This being our first move, outside of the military, we didn't really know what to expect. We could either pack everything or have the provider pack our items. We packed most and left the furniture to the provider. What we didn't realize, but should have, is that regardless of the phone estimate, the ultimate price would be based on weight. Awareness of the cost for "price per pound" might have made our culling of non-essential items a bit easier. So far, we are satisfied with the service. We will know for sure once we determine our all of our shipped items arrived safely at their destination.

The moving men did a good job moving my things but complained about various things, took a couple half hour breaks, damaged two pieces of furniture, did a bait and switch on the price and stole a gold & silver bracelet-2 in all out of the cases.

We were totally pleased with all aspects of the move. The movers were punctual and professional in every respect. It was raining rather hard at the time they unloaded and carried our items from the moving van to our apartment, but everything arrived completely dry.

Herman and his crew were great! They were on time, very professional and worked quickly. Although the cost was more than I expected, it was worth it. Herman explained all charges before hand. He consulted me throughout the move about costs and gave me options. So, there was no surprise at the end of the day. I have vintage mid-century furniture and it was handled with care. I would definitely use them again.

I have moved 9 times in 14 years, so when I say that In and Out movers were amazing, I know what I'm talking about. They were the best movers I've ever worked with. Itai, the lead mover, is a perfectionist. Every piece of furniture was precisely wrapped and padded, every bed frame that was taken apart was carefully labeled. He and the other 3 movers never touched a wall, which wasn't easy up and down flights of stairs and narrow corridors. Itai was so helpful and friendly, ready to move furniture to a different location in the room or a different floor if we changed our mind about where it needed to go. I've never worked with anyone so helpful and caring. They finished the move 2.5 hours ahead of schedule. I highly recommend using In and Out.

The moved went extremely well. The movers arrived to the apartment on time and started to breakdown the furniture to prepare for the move. They laid protective covering on the floor to protect against mark ups. All the of furniture was wrapped in a protected material to prevent damage. Everything was done is a professional manner and I would use the service again.

Overall, the movers were great. They were on time and extremely responsive. They worked hard for 6.5 hour in a down pour and I didn't hear one complaint. My only dig on them would be the cost of packing materials. This wasn't included or even estimated in the original quote and it took me by surprise, to the tune of $250. I would say make sure and get an estimate for this because there is no give. They wrap things to keep their liability down. While that was unexpected, I would definitely use these guys again in the future and I would recommend them. Conditions were far from ideal on my moving day, but they did take a lot of the worry off of my plate and did a fabulous job of communicating with me and making sure we had everything.

The owner is very pleasant. He scheduled it and set everything up. On the day of the guys showed up on time. Dealt with everything considerably well.

They were professional but weren't very organized.

While they arrived on time and were professional in their behavior, I do not think these particular workers were experienced enough to handle this size move. I have moved households before so as a comparison, I noticed these men did not know how to move certain large pieces of furniture and towards the end, it seemed they were "pooped out" and were half hearted and left some mess and what not. They did work very hard and did not take lengthy breaks and were very nice, just inexperienced for such a large move.

The people I spoke to were extremely charming. I love talking to them. They were nice and cool. I asked them to deliver this to that location within this date and they thought about it for a while then they said “Absolutely yes, no problem,“ and then they couldn’t. The reason was nobody was gonna be there at another time. My husband was in another location only for these dates and he can’t go to that location just because the furniture was coming. But they had promised me, they had done a check and then it turned out that they can’t do it. They gave me a bad time and told me they can do it a couple of days later. I said that my husband’s gonna exchange his airplane reservation and they said they would pay for that. The guy kinda gave me a bad time, like it was my fault that I was expecting this on that date. I reminded him that the reason I was expecting it was because he had said they would do it and I didn’t make the date up. I asked. They tell you what they think you want to hear to get your business and then they don’t expect you’re gonna require that they actually deliver and that is a practice that I hate. I only wanted them to tell me what they really can do. As it turned out, my husband was able to change his date without a fee and he was there. The charming guy was really good about making promises but I’m not sure about how good he would be about keeping them. They know that that wasn’t our only move and they want our business for the other part. I am going to get a competitive bid on the second part of the move. The guys came and did the work. They were fine. There was nothing about it that wasn’t okay except for the nonsense about the schedule run around. That was a complication for us to deal with. When I talked to the boss, he promised that he will get it there on the state that we originally asked. They told me that they would weigh everything and they would charge me by the pound and then they never were willing to tell me what the weight was. The price might be fair. The quality was good. I got to talk to the manager every day when they decided to tell me they weren’t gonna make the day. The pickup was exactly when they said it would be but the delivery was a problem because it was a little bit late. I believe they really tried.

The owner quoted me one price of around $480, but in the end, he wanted to charge me over $1000, but I only had $850 to give him which is what he took. His workers were outstanding, but the owner gave me a misreading, and false information about the actual move and the cost. I told him what I needed moved, and he brought the smallest truck that he had, which meant there would have to be 2 trips. He told me he would be at my old place at 8 in the morning, but didnt actually show up until 2:30 in the afternoon. I would give the workers an A+, but the owner and the business itself an F.

They showed up on time wrapped everything loaded and unloaded the furniture and put in the desired locations very efficiently and effectively. We have moved over 20 times as well as inspecting overseas moves as a career Navy officer and I have never had a better experience or seen a more professional move.

Our move went quite well. The men, four of them, were diligent and very careful of our belongings. They were also careful of details in prepping our heirloom furnishings, wrapping, padding and bubble wrapping as needed and necessary. We were concerned about the length of time it took to complete. We did have lamps that needed to be packed, we did the rest of the packing and moving of boxes and clothes ourselves, however, one person packed the lamps while three others were preparing and moving furniture. So, we believe that this small amount of packing should not have added significantly to the time of the move. Our estimated time and cost were 6 hours and $1,015.00, respectively. The entire moved took 10 hours at a cost of $2,297.00, far more than we could ever could have imagined.

The move went great. The movers were punctual, prepared with extra moving supplies, and efficient. I would definitely hire them again although we hope not to have to move for a good while!

The entire moving experience was the most peaceful process I could have ever imagined. Igal is a professional and a joy to deal with. He made himself available immediately for a quick on-site assessment and quote. I was originally quoted 4 guys and two trucks and was estimated 10 hours, but they sent 5 guys just to ensure we get things moving faster and hopefully stay on track. Unfortunately it took an hour longer than they had anticipated and I was charged for the extra hour (although, I was not charged for the extra person). But it was honestly a lot of work and the crew didn't take more than 20 minutes of break throughout the day. I was very happy with the outcome. I had a large heavy marble top dining table and a piano which was a major concern for us not to get damaged. These guys took great care and did the move flawlessly. To be honest I had anticipated some minor damages or breakage on our items. However, I was impressed that everything was delivered to my new house without scratches or damages to my walls/floors/items. Every single crewman was an honest hardworker and that's why I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

Professional and punctual. Igal was very responsive, and the team worked hard for 6 hours straight to complete the move out of and into a condo within Washington DC. General service was solid, they showed up on time, the team worked diligently and took good care of the furniture through the move. Would recommend them - maybe not the cheapest price, but worth getting a good quality experience.

They were terrible. I paid $299 for a coupon. Shortly after I set up the move, I was called and asked to pay a $99 travel fee that was a typical charge. I said okay, because it sounded somewhat reasonable. They arrived and immediately began charging for things I neither wanted nor needed. They insisted that they needed to shrink wrap my couch and mattress because they were large items. I said okay. He showed me a list of packing supplies. The extra wrapping charge for the couch and mattress would be about 50 bucks. I thought, well, okay then. They were here and I needed to move, so I guess I had to pay. Then they went upstairs where all the rest of my furniture was and began putting packing tape on EVERYThING, wrapping blankets around all the furniture and then putting packing tape around that too. Twice I asked them to stop. They insisted that they had to. They put packing tape on drawers I had already secured with duct tape. They put packing tape around bags and around other boxes. Everytime I went upstairs to see what was taking so long I heard PACKING TAPE. IT took twice as long because of their incessant wrapping that I didn?t want, didn?t need -- I was only moving 30 minutes away! There was no reason for them to do anything but throw some blanks around my furniture and stack my boxes with care. At the end of the day I was charge TWO HUNDRED EXTRA DOLLARS for packing tape and the extra time it took them to use all the rolls of packing tape. I paid SIX HUNDRED DOLLLARS to move three rooms 30 minutes away.

First of all the week before the move I sent emails to see if they had an ETA for the arrival of the truck in Phila. Nobody responded. The day before the move I got a call from one of the managers saying that the move needed to be paid in full prior to the move because their trucks did not take credit cards. That would have been nice to know ahead of time. Also the law in MD states 1/3 down for services provided appartently they dont know the law. Then I was told that the truck would arrive in Phila between 9-10 am. Only to get a call that they were at the location at 6:55 am and ready to start. I don't mind early but maybe a call would have been nice when you were enroute so that we could be up and ready also. Then the move itself was a disaster. Things that were to stay in Phila are now in MD and things that were not to go into storage like a freezer were taken there along with other items. When we discovered that the freezer was at the storage facility we offered the men more money to return it to the house and they said (NO) but gladly placed it inourSUV. So we spent 2300 for a move on Friday and the majority of the day after the truck left picking up and bringing to our home items that they took to the wrong location. Also they did not come with a company truck but a rented Penske truck which to me if you are a moving company why don't you have your own truck with a logo on it like on Angie's List. If it wasn't for the 1 person wearing a company t-shirt I would not have believed that these were professional movers. In a nutshell if you don't care about doing double work and just want someone to move your stuff from point A to B then these are your guys. I actually had a double move from and apt in MD and then the home in Phila and the 2 experiences were like night and day. The difference in professionalism was brutally clear. I have nothing to say positive except that my things arrived in mutiple locations and now I have to move them again so the right things will be in the right place. I would not reccomend this company to anyone.

We booked the truck and crew less than a week in advance. They showed up right on time, a crew of four men. The truck was plain white- no company name--which made me a little nervous. The men wore 'In and Out Movers' t-shirts. They got right to work. They wrapped furniture in blankets and saran wrap and used many rolls of tape. For a few items I suggested they didn't need to be wrapped (since they charge for packing material and time) but they said they would be scratched otherwise. Our furniture survived, but I do think they were a bit too zealous at increasing the cost of packing materials and time. In addition, they asked if they could drive the fully loaded truck to a local convenience store to pick up lunch. I was a bit surprised at that-- not grudging them the need for a food break, but thought they would bring their food rather than drive the fully loaded truck to a location further than our planned move distance. In addition, they wanted to add an 8% fuel surcharge that was not on the estimate-- this was ridiculous, given that it was a one mile move, and that what the 8% was based on included packing materials, not drive distance. So, there were some hidden costs that made it pricier than we had expected. That said, our furniture arrived intact, they did their best to protect the carpets and floors in the new house, and we could communicate clearly with the team leader. We would use them again, but clarify some of these costs that added up.

The service was outstanding from In & Out. The four men and truck showed up to work right on time. There was a leader or manager in the group who wanted to do a walk through of my home to best understand the job and be sure all the guys were on the same page before beginning. This was a big job as we had a lot of stuff in a small space. We went over the contract and they managed my expectations on how long it would take and then we got started. It is a policy that they wrap every piece of furniture that they move, which makes it a bit more expensive but ensures there is not one scratch on anything once they are done. The four men worked for 9 hours, taking VERY few breaks and a short lunch. I 100% got the best value for my money through those 9 hours because it was 100 degrees out and I have 6 flights of stairs in my new home. The men worked so hard, I was so impressed. One thing that stuck out to me was how concerned they were the entire time on how happy I was with their work. They continued to have me check over any furniture they took apart and re-assembled. They were so careful and thorough. The whole move was long but I was very much stress free because I knew I was in good hands. There was an instance of a queen size box spring not fitting up the stairs. Instead of giving up and telling me it won't fit, they had all four guys work on it for 45 minutes and eventually get it around the corner and up the stairs. Any other moving company would have just told me tough luck, but my satisfaction was #1 for this team of guys. Using In & Out was probably more expensive than using another company, however, the guarantee that not one piece of furniture even got a scratch on it and everything was left assembled, working properly and perfectly arranged the way I wanted it, was 100% worth every penny. This company is detail oriented and customer centric and I would always recommend them to anyone who cares about their belongings and has a move coming up.
