Great! Scheduling was easy and they were very responsive via email and phone. The team was very punctual and took great care of my items (wrapped and protected any items I hadn't packed properly since I'd packed in a rush). They also took care not to scratch any walls or floor when in the apartment. They made sure I inspected everything to ensure no items were left behind or lost. Overalll the process was very transparent, all the costs and possible upcharges were explained before hand.

The move went well until we arrived at my new home and discovered my big screen TV was broken. I was told to contact the company and was guaranteed by the mover that the company would repair and/or replace my TV. After calling and emailing the company all weekend, I was finally able to reach someone on Tuesday morning because the manager Egal thought I was calling to set up service. At that time, he offered me $296 for my 65" 3D Smart TV that was broken. I stated that I would not accept that amount. He requested for me to have someone come out to give an estimate on how much it would cost for the TV to be fixed and he would reimburse me. The specialist came to my home and stated that the TV was broken due to impact. Provided a quote that stated the TV could be fixed for $850 to $1250. He also stated that my TV was valued at $1000 to $1250. I am currently still trying to be reimbursed for the estimated value of my TV.

Move went okay. They were very slow. They quoted $125.00 per hour and added extra charges.

In one word-excessive! Excessive wrapping, excessive time, disorganization (even with three men) and excessive excuses. I already had the majority of the boxes packed but it took them "a lot of time" because I lived on the sixth floor (with an elevator) and a long hallway. They used yards and yards of plastic wrap (an example is on my cat tree) because they said the driver was allergic. He had been in my apartment for hours and seemed fine to me until the end when they grabbed the cat tree. The original estimate was approx. $700 (of course I was willing to pay more as needed) for my two bedroom apartment. When they finally got us moved (nearly 7 hours later and their lunch break) it cost over $1350.?!? I thought that I had used this mover previously. Those movers were efficient, organized and very respectful of my time. They did not overly charge me. I will never use these movers again. I remained cordial (and exhausted) and paid what they asked. I gave them each a tip (as anyone should) and finally got rid of them and their excuses. I mentioned to them that I found their name on Angie's List. So why did they tell me (more than once) not to review them there but to use Yelp? Curious!

The move was okay. The movers were very polite and thorough in wrapping every piece of furniture to prevent damage. However, they were almost an hour late for pick-up and moved very very slowly. It took 5 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment and I still had to end up doing a significant amount of work because I didn't want to pay for another hour. While they were professional and respected my belongings, I would not use them again.

I hired them on very short notice, just one week before the move date, and they were able to accommodate us. They were punctual. The four guys who came were fantastic, highly skilled, and friendly. They worked hard and they took care to wrap the furniture and handle our items carefully. We did add two extra stops, which made the price go up considerably. The boxes were also more expensive than I anticipated. Overall, though, I'm quite pleased with their service.

I used In & Out Movers and Relocation. They were here July of 2015. It cost about $1400.

As other reviewers noted - the pricing is slippery. I was given a quote over the phone and the movers gave us an invoice of more than double the quote upon completion! The movers added ridiculous charges such as over $100 in fuel for a 8 mile move. The movers were very professional (except 30 minutes late) and did the job steadily without being in a rush. They were careful with our property and home. I called to complain about the pricing discrepancies and the owner essentially split the difference with me. I probably would have used them if I was given the right price up front because it wasn't unreasonable - but I will never use them again because I believe they were deceptive.

I had to wait a long time for them come. To get a better grading they should have showed up on time.

They were supposed to move me on Friday; however, I received a called telling me they couldn't make it because their truck had broken down. They would think they would have one truck set aside for situation like this one. They arrived on Saturday which means I had to changed my schedule. A big problem but I dealt with it because I didn't have to time to find another company. When the movers arrived, two of the movers look like they were fresh out of high school with little experience. The person in charged disappeared for 30 minutes. I know this because I timed him since I was paying them by the hour. It took them 30 minutes to get my box-spring downstairs;however, a couple of years before another moving company didn't take that long. And they damaged the ceiling in the apartment. I have to pay for it. The man in charge told me the minimum time is 7 hours but I told him my contract states that he minimum time was for 4 hours. Guess what...it took them 7 hours. He told me that the 1 hour drive wasn't included in the 7 hours; however, the total amount of time was 7 hours including the 1 hour drive ,so that didn't make any sense at all. The owner waged that fee. At the new location, I noticed that the foreman disappeared again, so I went outside to find him. He was folding blankets and cleaning the truck on my time. I brought this issue to his attention. He had an instance attitude that make me feel really uneasy. The two young men was very helpful and polite so I gave them a really large tip, I gave the foreman a large tip as well but he didn't deserve it. After I gave him the tip, he leave and didn't close my gate on purpose. I'm didn't complete their survey because the foreman was standing over me which made me very uncomfortable again. It started as a little more than $445 and it quickly because $1200 in no time - that fee includes a 10% discount. I will not use this company again and doubt if I will trust Angie's list because of this situation.

They're really, really helpful, very proactive. It was like having your best friend help you out. They're very approachable and willing to work with you.

Great service! We used In&Out for a local move from Baltimore to Bethesda. I called to request a move date less than a week and they immediately found some people to help me. They gave me a reasonable rate (3 men for 6 hours, charged by the hour) and came in early morning. They are careful with my stuff and finished everything on time. What I liked about the service was everything is clear. I asked them to pack some of my stuff and they explained to me that they will charge for boxes and tapes. They used all the boxes I prepared and at the end only charged me for tapes that were used. They communicated when they needed a break, when they were on the way to the house, and when they would be at the destination. If they were late, they called to explain and gave you a heads up. They were courteous, friendly, professional. They are very reasonable in terms of price as well. I'd highly recommend the company.

Everything went okay. The service was alright. They were on time. They had enough men here to do what I needed done. They had enough staff. The price was right. They seemed okay with responsiveness. I would consider using them.

The process of getting everything out of the house they were pretty good, but when I had the stuff marked at the new house for certain rooms, they did not check those markings to see if they were putting in the right rooms. Yea stuff that was supposed to go in the basement, is upstairs in the rooms it doesn't belong in. I had given them instructions not to take a certain box, since it had specific things I needed like my tablet and info on their company, and they took that box and put it on the truck. I would have put it in my car earlier, but they were asking me questions about the house. When I finished paying the 1600 dollars more than I thought I was going to pay (since it took them 12 hours) the guy was standing rudely waiting for the gratitude, which I planned on doing but I found that really rude.

Started off pleasant enough but then when workers arrived at the house, the drama started. Brand new house and they refused to lay down blankets as they originally promised that they would or cover their shoes. Of course an argument ensued when the lead worker decided to tell us in the house WE paid for that he has moved for several new homes and nothing special about him walking about with his boots. Even the request to lay down blankets ourselves was denied and he refused to let us touch the blankets (which was supposed to be covering our furniture by the way) but no he wanted them nicely folded and untouched. They even refused to respond until we made a call back to the dispatcher who connected us to their boss. It was this call to the boss that resolved the issue to lay down blankets which mind you we still had to do by ourselves but by this time we have lost about 30 minutes of moving time! Then it was that they could not get the furniture (all we had were mattresses, spring boxes and 3 parts of a sectional couch. Do you want to believe that we had to argue to get the couch in the house as well. Their rationale was that the standard door (same as the house the couch was moved from) was too small for the couch. We had a friend over that was assisting and he was so irritated by their behavior that he even jumped in and coached "the professionals" on how to get a standard couch through a standard door. At the end of the move which was essentially stuffing all our boxes into the garage (they loudly complained several times about our boxes), they handed me a bill for an additional $171 for the extra 30mins which they had cost me earlier by spending all that time arguing (yes, they bill for the full hour once you go beyond the 3 hours). The lack of professionalism, the argumentative and rude crew was unthinkable. The fact that the boss had the audacity to call later for the balance was the shocker!! I recommend that you spend your money elsewhere or be left having to move your stuff from the garage later on by yourself!

Again overall good experience, but I need companies I am working with to be on time and that was really my only complaint.

When I called to schedule the move I was told that the three hours included 1/2 hour of driving to and from my location. This was NOT listed in the details. Bottom line is that the deal included 2 hours of moving not 3 as advertised. I canceled and rebooked with another company that was more upfront with the terms.

They called in the morning to let me know when they would arrive. Arrived within the set time frame, but would have preferred that they were earlier - due to elevator reservations issues. They were polite and efficient. Very careful in packing and moving. Also, they were very up front about the cost of the move and the packing materials. At studio apartment building, we arrived too late for the reserved elevator, so we had to reroute to another elevator...not an easy task. They handled the situation very well and everything turned out quite nicely. Nothing damaged or broken. Finished within the allotted time frame. I have used many movers in the past few years, and this company is one I would use again.

The movers were on time and focused on the job at hand. They were literally in and out. They packed everything very carefully, moved it and unloaded it - going out of their way to put the furniture back together and boxes where I wanted them. They were very professional and friendly. They honored their on-site estimate. I highly recommend them and, although I hope to never move again, I'll use them if I do.

It was an awful experience. I have used them before, several times before. But this last time that I used them they were slow, they damaged my furniture, they charged me additional for something that was not on the contract and they went over the agreed time (they spent six hours moving my stuff instead of 3 or 4 hours). I got into an argument with one of the gentlemen. It was just an awful experience which I could not believe because I have used them twice in the past and I referred them. It seems that they really don?t want to do it and they took their time doing it. They did not take care of my furniture. Each time that I used them, I get a contract with the amount that I have to pay but when they came, the driver asked additional money for moving my washer and dryer. I had to call the office and talk to them about the issue but they did not refund my money. I will not recommend them. They did not even cover my furniture and as an effect some of it got scratches.

The moves arrived a little after the one hour window I was given but they were very nice and worked hard. They had to deal with three flights of stairs in our apartment and very rainy weather too. Nothing was broken and they took care with our things. Only part I was disappointed with was the final pricing but after speaking with Igal, he took care of it right away. Overall, happy with our choice.
