They were really good. They put plastic walls up and hung plastic cabinets. They put in a plastic floor. It looks terrific. It looks brand new and it was a grungy mess. It is nice. We even put a ping pong table in there and a hop scotch was part of the garage floor.

We used an Angie's List coupon for the work and got about $2000 off of the total bill. The garage looks great, AND, I think they could do a better job of installation in two ways: they need to include a peice of wood underneath the wall, to close off the space between the original garage wall and the new wall material. This way, rodents can't climb through and access open spaces that may have been there before the installation. Also, I felt that for the price, the clean up could have been a little better and the communication after the sale could have been more prompt and attentive. That being said, the crew showed up on the day they were scheduled, though not at the time I thought, and they worked quickly, pulled everything in and out of the garage, and put things away (though not in an organized way). It would also be nice, for the price, to spend an extra hour at the home arranging things where the client would like them.

Overall, they did a very nice job. Showed up on time and finished ahead of schedule. My one complaint was that they just piled my stuff back in a pile in the garage.

This was a good experience from start to finish. GarageTek was very responsive to my initial inquiry in scheduling an appointment. Sales rep. Peter Belman arrived on time and was very personable and efficient. He quickly measured my garage and interviewed me about my needs, expectations, hobbies, etc. I was impressed that he was totally computerized and that I could "see" my proposed garage design immediately. The design program is integrated with the price list, so it was easy to modify the design to fit my budget. There wasn't any high pressure tactic to push me to spend more (although I did end up spending a bit more because the flooring options were so enticing!). The wall cladding crew was separate from the floor finishing crew (two installation dates about a month apart). The wall unit installation crew was on the job before 8am and worked through the adversity of an unexpected power outage (I was able to get generators for them). GarageTek offers a very convenient service of hauling away any unwanted items from your garage; they only ask that you inventory and separate "keep" from "toss". The floor finishing crew also arrived before 8am and got right to work. They clearly explained how long I'd need to stay off the flooring; I just locked up the house and left them there to finish. When I came home, they had very conscientiously propped my garage door open to keep it off the fresh finish--and I got telephone follow-up explaining how the job went and reminding me how long to allow it to cure. I am VERY pleased with the transformation of my garage; it actually feels like a real "room" now, and I smile every time I pull in or out! It feels clean, organized and efficient.

My entire experience with GarageTek has been positive. Peter, Pam and the techs are professional, courteous and just plain friendly. They stand by their product. A year after installation my garage remains organized, looks great and is easy to keep clean. The product is sturdy. I have no worry about it holding up. This was a substantial investment but I feel it's worth the money - both for my use and if I ever sell my place. I'd absolutely recommend this company.

Garagetek designed the garage layout and worked with me on identifying my needs and installed evrything effectively and efficiently. They also were flexible in allowing my to swap storage containers.

I have a small (can touch the ceiling) one car garage that gets used as storage and work space and eventually I want to put my car in (when I replace my antenna to a shorter one). Once I saw the deals with Angie's list, I knew this was faster and better than me building my own organization system. The garage maintains temperature better, in addition to having great modifiable storage that accomodates just about everything, after I cleaned out the garage. BTW, if you clean out the garage before they come to install, they will haul it all away! My garage looks way more spacious and I can easily locate and get whatever I need for the yard or the house. Overall I highly recommend them. One minor problem with the low ceiling height was an T joist that made it impossible to get the larger cabinet size that I wanted because they wouldn't open. But I switched them for smaller ones and no problem. Also very easy for you to adjust and change the system parts around yourself.

Their service was real good. We have used them before. When we were rebuilding we went back to them to do the same thing they did before for us. I would definitely recommend them. We are going to do our garage too; we just haven’t got to that point. They do have a higher price, but with the quality of the work it is a good trade off. We did have a hard time getting in contact with them. Once we got everything scheduled it was fine.

The service was great, the installer was knowledgeable and professional, the final product is outstanding. The reason I gave a C on price isn't this particular vendor's fault - it's just hard to swallow how expensive some of the accessories are to fit the GarageTek wall mounts. But overall, it's really good - my husband won't leave the garage now!

It turned out fine. We are very happy with the product. It was a simple installation. They were in an out quickly. They actually came a week earlier which we weren?t expecting but it was good.

They did a good job. I was very pleased with the whole thing. It was excellent customer service. He came out and met with me explaining everything. He showed me different options. Their prices are good. They are not the least expensive way to do this but the quality was excellent. When they came to install everything, the installation team was professional and showed up on time. They did the work quickly and neatly. When they left everything was cleaned up. There was not left over boxes or parts. I was impressed with the professionalism of the whole process.

The work was done on time and on budget. There was a minor problem with one of the cabinets, but they corrected the problem promptly. I would definitely hire them again to do similar work in another house, were I to move. Potential buyers whould be aware of the fact that the cabinets are made out of plastic and look a lot better in the pictures than in real life. However, I am very happy with the results.

They did the work when they were supposed to and for the price we agreed upon. They are expensive but you get what you pay for.

They promised a one day turn around. They remove all the items in my garage included lawn mower and tools. They took all the storage which was in my garage which was cluttered and copious. They installed the floor, and storage devices. The flooring was elegant. They also installs to walls to hold the storage devices. They promised to do it in one day and sure enough they did.

I was impressed with the finished work. I do have a problem recommending them to a friend because on the original date agreed upon to do the work they were not able to do the work because the materials for the project were not delivered on time. That is understandable. On the day they rescheduled the work to be started they were 3 1/2 hours late. There was no call. A call would have allowed me to get some other thing done instead of waiting around all day. I fault the management. The workers were not informed that a concrete slab was to be power washed. They didn?t bring the equipment and had to come back, since it was too late to start. Once again I fault the management. During job they found out there were not enough tiles to finish the color scheme. They apologized as if this was an everyday occurrence. I expected the job to take 4 to 5 hours instead of 3 days. Nothing was ever by management to smooth over difficulties. That is very poor customer relations to me.

It went very well. It was easy and fast. The first fellow came to the house and told us what we could do it. It was clear. We were able to schedule quickly and get it done quickly.

Estimate was right close to the final price. Had to "manage" the flooring cut-in at a tough angle but the installers managed it no problem. I bought accessories in the ensuing weeks to fill out the wall space.
