I called and left a message, Adrian called back within the hour and set up an appointment. He gave me a short time window--might be my favorite part! MY DAY DIDN'T HAVE TO REVOLVE AROUND A REPAIR!!! I described the problem (told him my husband thought it was a bearing gone bad--Adrian agreed) and gave him the model number. He told me the cost would be $185, which was definitely comparable to that of the repair service of the major retailer from whom I purchased the dryer and expected me to sit around for 4 hours. He showed up on time, dressed professionally, brought the bearing, installed it quickly, and was very personable--an Irish accent on a rainy Monday morning is always a good thing! I highly recommend and would use him again.

All went smooth. He called on time, came on time, did what he said he is going to do, did not make stuff up, charged my credit card, and left. He is honest, punctual, and competent. What else do we, as consumers, need?

The service call went very smoothly.. He arrived on time, I explained the problem, he replaced the water filter (already on hand). It didn't take longer than 10 minutes, including a thorough explanation. It was a simple problem, quickly resolved. Adrian was very professional , very pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate a moment to recommend him. Since I had the new filter on hand, most of the cost of the service was the up-front charge for the service call itself. It should always go so easily!

They are great. The owner is outstanding. He did a very good service and he was very reasonable. He recommended the some things to us that were absolutely obviously for our benefit and clearly not for his benefit. For instance, we asked him if we should repair or replace our dryer which isn't working and our washer which is working but seemed to have a problem. He said the dryer would be more expensive to repair than to replace and he doesn't sell them. So he said "Don't pay anybody to fix the dryer." And the washer he fixed inexpensively and he said that it should last quite a while and there is no reason to replace it. Those are things that we talked about while he was here but he came because one of the elements in the water heater had ceased working and he replaced that. I asked him should he go and replace the other one while he was out and he said, "No. The other one is working just fine.There is no sense paying to replace it if you don't need it." I mean, the guy is just the right guy. We did not end up spending a lot of money but we ended up getting what I think is a very unselfish advice. He is also a pleasant person. The guy is great. I will absolutely call him anytime I ever need appliance help at all. I will simply not consider anybody else unless he cannot do it for some reason.

on time. professional. was straight forward and told its faster and cheaper to get a new dryer since the dryer may have had an electrical issue that is worth more than a new dryer. adrian even recommended what type of dryers to look out for.

I had accidentally gotten fluid into one control on my gas cooktop and it shorted out the electrical ignition system. The owner of the business came out, assessed and explained the problem, told me he would have to order the part from GE and cautioned me that GE was notoriously slow in providing these parts.

Adrian was in the neighborhood on another job and said he could be here in an hour. He found the problem and fixed it quickly. He suggested we have dryer vents cleaned before using the dryer due to lint build-up and once everything was completed we were back doing laundry.

He didn't charge me for the diagnostic. He was very nice.

I called Adrian because our ice maker had stopped working. He answered right away, scheduled an appointment for the next day, and was prompt in his arrival. He took a look at our problem and told me that we had a bigger issue than the ice maker -- the computer chip that runs our fridge was broken. Now, he could have told us the cost of fixing the chip ($700) and been on his way after fixing it but instead he offered a less costly suggestion that didn't put any money in his pocket. It was a very decent thing to do and we were very grateful. I would most definitely use Factor Appliance again -- Adrian's honesty and responsiveness were top notch.

Mr Loughlin arrived on time with the new part in hand. He had my dryer working in under an hour. The price he quoted on the phone was the price he charged me. There were no extra or hidden charges. I will be calling Factor Appliance for all future repairs.

Adrian was extremely helpful when I spoke to him over the phone. I contacted him because I thought our washing machine was out of balance but he reassured me and gave me some simple tips to try over the phone that solved our problem. My husband and I were extremely grateful for his advice. We will definitely not hesitate to call him again in the future in order to hire him to fix any of our appliances.

We have nothing but great things to say about Adrian Loughlin and Factor Appliance. He arrived on time, and quickly set out to diagnose why our washing machine had standing water. I felt like we were watching a doctor diagnose a patient as he went about his business. He also took the time to show us why he was able to eliminate certain possibilities as the cause of the problem. He determined the motor was no longer working, showed us how he came to that determination, and explained that motor replacement would not be worthwhile, given the cost involved, and that we should probably just buy a new washer. He also provided (upon our request) some quick helpful guidelines for buying a new washer. He definitely did not try to upsell. He was also very courteous and his price is very reasonable. We will absolutely be calling Adrian again whenever we have an appliance repair issue.

Adrian quickly assessed the problem, had the part, and was able to get the refrigerator up, running, and freezing.

We called Factor Appliance on October 17th. They scheduled the appointment to check out the freezer and showed up the next day on time. Their over-the-phone pre-diagnosis turned out to be correct. After replacing the thermostat the freezer is as good as new. The technician, Adrian, was pleasant, courteous and professional. When we need large appliance repair in the future, we will definitely be calling Factor Appliance.

Replaced bearings and belts in 1986 GE Dryer, Still operable but needed "updating". Everyhting else is fine!

Provider came on time and replaced the computer chip located in the refrigerator. He also took time to fix shelves and level the frig so that the doors didn't keep opening.

I could not be more pleased. Arrived exactly on time. Found problem, fixed it in a way that would maximize the life of the repair, cleaned up and gave a very reasonable bill. I have complete confidence in the repairman's ability and would not hesitate to use them again.

Refrigerator ice maker was not producing solid ice cubes. Searched Angie's List and found Factor Appliance has excellent reviews and is also based close to my home. Called, discussed problem with Adrian Lough, who described several factors that might be responsible for the ice shells. Adrian arrived promptly for the scheduled appointment. Found a very small crack in the refrigerator water line. Replaced the entire water line, which had been spliced several years ago by another repair service. Adrian was very patient with my questions and my hovering while he worked. I learned a lot, and he could not have been more professional, yet personable. To top it off, the cost of the service was very reasonable. Ice cubes are rock solid now. Factory Appliance is the service I will call for any future appliance repair.

Perfect. The tech showed up on time and did the job quickly.

Sadly my quick fixes did not work. Additionally the part he purchased & brought with him was not the answer. He explained to me that the computer part that would be the real fix was expensive & would need the cost of labor to install it. He could not have been nicer or more honest with me. He took the part off my washer that he brought with him & did not charge me for it. Even though I ended up buying a new washer; I would call for repair help the next time something breaks down.

My experience went very well with this company. The staff was very professional and highly knowledgeable in their field. The pricing was reasonable. I would recommend this company to others.

He was here on time, went right to work, explained exactly what was going on, he was very efficient, and if it happened again he told me how to take care of it.
