Burak and his team did essentially a full gut renovation or our new house in DC. Burak was very attentive to our preferences and offered good insight throughout the project. The quality of the work was very good and Burak did a great job communicating with us throughout the project. The project was complete relatively on time as scheduled and we are very happy with our house.

We hired Burak and his team at Expertiers to gut renovate our basement and kitchen. This work was completed over the course of the pandemic summer, while my family was away, and we were able to work seamlessly together long distance. We live in Georgetown, so we also had to deal with the Old Georgetown Board to receive historic approvals. We would not hesitate to use Burak and his team with any future projects. Fantastic service, communication, craftsmanship all equated to happy customers! We highly reccommend!

We hired Expertiers to finish our large basement (2400 sf). They came and gave us a very fair price, and stuck with it throughout the build. Burak was easy to work with and they were on time, communicated well, and the quality of work was beyond our satisfaction. I would highly recommend them!

I can't say enough good things about this company. Expertiers Design and Build created a two bedroom apartment in a basement. The entire result was perfect, but the bathroom was particularly stunning. As an architect, Burak was able to design a living space that was more beautiful and serviceable than I could have imagined. He was very conscious of my needs and budget. He employs his own crew, so we didn't have to deal with strangers in the house. Hi's crew was friendly, courteous, and showed up every day. The site was left spotless at the end of each day and Burak came by daily to ensure quality work. Additionally, Burak was very patient with last minute changes. His prime concern really seemed to be to create a living space that we would love.

We had a large project, complete basement remodel, created a full bath from a half bath (remove walls) and a total of 3 bathrooms remodels. The team was very professional and would ask at each step what we preferred to ensure the job was getting done to our expectation. They were considerate of the mess while we lived through the whole remodel, they would hang drop clothes to help minimize dust. They were on time and budget. Communication between the team and us were great and as a result we felt that they wanted to do the best and make us happy and just not get the job done. I would recommend this team to anyone.

Had a great experience. They were very helpful by picking me up and taking me different places to make my selections of cabinets and tiles. I've never seen a group of people work any harder than all of them. Hope they do very well with their new business, and I would recommend them to others. Love my new kitchen. I got exactly what I envisioned.

We had a positive experience working with Expertiers on our bathroom remodel. We had recently purchased our first home, and this was the largest project we had taken on. The Expertiers team managed the entire process and worked with us on costs. If we had questions or needed something changed, they worked to find a solution. During the bathroom renovation, we also asked for their assistance on some smaller projects in our house. They were happy to help and again gave us a fair price for the work. Overall, we were pleased with the process and the final product.

I had a great experience with Expertiers. I needed to do a major addition and remodeling project in the historic district of Capitol Hill in Washington DC, and it was a real odyssey. Not only did we have to come up with a functional design in a tightly constrained space, but we had to navigate the byzantine permitting process, hire structural and MEP engineers, find a contractor willing to work in a constrained space, and then finally actually get the thing built. I couldn't have done it without Expertiers' skill and persistence. The historic preservation work in particular took a long time, but Experties did a great job with the plans, and once they went to the DCRA they came back with almost no red ink on them at all. Costs for planning, architecture, and drawings/design were really quite modest. The construction itself was as close to smooth sailing as I could have asked for, and the final product is *beautiful*. It makes it feel like I have a whole new house. I think I'm pretty much done with construction for now, but if I have any more work to be done I'll definitely be going back to Expertiers.
