Envirotreat

Jeff has been coming to the house quarterly for about a year now and has done an excellent job of keeping the mice out of the house. When I first contacted him I had been trapping mice (with kindness traps, then letting them out in the park near - but not too near - my home). Finally, after catching my fifth mouse in my kitchen over several months, I asked Jeff for help. After his first visit, no more mice, although they abound in my neighborhood!

They were very good. They came on time. The quote was a notch below the others. They explained well the process. Their treatment was a less burden on us than the others described. In other words, they were able to do the termite treatment without the need to experience strong odors or move out for a day, or move a lot of furnitures or items. Sometimes, holes have to be drilled internally and we were not forced to physically move around or the furniture. They found a way to accommodate our needs in the process of termite treatment.

I just contracted with him for a years extermination service. He is good, I requested him to leave me a business card with a note, if he comes and we are not home, because he had come out to put traps when we weren't around, and he has done that after my request. He is very personable, very reasonable, and very knowledgeable, that impressed me a lot. He came out to give us a free quotes and he impressed me with his knowledge, and so I just signed up with him for the years contract.

Jeff is very professional and very patient. His responsiveness was very much appreciated as I was very concerned about having termites. He was very thorough in his explanation of why this happened and what he'd be able to do to resolve the immediate problem and prevent future problems from occurring. Envirotreat was my "second opinion", but I chose his company because I felt confident in his ability to take care of the situation. We had the work done and it was transparent. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. While Jeff was here, he also treated our ant problem as a courtesy. I will definitely use Envirotreat for any future infestations we may have. I highly recommend him and his company.

Jeff was excellent! He arrived early (which was fine - it was a hot day and he wanted to get started before it got any hotter). He had explained the whole process to me on his first visit and offered me three different termite treatments. I opted for the most environmentally friendly (love that he offers that option) and he threw in the cockroach treatment for nothing. Have not seen any cockroaches since (or termite swarms). I am very pleased and I will recommend him to anyone who needs termite, cockroach or other pest control. Update (May 2014): Jeff was surprised that we had termites again. He came out and dealt with them. He was efficient and courteous and the termites were duly dispatched. He said that having them come back a year after the treatment is rare, but it does happen and since he had offered a five year contract at a reasonable price ($139) I was happy.

We've used Jeff before and have already praised him in this forum, but we do so again based on work he did for our purchase of a new house. Jeff came out immediately on our request to get a termite inspection of our new house, and did a thorough inspection. While there were no WDI indications (wood destroying insects) within the house, there was indeed some old damage outside to a wooden fence and as a result Jeff suggested a thorough treatment, which was probably a good idea since the previous owner had not ever had any treatments done in the 15+ years he had lived there (and given the amount of wooded area on the property). We were on a fairly tight window to get the treatment done to satisfy our bank's requirements, but Jeff and his crew came through for us despite a particularly rainy week that interfered with getting treatment done. Work was done inside when it was feasible, and on the Sunday right before we closed (on a Monday) within the small patch of sunshine available. I can't possibly express how grateful I am to Jeff and his team for getting the work done, on time, and with their usual standard level of quality to meet our deadline. Jeff really is excellent, and I look forward to working with Envirotreat for years to come for our annual termite contract. Highly recommend.

Jeff came to our home to work on removing mice. He baited the area both inside and outside and explained the process. After several follow-up visits, he determined that the problem would take time, but to be patient with the process. There is a process and Jeff knows his trade very well. After the mice stopped entering the home, the house was screened with metal mesh at any access points. I am pleased to say that we have been mice free ever since!

It has gone extremely well...Jeff is very knowledgeable and is always able to answer questions and provide us with helpful information. We had a bit of an ant infestation in the bedroom a few weeks after the 1st spray so I called Jeff and he came out the next day to spray again. Its been about a week and I have not seen anymore ants...fingers crossed I will continue to not see anymore inside of our home.

Jeffrey has always been very responsive to our needs. When I initially contacted him he was willing to extend his service area to treat our home since we live in Washington County just over the Frederick County line. He was even able to provide same day service inside our home. Since he is environmentally responsible he will not spray with rain in the forecast which meant that he had to return a few days later to treat the outside. Jeffrey has always contacted me prior to coming out for service and keeps his appointments. Our home has never had an insecticide odor from any treatment including the initial interior treatment. Jeffrey is always extremely professional, tells me what he is going to do and makes me aware of any additional issues, such as the hornet's nests. His discovery and spraying of the ground based nest probably saved my wife from being stung next time she weeded the flower bed. Jeffrey has never attempted to up sell additional services or engaged in any pressure sales techniques. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with his services and we have renewed our contract for an additional year. I highly recommend Jeffrey and Envirotreat!

Jeff is highly responsive to our needs. We have a Koi pond, and Jeff knows that he needs to take special care to avoid getting any pesticide in or near or pond. He scheduled our appointment when there is no chance of rain and wind is minimal. Last year the results were great, so we called him back again.

Jeff arrived on time and explained in detail what he was doing and what pesticide he was using. He made sure my dogs were outside and that no children were around. Jeff applied the pesticide only in areas where I had spotted ants and told me what to expect over the next few days. He was careful to place the bait for mice out of reach of my dogs. I've had to rearrange two appointments with Jeff, due to my schedule. He has always been most gracious about rescheduling. I chose a one year service plan and am very happy with Envirotreat.

I had an appointment scheduled for February which Mr. Belmont cancelled that same day and promised to reschedule with me. After not hearing anything, I called him April 1, 2013 and questioned when he was coming. He agrued with me that he came to my home in February and did not believe me when I told him no - he had not. He promised to come that afternoon - again he did not show up. I emailed him the next day questioning why he didn't show up and asking for a parital refund. He called me and rudely told me he had been there and started describing my home and what he did - I told him nothing he described was anything at my home and he basically called me a liar. He did tell me he was going to check into it and would make it right money wise. He left me a voicemail later that morning saying he was sorry - he went to the wrong house and would make it right and refund some of my payment the next week. Well, it is now a month later and I believe his last promise to me was his last lie to me - I never heard from him again and so he kept the $395 I paid him for 4 treatments and I only recevied 2 treatments and lots of empty promises.

Jeff and Envirotreat have been wonderful. We love the low dose approach he uses. We never have a house that smells like its just been treated for bugs, yet we never have bugs. Jeff has gone over and above the call of duty. He is tremendously accommodating, friendly and understanding. Between rain, and my schedule lately we've had a very hard time finding a time to get him in my house. With my spring break plans and starting a new job, he has been super understanding and accommodating to work with my schedule. It's so nice to be pest free and to know that if we ever do have a problem he'll get us on his schedule just as soon as it's possible. Worth every penny and more!! 3/24/14 UPDATE I have Envirotreat on a regular service plan. I continue to be impressed by his responsiveness, politeness and professionalism !

It was easy breazy. He came, he treated. Within about 2 weeks, I had not seen any evidence of any more bugs! It has been about 2 months, and still no evidence.

Envirotreat performed a complete termite inspection, treatment for termites, and additional treatment for other insects. Envirotreat was outstanding! They were on-time, communicated well, educated us on termites and termite damage, were considerate of our home, and performed all work efficiently and effectively. I highly recommend Envirotreat for pest control and will use them again in the future.

We enjoyed working with Jeff and his treatments have been successful. We have two cats and we appreciate that he uses treatments that are as environmentally friendly as possible. We will continue to use him as our exterminator.

They got a few follow-up appointment dates mixed up but over all the experience was fine. It's probably a good idea to comfirm your appt the day before.

I hired Envirotreat to treat the house for stink bugs. Jeff was very accommodating. I purchased three treatments that would reduce stink bugs by 90 percent. The first treatment went fine, but the second and third were past an appropriate time window in my opinion. I still had stink bugs in my house though. I called him, and he offered me an additional treatment, inside and out, complementary. The last time he was supposed to come out, he never showed up, and blamed it on scheduling.

They came out and fumigated. He did a terrific job. The work was excellent; we had concerns initially which he allayed right from the outset (as we had dogs and we were concerned about the exposure). He did all the treatment and came back as promised to check the progress of it; he had left moth traps as well which he came back to check. He was very nice, professional, and he did a good job. I would highly recommend Envirotreat.

I sought out termite treatment when an overly paranoid homeowner (myself) thought there might be termites occupying my garage. Called Envirotreat based on the sterling Angie's List reputation and had Jeff Belmont (owner/proprietor) come out SAME DAY which was pretty outstanding. Jeff did not see any signs of an infestation and - much to his credit - did not try to push me on any services, but gave a broad brushstroke of what services he offered. Given the prices offered and the reputation - to say nothing of Jeff's own exceedingly straightforward and honest presentation, I opted for the services as a preventive measure. Getting a time scheduled for the treatment was somewhat more difficult due to a range of factors - my own scheduling issues, and a couple of scheduling issues on Jeff's end, as well as thoroughly uncooperative weather. With lesser vendors, I might have cancelled, but I knew that I wanted Jeff and Envirotreat to be the ones to do my termite treatment. And so, we got most of our treatment done yesterday. Jeff and a helper came out and worked totally efficiently, kept me apprised of everything going on (including a change in plan on how they were going to have to apply the product) - and were extremely mindful of keeping everything tidy. They worked diligently and conscientiously, and Jeff paid close attention to the weather to ensure that the temperature did not drop below 40 while product was being applied. I have the feeling that other larger firms would have rushed the job or, worse, applied product while the temperature was below 40 thus nullifying the benefits of the treatment. They got everything except some outdoor work done yesterday and are planning to return on the next 40+ degree day, and I couldn't be more grateful. As a homeowner, one hopes not to have to meet pest control people, but I sure am glad that my own paranoia brought me to Jeff and Envirotreat. Their Angie's List awards are clearly well-earned, and - not to say that I hope to have frequent future dealings on account of bugs! - but I would welcome them in my house any time. Spot-on service, fantastic prices, and excellent customer service. Thank you, Envirotreat!

Jeff Belmont (owner) has been great to work with. He is extremely responsive by phone and e-mail and makes sure we are satisfied with the outcome. Much greater level of personal service than the other pest companies we tried in the past.

It went as well as could be expected. Jeff and his crew were always prompt, curtioius, and knowledgeable. Getting rid of bed bugs is extremely difficult. Jeff knew what had to be done, walked us through all of the steps, and was on call to answer any questions that came up--and several did. A lot of the preparation is up to the homeowner. This infestation had gotten into mattresses in three bedrooms. They'd even gotten into the rugs. There's a lot of work necessary before an exterminator can begin--throwing out the most highly contaminated matresses, pillows, comforters, etc. Covering the remaining matresses and pillows with bed bug proof coverings. Removing and bagging all clothing, sheets, blankets, towels, etc. from closets and drawers. Working with Jeff, we were confident that we had taken all steps necessary. Jeff and his crew came and exterminated the necessary areas of the house 4 times. Three is normal, but this was a bad infestation. We are now bed bug free. Envirotreat does have a policy that if you see bed bugs after the last treatment, that they'll come back at no charge. I'm sure there is a time limit on that, but since we did not need it, I don't know what it is.

It went well. Had a scheduling mess up (came the wrong day) but Jeff has been attentive to getting the job done.

Enviotreat was my first choice based on the reviews here, but our schedules didn't match this week, so I choose another contractor. Based on our conversation, I'd call them again in the future.

The effort started out very well with Jeff willing to come out on short notice to give us a second opinion on a house. We also had a fair and open discussion on Jeff's limitations on conducting a full inspection himself the day of the visit. He offered to come out for a second visit which was fair. However, getting a usable copy of the inspection report was a problem. The report he sent was simply unusable due to a poor quality scan (e.g. page was skewed to the point where the sellers signature box was off the page). I kindly asked several times for a better copy that we could use in our real estate transaction and he refused to send it. He simply claimed it had been sent 3 times. I even sent back a copy of what he sent to show what I was talking about. Not having the report rendered the effort useless. I asked for a refund and it was refused. He continued to claim he had sent it three times and simply wished me well. He also seemed angry that I refused doing a moisture test in the walls. There was now refusal. We only had a conversation about the test including the price and I said I might consider it at a later date. And how that anything to do with getting a copy of a report is beyond me. It makes no sense. It would have taken two seconds to take a picture smart phone to get a better copy. I have no explanation for such a lack of professionalism.
