My contacts were with a team of individuals: Margie Hennessey, Brenda Ridgley, and Mina Lee. Margie was the senior loan officer. I worked with her closely in the beginning, understanding my options, and identifying when I should lock in to my interest rate. She was very communicative the entire time, and helped me understand all of my options. I purchased my first home during the housing boom, so the game has definitely changed since then. Brenda and Mina came on board once I had locked in my loan, and were the team members responsible for successfully getting me to closing. I was in regular contact with them, either asking them questions, or following up on providing them the necessary documentation for underwriting. All three ladies were a dream to work with. When there was a financing hiccup with the purchaser of the property I was selling, they were very understanding and kept in communcation with me in order to identify if there needed to be any changes with the closing of my new property. Prior to finding Embrace, I had been in contact and actually pre-approved through another lender. However, when it became crunch time, that lender fell of the face of the planet. Good things come, and I found Embrace, and this wonderful team. I would STRONGLY encourage anyone who is purchasing in Virginia to use this wonderful team, I have not one bad thing to say.

Jeremy Moreithi was our loan officer. He made the process simple, answered all old our questions and did not pressure us to decide sooner than we were ready.

Everything went very well. We chose Brad over several other mortgage companies as he offered the lowest rate of all. He gave us a pretty accurate estimate of cost of mortgage and their services. His fees were very reasonable too. After the underwriting was done there were couple fees that were not included in the initial estimate, so we questioned that and Brad immediately gave us credit for those fees. He and his team were great at communicating. He was open to questions and addressed each of our questions and concerns honestly and openly. Brad assured us not to worry about mortgage being processed before closing and kept his word. We had everything ready 10 days prior to closing. It was quite a different experience than the brief exposure we had to Bank of America where mortgage officer was uncommunicative and wouldn't answer our questions without showing her annoyance. Thank god that deal didn't go through and we were extremely happy with finding Brad Cohen. Would recommend him to anybody.

From the first time we talked with her on the telephone to the concluding settlement activities, Carol Tillson was fantastic. She is very knowledgeable about the whole loan process and efficient in responding to our inquiries, yet personable. She made an overwhelming process much easier to handle.
