Rob was very responsive via the phone and email (he usually responds next day for emails, but I understand, he's working during the day). I called him and two other plumbing companies up and stated my case and work. Rob works on his own so I got him to call me back. The other two companies have answering services so I really couldn't get much information out of them. After speaking with Rob, I was very confident in his professionalism and his client service. I did get quotes back from the others, but I wasn't very happy with their level of detail and willingness to answer my questions. We scheduled a date and time and he was very punctual and friendly. He worked most of the day to get the job done and stopped to explain things and educate me on different plumbing terms and code. He was the ONLY plumber that I called had experience with the kind of backup pump solution AND was very knowledgable with the pros and cons of each system. All the other plumbers relied on one system and didn't even bother to research new or better ways do handle backup pumps. Again, Rob was friendly, knowlegable, and very professional. He may not have been the cheapest (he wasn't the most expensive quote either), but I trusted him throughly. With something like a sump pump, I didn't want to leave that to just anyone after our recent flood. I fully recommend him and I will be in touch with him for future plumbing jobs.

Rob diagnosed the problem and explained what he needed to do. He went straight to work in fixing it. When finished he did a great job of cleaning up and explaining to me what was done. I will hire him again if I have plumbing problems.

Rob responded immediately to my request and provided me with a reasonable estimate. During the day he communicated with me regarding when he would be at the house to complete the job and he was true to his time estimate. He was very knowledgeable and personable, took care of the clogged tub, and even gave me recommendations on a couple of other plumbing issues. He was super courteous, professional, and more than a little bit charming. He worked with me on the price a lot and kept in regular communication with me about the part arriving. He even stayed up late at night to make sure my permitting paperwork was completed and I received it fine. He's a pretty awesome plumber, and I completely intend to call him again should any of my future pipes break.

I live in an old house (1930) with old pipes and slow drains. Unfortunately, my bathroom sink clogged the day before I was supposed to host a large party. I contacted Eire Plumbing and Rob was able to come the same day. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and set right to work. When he was finished, Rob made sure the work area was clean and explained the work he'd performed. The rate for service was very reasonable and less than I'd paid for a similar issue in another property. Large companies can be hit-or-miss with different people coming to your house each time. The company motto is "Service you can trust." Since Eire Plumbing is a one-man shop, I know I will always get the same quality service!

He was great with communication, knowledgeable, very flexible, very professional, and overall better than the majority of companies that I've worked with over the last couple months (had a flooding in the basement and have gone through a lot of renovation work since the drywall was already ripped down). Will definitely work with him again for future work!

Plumber provided valuable advice about plumbing products for future reference and offered to repair, but decided replacement would be more useful.

Rob from Eire Plumbing installed a toilet for me today. After having a terrible experience with another Angieslist provider's 'deal' for a toilet installation that same morning Rob made time to come out and take care of the install that afternoon. He was professional, made time for me on the same day (w/o any 'emergency' costs), explained all costs, dealt with some specific issues, and did a great job. I made mistake trying a 'big deal' provider that was priced too good to be true. Go with Rob and you won't be surprised or disappointed.

Rob arrived when he said he would and did a very satisfactory job. He's one of the most pleasant people I've met in a long time -- easy to talk to and willing to answer any questions or concerns. He was very thorough, checking first whether the hose bib could be repaired (it couldn't) and then installing a new one. Not only will I call him for future needs, I would without any hesitation at all recommend him to friends, family and neighbors.

It went great. We wanted a water line for our new refrigerator. The line was connected through the floor to a pipe below in the ceiling of the basement. Everything went smoothly. The plumber took great care with his work, he was communicative, and professional.

See above explanation. He was super! Clearing a troublesome and slow toilet as well as replacing and aged sump pump. As far as I'm concerned Rob is my first choice for any pluming needs. He gets the highest rating because he earned it!

I bought a package covering the plumber's visit and 30 minutes of labor. He came, took off the panel at the back of the tub and determined that the leak must be because of cracks in the caulking. When I suggested he take care of the caulking as part of the 30 minutes of labor I paid for, the repariman said that no, his time was up and that I would have to pay for at least an additional hour. I felt that I was ripped off.

Installed new toilet, checked main water line, and pressure reducer, fixed disposal. Great experience. Very responsive, knowledgeable, and can do. Will use again.

Great! I purchased a $99.00 Deal. The gentleman arrived on time was friendly and efficient. He was willing to use MY part supplied by Kohler under warrantee. Many providers I called were not.

Rob is a salt of the earth guy and an exceptional master plumber! He took time to give me a detailed estimate that made total sense including explaining differences between brands of disposals and why I should get the brand he recommended. Not only was he prompt, courteous, super clean and professional--he shoveled our walk since it had snowed a bit last night! He never even mentioned that he did it. He took time to explain each and every detail of the job which was a deluxe disposal install. He actually taught me some great preventative maintenance tips and tricks as well! His cleanliness and attention to detail is beyond measure, and on top of all that--he was in and out in record time and took the old disposal out of here. He has us as loyal customers; no question about it.

There were many unexpected turn of events which led from an Angie's big deal visit during which the problem was diagnosed to a 3 3/4 hour visit to repair pressure. Once it was established that the faucet was old and no cartridge was available, we selected a new faucet, Rob ordered it and we scheduled a visit. Rob is an excellent communicator, and when it looked like he would be delayed for our appointment, he called to say so. Upon arrival, Rob had difficulties removing the old faucet, had to replace the piping and drain trap because it apparently broke, and took pains to complete the job. I was surprised by the time it took, but these things are not predictable. Because of the customer service, we would use Eire Plumbing again, but we will be mindful of the time it takes to complete services. We did have sticker shock, but then again, we have not had such a problem in the past where we could compare services/prices.

Rob is a nice guy, easy to work with. Highly recommend. The shower repair was pretty quick and very effective. Getting the toilet to sit correctly was more extensive / expensive than I anticipated, but quality of work seems very good. I would trust Rob's recommendations and expertise.
