We'd purchased our home just a few months prior, and had some issues with the kitchen sink. Rob from Eire swooped in and inspected every connection. It turns out that, during a remodeling of the kitchen prior to our purchase, the workers never sealed the sink drain pipe to the main standpipe drain inside the kitchen wall. He corrected it on the spot. I also told him I was thinking about replacing the aging faucet with something more functional. Rob helped me identify, acquire and then installed the faucet himself. Site conditions were always pristine. Rob is calm, cool, quick and efficient.

Overall we are very pleased with his service. He came within the stated time window, was professional, pleasant, and did very nice work. In addition to what we had asked of him, he did answer a question we had about our water main. We can't shut the water off completely which could be a problem later on. Chances are good we will have him do the work for us. Thanks!

He was a few hours later than he had expected. But, when he called he explained that he was held up on his last job. He explained everything that he was doing thoroughly and answered all questions. We expect that we will have him back to repair a bathroom faucet. Very good experience.

It went very well. I had actually scheduled Rob Clem to replace my garbage disposal 2 weeks prior, however the storm that came through the area resulted with me losing my power for 6 days, so my plans changed. I rescheduled with him for 7/16/2012. The time that he gave me was the time frame that he arrived, despite having a larger job before mine. He was prepared, professional, and communicated everything he was doing, as well as answered my questions about some basic plumbing. He even went above and beyond the job I hired him to do and adjusted a hose to my dishwasher, thereby alleviating a long-standing problem that I had with my dishwasher. Rob performed this task without charging me extra! When he finished working, he cleaned his area well and the replacement of my disposal was to my satisfaction. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

We called in the late morning, and he came by around 5PM the same day to fix the leak. He's very professional, neat and quick.

The guy’s name that we worked with there was Rob Clem. The pricing was a little bit expensive but in reality, for a plumber; no surprises there. For the timeliness and the effort that he put in, deserves credit.

Mr. Clem was able to come to the house the week that I called him. He was right on time. He then systematically tracked down and diagnosed the problem which was quite impressive. He next repaired the toilet that was the cause. HIs price for the work was very reasonable.

This guy is wonderful! He did the under-sink work quickly and efficiently. He can talk to women without being patronizing, and he explains what needs to be done in clear, detailed language. He obviously respects your wish to not spend any more than necessary on a project, and lets you know ahead of time if something is going to cost more than you originally thought it would. When we decided to replace the water heater, he was able to find the kind we wanted and install it the same day. He explained all the new (well, in the 20 years since the old one was installed) code requirements and briefed me on care of the new machine. When you move to a new house, you have to search out expert help with health care, electricity, plumbing and so many other things. Well, I've found a plumber and I'm very pleased!

A bathroom toilet came loose and would not tighten. I called Rob and set up an appointment for a couple days later. He arrived on time and worked on it for over an hour. The toilet required reseting and shimming since the previous job was not set well. Rob also replaced some parts and cleaned some mineral deposits slowing the flush. He provided some advice on keeping it flowing.

Our house experienced a sewer backup the night we got home from the hospital with our newborn daughter. It was a Saturday night. I emailed several plumbers, including Rob of Eire, and he got back to me early the next morning (Sunday), one of the first plumbers to do so. He had the best ratings on Angie's List and offered to come over immediately, so he got my business. When he arrived, he fed his snake as far as it would go down the sewer line -- almost 100 feet -- but couldn't locate any major blockage. He concluded, correctly, that the blockage was beyond my property line, and he contacted WSSC for me because it was their responsibility to clear it and to reimburse me for Rob's fee. He also helped me understand what to expect, both in terms of their procedure for snaking the line and for reimbursing me.In the end, WSSC successfully cleared the line late that evening, and eventually reimbursed me in full. Rob was helpful in following up with them to expedite the reimbursement, which might have taken months without his help. My only minor regret is that I didn't discuss Rob's fee structure with him (specifically, how many hours are included in his initial flat fee, and his hour rate for longer jobs and for emergency work) in more detail before he started the work. As a result, I had a bit of sticker shock when he wrote up the bill for more than I was expecting it to be. That said, I think he was entirely reasonable about pricing (and luckily, WSSC reimbursed me anyway); I just hadn't asked enough questions so I was a bit surprised. He was very professional and helpful in explaining things, and he was mindful to keep my house as clean as possible -- even suggesting that I move a couple of things before WSSC arrived in order to minimize the chance that they'd be less careful than him and make a mess. It turned out to be good advice.

After 2 phone calls over several days, leaving messages both times for plumbing services, I finally got hold of them. I was told Rob would call me which he did but a day later. He told me he had a big plumbing job to finish up that week before he could get to my jobs. But Rob also told me he would probably get to my jobs by the end of the week. I told him that was fine and to give me a call when he was available. Well that was over 2 weeks ago and I still haven't heard back from him about starting my job. I also called, and once again had to leave a message, and told Rob how he never called me back and that the work was completed by another company. So I called Ken Griffin Plumbing, which I should have done in the first place. Not only did they answer the phone the first time I called, but an appointment was set up and the work was completed that same week. They did a great job and I will definitely call them again the next time I need any plumbing services. In hindsight I will never again use a company just because of a coupon or because they are listed on Angie's List. If a company doesn't answer the phone or call you back in a timely fashion.....DON'T use them. There are plenty of other great services in the area ready and willing to do the work!!

Rob gave a detailed rundown of what to expect from the old garbage disposal and how long it might last. He actually volunteered fixing the old unit, even though we expected to replace it. Re the ceiling leak, he could have easily done a lot more work, but not done any more to solve the problem than he actually did. I was very impressed with his professionalism and genuine intent to solve problems as inexpensively as possible. He thoroughly explained all the issues behind the leak, and both short-term and long-term solutions. We will need to replace some units in the bathrooms and will definitely call Rob at Eire for all future work.

I highly recommend Eire plumbing. Rob was great - he was able to schedule me the same day I called. He walked me through what he was doing and was very thorough in explaining what was going on and how he was going to proceed. He was up front with how much he thought it was going to cost and stayed close to the projected price. We will definitely use him again and I will recommend him to friends!!

Rob showed up on time and was friendly and professional. He diagnosed and fixed our clogged drain. Everything was perfect and Rob even called about a week later to make sure everything was still working properly. I would recommend him to all of my friends and call him again for any plumbing need!

First, Rob made an excellent recommendation where I could get the replacement toilet. After purchasing the toilet, I call Rob for the install. We decided on a time. He arrived and did an excellent... really superb job with the install. The new install is very neat and very solid. He was very professional and courteous. He explained everything he was doing very well. I like to ask lots of questions, and he answered them all very patiently and with great expertise. He took the old toilet away. I would definitely use his services again and I would very highly recommend him to others.

I called, and Rob said he could probably make it out later in the afternoon, and that he would call later to confirm. He did call back and made it out the same day. He asked me some questions to make sure he understood the problem, and then went to work. When he was done, he cleaned up very well after himself. Rob was friendly and professional. I was happy with the quality of the work, his punctuality and the price.

Eire went above and beyond the call of duty to help, including contacting Howard County and other plumbers. He was extremely fair in price and was dilligent about finding out what the problem was. I'd recommend him to anyone!

Rob was very helpful. We decided to add a shower to a basement bathroom which required digging up the floor. Rob found a contractor who could finish the rest of the work (which we usually would have done ourselves) for a reasonable price. It is the nicest bathroom in the house! Everything was cleaned up at the end of the job.

Rob provided exceptional service. He's a nice guy, very professional, and was able to come to my home very quickly. I discovered a leak in my basement, and couldn't determine where it came from. I called and spoke to Rob. He indicated that he would be able to come by in an hour. He was right on time and was able to determine the cause of the leak within a few minutes. He quickly fixed the problem. He advised me what to do to prevent future problems. I will call Rob for all future plumbing needs.

I had a leaky spigot on the backside of the house. Rob called back the same day, and came out the next day. He replaced the entire hose bib, working in my cramped basement to soder (sp?) the pipes back together. Good service, professional, and everything works great. Thanks!

It went very well. Rob returned my voice mail and promised to get to our house in the afternoon. He arrived within minutes of his estimate. Other plumbers called couldn't get to the house for a week!
