Rob is really nice and very thorough in his inspection. I wish his estimate had been as detailed. The estimate was simply too high for our budget.

I contacted Rob via email late night after reviewing other people's reviews on Angie?s List. Rob contacted me early the next morning and asked me to send a few pictures of my issues in a spare bathroom we were preparing to have a house guest for a few months. The shower needed repair from leaking faucet, toilet needed replacing and we wanted to ensure the bathroom plumbing was in good working order as this is a basement spare bathroom that gets little use. After e-mailing a few pictures Rob promptly called me back and gave me his initial thoughts on the job and how he could do the most efficient job that would be cost beneficial to us. I must say I really appreciate Rob's honesty and quick service scheduling. He told us it would be most cost effective to re-build the shower faucet rather than replace it as we would have had to tear out a brick wall and that would have added a lot of cost to this job. Rob showed up on time with the correct parts/tools/attitude and answered all of our questions and even provided advice for some future improvement plans. Sometimes is seems like it is hard to find a trustworthy and reliable person when you need something down quickly but I never felt this way contacting Eire Plumbing. I will definitely contact Rob in the future when we are ready to begin our larger remodel project for our bathroom as well as for any other plumbing needs. He has a fantastic attitude and was polite and patient answering all of our questions. I would also not hesitate to recommend Rob and Eire Plumbing to any of my friends or family for any plumbing needs. Thanks for your help!

Extremely well. I contacted Rob via e-mail requesting an in home inspection and estimate for the installation of a new 75 gallon power vent gas hot water heater. I live on the 3rd floor of a 4 story condo building and wanted to replace my 12 year hot water heater before I developed more severe problems. Rob responded to my e-mail within 24 hours and scheduled an appointment for an in home consultation. Rob is a superb master plumber, very professional, a wealth of knowledge with much experience. He performed a thorough inspection taking photographs and measurements. We discussed the available options as well as the plan for installation. Rob contacted me shortly thereafter with his estimate. We both were concerned about the integrity of some of the main valves and copper pipes and decided to have them replaced as well. The removal of the old hot water heater and the installation of my new one was seamless. Rob as well as his assistant were absolutely meticulous in all aspects of their work. It is quite obvious to me that Rob takes great pride in his work. He did a wonderful job. I plan to contact Rob for all my future plumbing needs. Rob arrived on schedule and examined the pipework throughout the house to establish the correct drainage path and distance. He explained that if the could reach the blockage with his standard 'snake' then there would be a flat rate charge of $150 but that if he had to call in heavier duty equipment to clear it or perform other work then of course the cost would be different and he would provide an estimate for the work. He said he was fairly confident that we wouldn't need to resort to anything else. This is exactly how it turned out. Rob set to with his powered snake and within 15 mins had found and cleared the block. He reassembled the pipework and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards before fully testing the flow. I was very impressed with his workmanship, professionalism and pleasant personality. Would definitely use Rob again and have no hesitation recommending him to other Angie's List members

When Rob came back with his contractor (Yata Remodeling) and they collectively provided several different options to fix a nightmare of a problem caused by the other contractor. We opted to have the entire shower removed and replaced. They worked with us to be fair on the price and time line. Our experience with Erie Plumbing: - The entire project took 8 days, well under the 3 week time frame they anticipated. - The work included demolition of the previous shower, plumbing, electrical and tiling. - They communicated with us everyday on the status of the project. - They ensured that the debris and dust was kept to a minimum and covered all the furniture everyday they worked. - They were sympathetic and understanding to all of our concerns especially given the experience we had with another contractor. We are so happy that we found Erie Plumbing! They saved our master bath renovation and our sanity!

Rob arrived as scheduled and performed the required work in a professional and expeditious manner. He provided me with information on what he was doing and why which I found very helpful.

The garbage disposal was no longer working due to a leak in the body. I contacted Eire Plumbing via email with the issue and other plumbing concerns. Received an email reply from Rob to let me know when he would give me a call and as promised he called on that day and we scheduled an appointment. Rob replaced the garbarge disposal, sink strainer and stopper. He also checked the water heater which is fine now but should be replaced sooner rather then later. I was very pleased with the prompt service, his professionalism and explanations for a few other plumbing concerns. I plan to use Eire Plumbing again.

Eire plumbing came out to help me diagnose the source of ceiling water stains, which we suspect was a hot tub on the upstairs floor. the evaluation was on time, professional, and thorough. Ultimately we concluded that the issue was a roofing issue not the hot tub. I would contact this company for plumbing work in the future.

Overall, I was very pleased with Rob, his knowledge, professionalism, and courtesy. He explained things in detail and I learned much in the process about copper pipes. My one minor criticism is that the invoice should have been itemized (i.e how much was labor/parts). The total came to $300 and then he applied the Angie's List discount coupon without any problems. I will definitely recommend and use in the future. Thanks Rob!

He did a great job. He was very helpful to us. He also did a full inspection on another issue we had - without additional charge.

The plumber was polite and efficient and resolved the issue in less than 30 minutes.

We called Eire Plumbing the evening we discovered the kitchen sink leak, got a call back from Rob early the next morning, and he arrived later that day to fix all three problems. He was not only responsive but prompt, professional, very personable, and quite obviously fully professional. We were very pleased with the service and have put Eire on the list to deal with any future plumbing problems.

I called in the morning to see about availability for an emergency. A pipe burst in the ceiling of the basement. I decided to go with another company who could get there a little faster, but that company never showed up or called! Crazy! Eahrhardt - by the way. I called back at 530 and Eire was here by 615. Will definitely use again, already have another project planned and scheduled.

Rob found nothing to indicate what was causing the smell (was like something between sauerkraut cooking and sewage smell) . Oddly, I smelled it in my bedroom, which has the master bath adjacent, but not in the bathroom. Also, at times my kitchen sink (with disposal) seemed to drain slower than expected. He gave me some tips both for keeping that sink draining as it should and for preventing sink & tub/shower traps from drying out, which can cause odors.

i called him on 18th. he gave me a window yesterday from 11-1. came around 12. Saw the work, gave the estiamte and completed it without any issues.

He performed the job in a timely manner and was able to offer feedback regarding a few other plumbing issues around the house. We were very happy with his work and would contact him again.

As I said above, it was a quick and easy fix. He assessed the problems quickly, had what he needed with him, and did the work quickly.

I had a late night, last minute drain backup in my kitchen. Water was rising in my sinks and spilling out of the dishwasher. Rob came over, rearranging his schedule, to tackle this problem for me. He was in and out in no time, and cleaned up after himself. Turns out it only needed to be snaked, but he was a life safer for me...AGAIN! The guy is good people, and I WILL use him again.
