Working with Maryam was such a joy! She has such a calm and calming demeanor, as well as great ideas and taste. Her thoughtfulness and professionalism cannot be understated. From our initial consultation, I knew I would enjoy working with her and the final organization looks...she did my primary bedroom, office/guestroom closet, linen and front closets. Each time we finished a session, both my space and I felt lighter and more relaxed. When the full project was complete, the whole house felt so much more welcoming and lighter...and I haven't missed any of the items I donated or trashed.

Maryam (owner of 'Edit in Style) surpassed any and every expectation I could ever have hoped for in her work with me organizing my home. It was in great Disorder and that can cause apprehension and a lot of nerves about even approaching the process. Maryam put me at ease from the moment she walked in my door. She not only made my home the most comfortable, workable, and organized it has been in the 20 years I've owned it, she offered fantastic design aesthetic advice, so it also looks and feels like a Professionally decorated brand new house!!! In addition, what makes her truly unique, as can many times be a legitimate factor and was for me, the unruly condition of my home was related to some major stress struggles that we all face in this often incredibly busy life, and it can manifest for some in how they allow Disorder to enter their living space. As it gets worse, turning it around can seem a million miles away. Maryam has a background in Behavioral Therapy and while she never pushed this, as we became more familiar during my personal process, she offered her advice freely - person to person, but only when asked for. I never felt pushed or invaded. She ended up being integral to the physical beautiful transformation of my home both in how it lives so easily. It was done in a way that has been easy to maintain, and throughout she treated me in such a gracious caring way as a person; more than just an average client. As we moved this, and threw away that, she helped me deal with many of the root causes behind how my mindset and approach to life had gotten me to this point in the first place. That was NOT something I could ever have hoped to be so fortunate to encounter from a peofessional home organizer. But lucky me indeed. What makes Maryam (Edit in Style)so special and so perfect for anyone with an experience like mine, is that - when applicable and welcomed - she is willing to go beyond merely establishing an easy, organized, sharp looking home that is a joy to navigate (which she does with great skill). She went way above and beyond to assist me to eliminate that feeling of being overwhelmed or just having so much "stuff" it seemed impossible to turn it around. She is an A+ Pro at getting organized, but she also has helped me as a human being turn my life around during the challenging process of letting go of clutter and old clothes and so much more to reveal the simple beauty of my home and unburden the stress of feeling unable to dig myself out of the disorderly surroundings stressing me out every day I lived surrounded by it. She is both a consumate professional in her Organization services (tireless and inventive and thoughtful in straightening and decluttering) she is also a good person. She has a calm demeanor, while still having a drive to help whatever your needs may be. She is the perfect choice for someone who just wants more workable closet space but also for someone with a more serious deeper seemingly hopeless mess. For anyone who feels they just can't dig out, Maryam brings a special background, skillset and personality, and I truly cannot imagine a better choice for a small area that just needs to flow better, some help working through parting with all of the old extra 'stuff' you know you should move on from but can't seem to get yourself to do it, or for someone like me who had all but given up. Now I not only have a neat, tidy home I am proud of, the way she guided setting it up is SO easy to maintain, and I am proudly inviting people over again to show my 'new' place off and love my home more than when I even bought it in the first place. She won't try to push any advice or delve into your issues unless you invite that type of process, but she is truly unique in that she knows how to deal with the emotional side of parting with items and opening...

Maryam has changed the energy and feel of our home with her keen eye, unmatched work ethic, intuitive awareness of her clientâ s life needs and challenges and remarkable attention to detail. She had a monumental task ahead of her in our home - a multigenerational family with mobility challenged elders and extremely active youngsters all sharing one roof. To create a feeling of spaciousness and privacy with so much going on under one roof - and decades worth of accumulated stuff - was no small task. I initially hired her to declutter and organize our garage, which was stuffed wall to wall with memorabilia, papers, clothes, holiday ornaments, luggage, kitchen appliances - you name it. With her meticulous ability to think systematically though a project and achieve incredible results, she transformed my garage into a beautiful space (and thatâ s saying a lot for a garage!) It literally changed the energy and momentum of our homeâ ¦. She has since transformed, or is in the process of transforming, so many spaces in our home. She reconfigured our bedroom set ups, moving several of us into newly organized bedrooms, while also creating office spaces that we didnâ t know we could use, decluttering and creating new entertainment spaces and more. Her work in our home continues but I am already so much more productive and rested than I have been in years, thanks to her. Maryam has gone out of her way to find furniture pieces to fit our needs and vision - all while working tirelessly to declutter and reorganize. Sometimes we work along side her, sometimes we donâ t. She is able to be flexible and accommodate her clientâ s limitations without compromising on results. I canâ t say enough about Maryamâ s care and highly individualistic approach. She goes above and beyond to think through your project, research ideas, price points and options to a degree I have never experienced with any other organizer (and I have worked with several). She is not formulaic in her approach like others who just use the same system over and over in house after house. These are only some of the attributes that set Maryam apart from other organizers I will update this review when our project reaches completion, but I can already comfortably say that of all the organizers I have worked with, Maryam is the only one I would re-hire again and again. She has literally spoiled me forever. Maryam has now become a trusted member of our family circle through her incredible commitment to our projectâ ¦. Maryam Tavosi has done everything that she said she would do and more. That everything has included totally reorganizing my living and work spaces, making those spaces easier to maintain and hygienic, and restoring my own morale and good humor. She has always focused on what needed to be done, rather on what she was or was not required to do. She was encouraging me to develop my own standards for order and cleanliness. Talking about fantastic job! We asked Ms. Maryam from Inspired Look to organize our cluttered kitchen. What she accomplished was beyond our expectations. After patiently assessing the space and taking some pictures, she sat down and ask us what we wanted. She then came up with a couple of different plans. She reassured us that she would revitalize our kitchen. Thanks to her clever suggestions and ideas, she de-cluttered the space, and artfully organized our entire kitchen cabinets and pantry. She made sure the items we needed are always where there are supposed to be and easily within reach. In a nutshell, she was punctual, responsible, honest, and compassionate about her job.

I cannot say enough good things about Maryam and her husband! Not only was she VERY quick at responding to my initial post (looking for help organizing my dads garage) but she was on time to my parents house all the way in Spokane, WA, and did nothing less than miracle work on their garage! I was speechless with the end result. My father LOVED working with both Maryam and her husband, he actually had fun cleaning his garage, and now my mom can park her car in there for the first time ever! She got him to get rid of things he didn t need, and was able to organize the things he decided to keep in a way that is not only easy to keep organized, but easy to find when he needs them.
