Custom Carpet Shop closed last year!

I was told exactly where I would see seams which I appreciated and those minor seams where perfectly acceptable to me. However, I was not told where seaming would be in master bedroom.The result is so unsightly, glaring and 2/3rds into room. I tried for months to try for some peaceful resolution w/Custom Carpets to no avail. Carpet layers who were very nice told me that carpet could have been seamed in a less conspicuous vertical way. VP told me that it was not visible from back windows where he stood to a**** , but who enters second floor from a window???? Suggested to me that I buy a large rug or bench to cover seam. Nothing more than that , I would have been ok with their accommodating me in any way but their best was for me to repurchase more of same and they would re-lay at their cost. Have been far too non confrontational with them.

Although the initial salesperson quoted us a price a bit out of our range, I spoke with the manager, who was able to find us similar but less expensive carpet that was in our range. Apparently, the salesperson we initially worked with had been a problem in the past and is no longer with the company. After the manager, Jack, took over, everything ran great. The carpet looks great and was installed very professionally.

SINCE THIS TIME, I CONTACTED THEM ABOUT A CARPETING JOB - VERY POOR RESPONSE. SO MUCH SO I HAVE DECIDED TO GO WITH GREAT INDOORS INSTEAD.
