I reached out to several roofing companies to fix a frustrating leak in our garage roof which was preventing us from actually being able to use the interior of our garage. We weren't really sure where to start but started exploring "flat roof repair" and found Complete Roofing Solutions. The owner, Chris responded the next day to my website inquiry with a date for an estimate which was completed by Luis a couple of days later. We were impressed at how thoughtfully he explored the problem and offered a couple of options to address it. We received the written estimate from Chris quickly and decided to move forward with the more thorough option to cover the flat roof with TPO and install new flashing so that we wouldn't have to deal with more issues down the road. We felt the price was very fair. Luis and his crew arrived promptly and he had clearly thought through the installation (it was a bit tricky in some areas). We were really impressed with the professionalism and thoughtful problem-solving. They really went above and beyond to seal any water penetration and make sure every trouble spot was addressed. After the work was finished, the area was left completely clean. And we can attest to the quality of the work as the very next morning we had a major downpour. The garage was dry for the first time since we've owned the house. We highly recommend Chris and his team and will contact them again for any other roofing issues down the road.

Chris sent his team to photograph the roof 2 years ago. He gave me a quote and this year, 2 years later, he adhered to the contract and the work was completed. The team arrived on time, they stripped out the old roof, lots of debris in the back yard, replaced with new material including a new skylight. The team completely removed all trash. The team was very efficient and completed all work in 1 day At the conclusion of the work, Chris called me and sent me about 30 pictures of the entire process to completion. Yes, I would hire them again.

I have had them work on my roof 3 times--two times for minor repairs and this time to replace the entire roof. They were excellent with communication for scheduling, did a great job on the roof and left the worksite spotless. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Chris gets the Honest Guy Award of the day - by saying "no." :-) After describing my repair need, Chris said it was just outside their wheelhouse of capability. He offered his insights into the repair and what might be needed and what type of contractor to look for. It was clear he had the technical knowledge, and also clear he had the self knowledge to focus on what they did best.

Update: I am changing my deleted "D" rating to an "A", and yes, I would hire this company again. 4 years ago the company replaced my entire roof and I gave them an "A" rating as they were fast and reasonably priced. Due to the amount of weak decking the company was finding I requested that they replace all the decking and charge me more for it over the initial bid. They replaced a lot of decking under the initial bid, but not all. I am selling this home and the buyers inspection failed the roof as there were spots on the high attic were the decking was coming apart, and there was leaks in the storage area. I contacted the company/owner to request his help in addressing the issues so I would not loose the sale of the house. Chris and his team were on time and completed the work in one day. It has rained for a couple of days and no leaks in the storage area and upper attic remains dry. Please see photos. When I asked to "settle up" on any charges, the company refused any payment for the extensive rework. Yes, this company stood behind their work and the owner demonstrated his concern that I the customer was happy. I am. (initial cost to replace the roof 4+ years ago was ~$10,000).

Chris and his team were excellent. They gave a very reasonable estimate, dealt with the historic district, and did the work quickly and efficiently and kept everything clean. We ended up having to use real slate at the request of the historic district. They handled the installation like pros and didn't charge any extra for the additional work involved with real slate. The only problem is that they are so busy they can be booked many weeks out.

Chris and his team did a prompt and thorough job on our house last September. The roof is on three different levels, as the house is tiered back. So, we effectively had three new roofs installed. Chris sent pictures daily updating us on the work, and he finished on time and on budget (this was a first in our house, as every job always discovers something wrong we didn't know about). Almost a year after the job was completed, we noticed a small leak at one corner of our fourth floor roof. I called Chris, and he promptly dispatched a team out to look at the roof and fix the issue. There was no question of warranty coverage or payment. He stood behind his work without problem. I saw that there was a negative review from someone else recently, and I cannot speak to what happened there. However, I can report that the problems there did not occur on our roof, and I have recommended Complete Roofing Solutions to my friends based on our good experience.

If you are looking for a roofer, please know that Complete Roofing Solutions did a very poor job installing a new roof on our building in July, 2016. First, he did not secure the tarp properly on the first day on the job. It rained that evening which resulted in several thousands of dollars in damage to one of our condos. The owner, Chris Onoffrey, talks a good talk but in retrospect he is more of a businessman. It is now clear that he is not a technical person. In fact, none of our condo owners have ever seen him on the roof. Every time we report a leak (and that is often) his tech goes up to the roof. We continued to have problems and he continued to say our roof was perfect. We made a decision to secure the services of an independent roof inspector which revealed we have several installation problems and there are critical areas that are not to DC Building Codes. For example, our roof has a zero pitch which is against code. As a result, we have significant ponding that only months after installation demonstrated roof sagging and accumulation of algae. There are areas of the edge of our roof that are not even attached to the building which has the potential to leak when there is wind-swept rain. There are so many problems with our roof that two roofers have told us the only way to fix them is to fully replace the roof. We are just waiting for the next disaster given the current poor condition of our roof, which is just two years old. The contractor continues to say all is fine despite our inspection report. He denies there is a zero pitch but has not said what his measurements are. He responds to leaks with skepticism (if you don’t have a photo of the ceiling while it is still wet, he will say there is no leak) and is not proactive in fixing the systemic problems. He is also extremely condescending and rude. We would not recommend his services at all! We have now filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Crews showed up early, re-shingled the whole house, cleaned up thoroughly, and were gone by 5 p.m.

Complete Roofing Solutions was great, and I would use them again. I needed to get my roof replaced and collected a few quotes and chose Complete Roofing Solutions. It was a very busy time and it took a few weeks to get everything scheduled, but most of the scheduling complexity had to do with the solar panel company needing to first schedule their panel removal. It took awhile to get that scheduled (nothing to do with CRS) and there was uncertainty in exact dates due to spring rain, but once the panels were down CRS replaced the whole roof the very next day. I was pleased by that. The roof looks great. I appreciated all their logistical work in addition to the actual re-roofing.

I needed to replace the roof on my home and did due diligence and gathered about 4 estimates from highly rated companies in the DMV area. Complete Roofing Solutions was the least expensive and the customer service experience was the best. We agreed to move forward with the project on 5/11 with the understanding that they had about a 2-week backlog. By Monday night, 5/14, we were experiencing pretty severe leaks through duct work and vents below where sections of the existing roofing material had been degraded or fallen off. I called Complete Roofing Solutions that same night and asked if there was anything they could do to temporarily cover the problem area until they could do the full new roof installation. Chris Onoffrey, their project coordinator, instead cleared their installation schedule for 5/15 and told me they would be out Tuesday morning and I'd have a new roof by the start of predicted showers Tuesday evening. He was true to his word. By Tuesday evening I had a brand new roof: shingles, underlayment, ice shield, flashing, ridge vent, and sheathing sections of sheathing. Complete Roofing Solutions is the definition of clutch. The piece of mind is priceless. My family is very grateful to have found this company when we did and they have customers for life. I can't recommend them enough!

I was amazed with the responsiveness and professionalism of the crew. We live in a Victorian-style row house in downtown DC and a few days before leaving on an extended business travel out of the country, we found ourselves with a large number of leaks from around our turret into the master bedroom. Not only did Complete Roofing prioritize us for a quote, they were TREMENDOUSLY better priced than the other quote we received. I believe Complete Roofing did a better job of identifying the issues and pricing what it would take to fix the issues, whereas the other company decided to replace the entire roof, despite it being new. Further, Complete Roofing provided us a PDF with a description of the issues and photos to accompany it. Then, after the repair, the provided us new pictures showing the work that was done. When they found out how bad the leaks were, and that we were leaving within days, Chris and his team moved their schedule around to get us to the front of the line. Their compassion and sense of urgency gave us a huge sense of peace going into our travel. We came home to a dry home, and the repairs weathered the Bomb Cyclone and following Nor'easter with ease. Complete Roofing won our support for any other roof work we need done!

Two workers were professional and experienced. They took their time to do a good job and showed me the work being performed as it progressed. They went the extra mile to caulk and paint areas that were damaged prior to the repairs.

Chris is the guy that runs the office. They're pretty good. I had some issues with them, but they're okay. The reasons it's some vagueness about it I had them come back to do something that wasn't right and he did it, more or less. They're pretty good, I'd recommend them. They do work and it's hard to get good slate work done anymore, they do, they work with just about everything. They replaced some slates, and those things that you put up there that prevent the snow and ice from falling down, I forget what they call it. It's the little metal things that they put in between the shingles to hold the snow up there. He's a good guy to work with and he's very reasonable. They're not cheap. They do slate work which is very important and finding somebody that does that is difficult. Frankly, I don't remember how I found him. He came back to fix something without any resistance. I thought they were responsible, and I was very pleased with that.

Great! I highly recommend this company. They are very, very honest and provide high quality work. They could have told me I needed major, costly repairs and I probably would have believed them. But they said I only needed one slate repaired, they had it on their truck, and then they replaced it. They followed up with sending me photos of the work that was done. Remarkable company.

Everything with the repair went smoothly. The individuals who were on the job completing the repair were nice and efficient. They did a wonderful job cleaning up the yard when finished. The person in the office I communicated with via email responded quickly to questions. I would hire them again.

Went well. Crew of three arrived punctually, replaced two slates on my steep roof and were on their way after 15-20 minutes.

Very difficult to set up an appointment - took weeks of phone tag. Then I was finally able to make contact, they said they could not do the work because my roof was too high. I had to call Angie's List, which took another hour, to ask for credit. I am not even sure the credit went through.

It went fantastic! No one else would even schedule an appointment to look at it since it was a small job. This company came out same day and installed a temporary tarp, coming back shortly after to do the repair. Very reasonable price as well.

well. They were patient to schedule between weather and our other contractors. They never wavered on their economical price and the work was done within the outer limits of their promised delivery dates. Most important was the personal attention gave to making sure the job went well. He dropped off sample shingles to best match color and showed up a little over 1/2 way through to ensure that it was going well.

I contacted them multiple times. They asked me for the details of what needed to be done and my address. They then kept quiet for some time. After several days, I got in contact with them and that is when they told me I was outside of their service area.

It was fine. My experience was good. The good thing was I think they fixed a few spots. The bad thing was they missed a few things that had to be corrected later.

The work was done and they provided pic of the repair. The scheduling was little challenging as I have to make multiple calls to get on their calender besides that no complains...
