College Hunks Hauling Junk & College Hunks Moving

I am very pleased with the service I received from College Hunks Hauling Junk. They arrived exactly when they said they would, took care in removing the items from my home and were extremely polite. I would recommend this company to anyone as Justin and Ty are an amazing representative for them.

Reece and Brandon were fantastic. It was a very hot day and in less than 3 hours, they managed to wrap all our furniture, help tape boxes and load the truck. The also, took care of our belongings. We were so pleased with the service, we called them again 2 weeks late for some trash hauling. Also a great experience.

Damien and Tony were the two Hunks who did my job on both occasions, and how pleased I was to have these two gentlemen come over and do the moving. Furniture that I though was so heavy was easily and safely moved either into or from the pod. They both kept up a spirit of fun while doing all this hard work.

Needed to donate my 12 year old treadmill and a footlocker full of cookware, bedding, etc, but items were too heavy for me to transport, so I started googling places and found that Goodwill does not remove items from attics or basements. I then stumbled upon Donation Nation and they send College Hunks Hauling Junk (CHHJ) to your home where they remove items from any room and haul away to charity. If no charity can be found, then they will recycle. My CHHJ movers were Patrick and Nigel and they were on time, professional, and took care not to cause any damage to my home...they moved my heavy items like they were toys! Plus, the fee they charge is tax deductible. In addition, they earn money toward books so a good cause overall. I will definitely use them again.

Fast and efficient. Scheduling was easy and Max and Nigel were polite and courteous. Definitely a stress-free experience.

Nelson & Nigel hauled away my junk furniture, and I have only good things to say about them. Their service was polite, courteous, professional, and efficient. I received a phone call the day before and the day of the pickup to keep me in the loop about scheduling and to ask if I had any last-minute concerns/requests, and everything was hauled away as expected. So much more space in my living room now! Great job!

They were awesome! Max and Jerry showed up on time, explained the process and had everything out very quickly. Would absolutely use them again in the future, especially because they take everything (non-hazardous) and then donate usable items to charity.

It didn't. I called wanting a move from Northern Virginia to Rockville, MD. Apparently they can only move within state - the half hour drive needed for this move was apparently not permitted under their franchise. The woman said she could refer "partners" to me that could offer services. I said no thank you. It appears that, despite my request that I not be contacted by their "partners", they have sold my phone number to moving companies from Maryland to Illinois and I have had an endless stream of calls - probably 15 so far and still counting. Be wary of this company that does not honor requests and sells your information to others.

The guys showed up on time after several calls to confirm that I would be ready. They did the job fast and were friendly and professional the entire time. Was a pleasure working with them and I'd recommend them to anyone else in need of these services.

They were absolutely wonderful, so efficient, skilled, and quick. I was impressed with how careful they were; there is a sharp corner that furniture needed to be moved around and they were just terrific.

We have used this service several times over the last few years, after they were recommended to us by a friend. This time Max and Josh K. came by to haul out a load of furniture and other stuff. They were worked fast and were very polite. We were very happy with the service, and I like that they will drop off the usable furniture to a donation center.

It went really well from scheduling the appoint to the when the job was done. I scheduled online through the web site and it was really easy. I immediately got a confirmation email and the next day phone call from the main office. On the day of the job Nelson and Nigel contacted me with their time of arrival. Both showed up 20 minutes early which was great. Nelson and Nigel wanted me to show them the scope of the job and take them through the house to show the items I wanted taken away. they gave me a price which was really great and they both proceeded to get to work and in an hour everything was gone. Nelson and Nigel did a awesome job and both are very professional. I would highly recommend them and the College Hunks organization to anyone.

It didn't, College Hunks would only service my new suburban address, they did not provide service to my old Baltimore City address, was I 'red-lined'? This company was on the list provided by Angie's List. Their company description should clearly highlight that they don't service anyone who has or will want items picked up from or delivered to Baltimore City, a complete waste of time.

Max, Edward, and Danny M. were amazing! They kept me updated as to their ETA, and arrived in the window of time I booked. They were so polite, friendly and efficient, and loaded all my items in NO time. They were careful not to damage my other possessions, and it was just an incredible experience!

Great, as always! (repeat user, very satisfied) Abraham and Devin were on time, efficient, very polite and willing to go the extra mile.

Abraham and Ralph arrived within the window that was given to me but I didn't have to sit and wait many hours for them to come. They were professional and efficient and even advised me on things I should keep rather than trash. Both guys were very personable and had excellent "people skills"! They were fair in estimating the cost of disposing materials that cost extra for them to haul. In addition, they provided me with information about the Goodwill donations. I have used this company before and the two young men also were great but not as great as Abraham and Ralph! I give both guys an A++ for their work today!

Called to make an appointment on Monday afternoon and they scheduled a Tuesday service somewhere between 8 and 10 AM. Tuesday morning I received a call at 7:45 AM advising they were 30 minutes away from my house. They arrived on time and had all item on the truck in 15 minutes. Great service. Kudos to Matt T and Ty.

Joe B. & Ty arrived on time and were very professional and personable. Both worked with me on best options for disposal of my old gas grill. I did not have to move anything. They did whatever necessary to safely remove a large, awkward grill.

We give Abraham and Devin and College Hunks 5+ stars. We could not be more happy with the service we received. This was the first time we used College Hunks and we will definitely call them again in the future. Abraham and Devin called to let us know they were on their way, arrived on time, explained the process and gave us a fair quote, they removed our couch and chair and then put everything that was moved to get it out back . We were so happy that our furniture would be donated and not add to a landfill. They are donating our couch, but when we called to arrange the pickup they said they would recycle it if they could not donate it, thank you college hunks for going green! When we call College Hunks again we will definitely request Abraham and Devin, two very hard working students and our nomination for College Hunks of the semester.
