College Hunks Hauling Junk & College Hunks Moving

Best hauling service around. I've been using their service for years and have never had a bad experience. The guys are always very polite, very careful, and very professional. We used them twice last week - once at my daughter's place and once at mine. Joseph and Abraham helped us out on the 28th and Kenny and Matt R. helped out my daughter on the 30th. All four were terrific.

It went great. Just like their ad says, the move was stress-free. The details: Matt and Aj arrived right on schedule with a good sized truck. They were professionally attired and both introduced themselves with a smile and a handshake. We walked around the house and they reviewed all of the materials i was having sent to junk or transferred to a charity. After the walk through, Matt presented all the pertinent info about the business and their pricing policy. The price was fair, so we shook on the deal. Then they went to work. They were speedy, careful with all the walls, had my best interests in mind (e.g., they made sure to pack the truck well as their pricing is dependent on the room within the truck that all the stuff takes up) and kept me informed on their progress. The job was done within 3 hours (which was very quick as I had a truck load full of stuff). All in all, a very great experience. I will certainly call on this company again if I ever need to have stuff moved or sent to the dump..

A few weeks ago I had a team from CHHJ come out and get rid of stuff at my old apartment. They were so efficient, I called them again. This time Joe B and Matt R came out to get rid of a closet system and a bookcase that I had already broken down. They arrived at the early end of the time frame provided (2pm to 4pm). They were polite and efficient. They moved out what was needed quickly and at a reasonable cost. Again - completely satisfied with the service! Would hire them again and recommend CHHJ services to friends.

Kenny and Matt R. we're terrific. They arrived about half an hour early for the 8a-10a time window and called to let me know they'd be at my house at 8a. Since I saw them parked down the street, I asked them to come by earlier and they were happy to oblige. They were quick and efficient in loading a couch, ottoman, and bookcase into the truck, for donation. They were careful to move things out of the way, if there was a risk of damage to them. The cost of the service wasn't cheap, but reasonable given the incredible convenience! I'd would happily work with CHHJ again, especially if Kenny and Matt R were involved.

Abraham and Stephon picked up my items for donation/disposal. They arrived exactly on time, were friendly, professional and efficient. I would definitely hire College Hunks again and would happily recommend them to friends and family.

Excellent experience from the time we called to make the appointment to the finish of the job. Very polite, courteous and professional employees. The 2 "hunks" called before arriving, showed up early after asking if that was OK and did the job in a very timely manner. They took great care in not damaging not only the furniture they were moving but the house and floors. The price was very fair as we had tried calling some larger moving companies who had a minimum of 3 hrs and cost more per hour. This was perfect for what we needed done.

Omar and James removed a piano from the house. They were punctual and they were courteous. They were very careful in the way they moved the piano through the house. I will definitely contact HUNKS for any future hauling or furniture moving needs.

It was great. They called me before arriving and arrived on time. Gave me an estimate up front and hauled everything I had. Gave me a goodwill receipt as well.

I scheduled my visit online for my desired service date (on a Sunday!), and I was contacted that morning by Brennan and Abraham to confirm my service time. They were punctual, evaluated the volume of material I needed to have hauled away and gave me an immediate estimate. After I agreed to the estimated price they removed the debris and loaded it into the truck. Everything proceeded smoothly, in an extremely efficient and professional manner. I was so relieved to have all of piled up debris out of my yard. So happy! Will definitely consider them for any future moving or bulk trash removal I need in the future. Brennan and Abraham are extremely polite and a pleasure to have around!

Tim the Manager or owner wouldn't honor my claim after items were missing from the move, my new La-z-boy was broken, and things dented by their movers. The simply do not care about their clients. Will never recommend or use again.

Ben and James B. were great. Ben called about a half hour ahead of their arrival, and they showed up right on time. Apparently, my job was relatively small compared to most, so when it came time to discuss the price, Ben confirmed I'd booked online and offered a small discount. I was willing to pay just to have the waste removed, but was thankful for the gesture. The guys worked quickly and diligently, and were generally a pleasure to interact with. Would definitely consider using the Hunks again.

They showed up on time. They did what they said they were going to do and left. They did a good job.

Booking the job was very easy, I was able to do it all online. They have a very easy to use website and coupons are widely available online as well. I was able to get an appt that week. They called 30 minutes out to let me know they were on their way and arrived right on time. The guys that showed up were very friendly and professional. They gave me the cost up front and hauled away a giant, old television and a fridge in less than 15 minutes and gave me a receipt for the donation. I should have called them months ago!

Shane and Adrian just left after taking away my unwanted stuff. They were wonderful - friendly, efficient and quick! It was so easy and not as expensive as I feared. Highly recommended.

Brennan and Win called in the morning to see if they could come early as they were ahead of schedule. I was ready so glad they could get the table out.

They were absolutely amazing. When we called for service they called right back, scheduled for the next day. The dispatcher called to confirm and they called about an hour before they said they would be at the house and asked if they could come early. The 2 guys who came were professional, clean cut, friendly and obviously knew what they were doing. They moved 3 huge pieces of furniture, including 2 in a basement that was not a walk out so they had to bring it up the stairs and were in and out in less than 40 minutes. There is nothing but praise I have for these guys. Would use again without question and recommend.

Darien and Abraham were the men that came to remove my "junk" and they did an excellent job.

Great experience overall. I called these guys to move an armoire (330 lbs, 8 feet tall 5 feet wide) up a staircase with a 90 degree turn (an in-house move), and to remove the 100 lb wooden crate it arrived in. Darien and Brennan arrived right on time, if not a bit early. The task was very very difficult, but these guys did not give up. They stayed cool and collected, and developed a plan for moving the furniture. They were able to call for more people, but still kept working while waiting and were able to finish the job before others arrived. In the end, the job took longer than expected... but we were thrilled that they were able to complete such a move. They were more than reasonable with the price, and did not charge for time they just spent planning or initially waiting for more people to arrive. I wouldn't hesitate to hire this company again, as they have great employees like Darien and Brennan.

Fabulous experience! Abraham & Darien were prompt, polite, careful, and friendly. I arranged the service because I needed to get rid of the futon in the basement, wanted to donate it, and Goodwill has an arrangement with this company. I couldn't have asked for better service. The futon presented some difficulties getting it out of the basement, and Abraham & Darien were careful & took their time. (Unlike another service I had used some time ago - preAngie's List time - who came to get a donated refrigerator and ended up shoving it thru a door that was just a bit small -- ruined the frame.) They even helped me unpack, assemble and move into place a large piece of furniture when they were here - I hadn't mentioned it when I scheduled the service, but I figured since I had them right there, I'd ask, and they were happy to add it to the list. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for help [re]moving stuff.

Brian and Brennan did a good job. They rearranged heavy furniture from upstairs to downstairs. They listened when I told them how things would need to be angled, taken apart, etc. They were well trained - never go up the stairs or down the stairs with nothing in your hands and were done far sooner than I expected. I would ask for Brian and Bren and use them again.
