We started to have problems with our hot water temperatures in the house. The hot water had gotten really, really hot! After having such a good experience with Coleman's plumbing in the past, I called Mark immediately. Because of the perceived seriousness of the problem he scheduled us same day. I sent him a picture of the water heater and he was able to get a good replacement quickly. (he actually gave me two options and some info on quality and price for each to make my own decision) Once he actually got out I was incredibly relieved that he scheduled us so quickly. The main problem was that water had leaked from the heater into the control electronics and fried them causing the heat regulation to peg at "as hot as possible." Water was also leaking out of the bottom of the heater (slowly) so far. but the drain valve had failed and we were likely only a few days away from a complete disaster. When he got out to do the heater replacement he was fast and efficient. I have some experience in soldering copper pipes and its obvious that Mark is quite skilled at his job. Water heater was in in less than 1.5h. Would have likely been less than an hour if water drainage valve had not failed since the remaining water made it quite difficult to remove the old heater. You will notice that some other plumbers would take half a day to show up and another half a day to do the replacement. They justify their prices as being low on an hourly basis. I see this as a complete waste of my time. Mark charges a fair rate for THE JOB then gets it done quickly and doesn't waste your time. Being able to get to work by 10:30am after he scheduled me for 8:30 is a huge difference to me since I didn't have to waste a day off work waiting for a plumber. Again I would recommend Mark above any other plumber in the area and will continue to use him as my go-to plumbing service provider.

Mark did a fabulous job and was a delight to deal with. He responded promptly to our email asking for a cost estimate. The heater was expensive, but most of that is due to the price of the heater itself. Mark's work was quick, professional, and clean. He took care of the paperwork for the inspector and did the necessary follow-up to make sure the new heater passed inspection. I would highly recommend him.

Turned out it had been leaking for quite some time and the bolts that held it in place had corroded.He had to remove the whole thing, replaces the ruined ring that held it in place, rebolt it and put a new silicone seal on it. Needless to say there were several trips to the truck to get the right tools and make the fix. I have used Mark before and have always been pleased with Mark's work, this time was no exception. When I told him a toilet he installed a few years before had a leaky gasket, he offered immediately to come back later in the week with new gaskets at no charge and even offered to change out the gasket in another bathroom where it was old and not working well. I would highly recommend Mark, and will certainly continue to use him in my house.

Everything went very well. He was very personable and professional, he explained each repair thoroughly, he did exactly what was needed and nothing more. He was exactly what you hope to get when you have a contractor or repair person come to your home. I highly recommend him and would definitely use him again.

This is the second time I have used Mark and I will definitely use him again in the future. I have several projects at my home that needed to be tackled. Like before, I emailed Mark with pictures and he provided me quotes. I choice to tackle the most pressing - replace the leaking faucet. When selecting the faucet, Mark provided me with a website and found a few similar to what I already had. I ended up selecting a different one. Mark was able to get the bathroom faucet and we scheduled the work for the following week with the time frame 9:30 am to 11:00 am. I decided closer to the date to rebuild the faucet and he was able to also accomdate this work during the time frame he provided. He texted me when he was about 10 minutes out and arrived at 9:40 am. He put covers on his shoes at the entrance (such an awesome thing to think of that I have never had another contractor do). He completed the work in about an hour. The faucet had a broken cartridge but Mark called his supplier and went out to get a new one. He arrived back about an hour later and the sink was done. He also had a moment to look into my future project a bit more and provide a quote to get my garbage disposal replaced and repair the pipe to it. Mark is professional and courteous - I highly recommend him for plumbing work.

Had Mark from Coleman's plumbing come out last Friday to fix a problem with my shower diverter. The cartridge basically stuck the shower closed and I could not get it to turn on or off. Mark showed up on time, which was a first for me with plumbers. He was very fast and efficient. I watched him work out of curiosity, and even though I am not a plumbing expert, he was obviously very skilled. When Mark was done he got everything cleaned up quickly and didn't leave a mess, again showing how professional he is. I also found him to be very courteous and we talked for a few minutes after the job was done about some other things I was concerned about in the house. The reason I am writing this review is that every day now, when I turn on my shower, I can actually still witness how good a job he did. I have two showers with exactly the same diverter and this one turns effortlessly, while the other one that he did not work on, is still very stiff. (but not frozen shut yet) The difference is so surprising that after a few days of seeing how much better a job he did than the installer, I felt that I had to come on here and write him up a review. Thanks Mark! If anything ever goes wrong you will be the first person I call.

Mark was prompt, efficient, clean, and personable. I would highly recommend him. If I have another job I will be sure to call him. I am sure he would come back if any issues but I'm thinking I won't need that on his work ;<)

Mark removed the older tiles by hand so as to preserve them for replacement. He changed the double pole shower/bath fixtures to single pole fixtures which are easier to work on. He reworked all the plumbing behind the walls in both houses and completely re-plumbed the shower and bath fixtures. We had tile men come in and replace the tiles and then Mark returned to seal everything and put on the fact plates. I chose more expensive fixtures than Mark initially recommended in order to preserve the the dated look of the bathroom. This design element was my own choice and did increase the overall price. I used a lesser expensive set in the rental house. Throughout, Mark Colman is the commensurate professional. He arrived on time, took the amount of time he predicted to do the work, offered to do additional work to accommodate my choices. When the tile men took longer to do the work than planned, Mark changed his schedule to work us in and get the rental unit up and running. He also ordered all the parts after I chose the design elements I wanted. Mark is thorough and has exacting standards which I wonderful. When he does a job, I know it will be done correctly. I take his advice seriously because he is honest and he goes to great pains not to "up sell" the customer on things one does not need. Integrity honesty, dedication to a job well done: I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Mark was very responsive when we contacted him to set up a time that worked for us to come out and install an inline water valve and connect to the refrigerator. As in the past, he arrived promptly. We were having an issue with the toilet in our master bath and asked if he would take a look at while he was there. He found that the toilet had not been properly installed and explained what needed to be done to correct the issues inside the tank. Mark was able to complete the inline water valve and fix our toilet on the same day. We are very pleased with the work he did and how conscientious he is. This is a trait that is becoming more and more rare these days and is much appreciated. We have used Mark on more than one occasion and have recommend him to others (including family members) and will do both in the future.

FANTASTIC! Mark was very response when I reached out on Angie's List. I described the problem via email. He asked me for some additional information and also asked me for pictures. We then set up a time. He arrived within the window he promised and was wearing booties so that he wouldn't damage the floor. I didn't ask him to do this; he just did it. That's not something that every contractor does. He got down to work immediately and repaired my toilet. Believe it or not, he told me that my toilet had a flushing mechanism I didn't even know it had. LOL. And he came prepared with the right--manufacturer recommended--parts to do the job. (Part of the reason for getting pictures in advance.) I will use Mark ANYTIME I have a plumbing issue. This was my FIRST experience with Angie's List and I am so exceedingly happy.
