After I reached out to Mark, he responded within minutes and scheduled a visit for the following week. The day of the service, he was delayed by the initial job going longer than anticipated, but he apologized/informed me of this by text well in advance, which I appreciated. He also assured me he would get out here that day and asked (instead of assumed) if it was ok that he arrived a little later than planned. Upon arrival, he was a workhorse with a plan. He tested all the toilets, and found that one's tank chain might be a bit too taut (thus leading to a tiny but continuous leak) and possibly the cause of the spike in the water bill. He then shut the main water valve so that he could check whether the outside water meter showed water usage; because it did not show usage, a problem with the main pipe to the house was pretty much ruled out. We knew we had a tub slightly dripping but that has been the case for a long time, and only our last water bill was through the roof, so I showed him that tub, but that slight dripping likely is/was not the culprit. He gave an estimate to have that dripping faucet replaced. Though I don't know if our issue is resolved (until I get WSSC to come back out and tell us if water usage has drastically declined), Mark was efficient, professional and knowledgeable, and explained what he was doing and why. We would certainly hire him again.

It went perfectly well from the beginning to the end. Mark sent me a quote quickly, and the work was done a few days later, at a reasonable price. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him to my friends.

Mark was terrific! I emailed and left a message on his phone at 10 pm after discovering a pin hole leak in our basement. He responded at 4 am that he would come over before 7 am to do the repair. He also did some other repairs that needed to be done and at a very reasonable price, including the Angie's List coupon. One couldn't ask for greater dependability, responsiveness and quality of work.

Granted, garbage disposal replacement is not exactly restoration of an aqueduct, nevertheless, Mark replaced the broken unit only after making certain the faulty unit was indeed beyond repair, and did so quickly, at the appointed time, and was a pleasure to do business with. What else do you want?

Mark was very responsive and professional. He gave free advice over email and made sure I actually needed him. Once we set an appointment, he showed up right on time, worked in less time than estimated, communicated well and price was very reasonable. Made a few suggestions on other potential issues. Will hire him again without reservation.

He was the least expensive, very punctual, worked efficiently - a nice guy who did good work for fair prices.

He arrived at the time he promised and did replacing our kitchen faucet excellently.

He explains what he will do, tell you prices up front and is readily available if there is need for follow up. Mark is a consummate, no nonsense, professional. This is my fourth experience with Coleman's plumbing. First he saved me from a water heater that was on the verge of exploding and flooding my downstairs neighbors. (Came next day and took care of it pronto despite problems getting it to drain.) Next he fixed on two separate occasions cartridges in my shower faucets that had caused them to freeze and not turn properly. He had told me that they frequently fail and was right since one actually did fail which he replaced under warranty. Since he was using his own parts (as he mentioned many times) he can warranty his parts, which is why he insists on this point. Recently I've been dumping loads of draino down a sink drain that clogs monthly. Mark was easy to contact (I prefer email and so does he) and he explained that the cheap drain that you get from Home Depot has a smaller diameter than is proper. He got me a larger diameter Kohler drain and put it in. Install was quick and it now drains much better. I can tell because the water never drained this well since I had the sink installed brand new.

Provider is very responsive via email. He responds almost immediately which is appreciative. He is honest about the hours he is available so do not contact him if you have an emergency. He is not usually available next day. He is also straightforward on his policy regarding parts. Hired him in July 2016 to replace toilet and install water line. Water line was quite affordable ($150) but there were issues once the fridge was installed (4-weeks later). The saddle valve leaked and had to be replaced with a proper shut off valve. Toilet installation was painless ($570) but looking back I wish I had more say on type of toilet and seat to be installed (I only specified height). The caulking around the base also has a yellow tint--which isn't terribly attractive. Since the work seemingly went well, I contacted him a week or so later to inquire about installing a new faucet for a utility sink and valves for the washer (which were all in same system). The utility sink was old as well so I initially inquired about replacing sink, faucet and updating valves. The price was higher than I anticipated so I asked if he would be willing to replace the valves and faucet and not work about sink. He stated he wouldn't do the work without also replacing the sink. I understand he has the policy on parts but requiring a sink to be replaced with faucet didn't make sense to me. I cannot imagine the same policy for a kitchen or bath sink. My attempts to negotiate were not well accepted and I could tell he seemed put off. Since I was not pleased with the sink requirement (price was secondary), I chose to go with another provider (who exceeded my expectations and ended up separating the plumbing and putting in new lines for the washer in the wall). Nevertheless, I contacted Mark via email a few months later when our hot water heater died and he responded: "Considering you were not pleased with my pricing in our previous exchanges I am not sure I could please you this time either. More importantly, there is no way I could make it happen tomorrow." I suppose one might interpret this as courteous but it was ill received and IMO unprofessional. I rely on AL reviews to pick providers and I am still not quite able to figure out how I could have a very different experience than others. I did not experience friendly service but rather rigidity and coldness.

After sending pictures of the inside of the toilet Mark recommended rebuilding it. Considering the age of the toilet that seemed fair. After fixing the toilet he checked the garbage disposal and stated it could last another 1 - 5 years and did not need replacement. We then discussed the water heater and when he looked at it he identified a roof leak that I did not know had been happening.

Quality of work excellent. I forgot the fact, that he will only install what he purchases himself. If its supplied by the client, he will not install it. He is a little bit snippy, about people with big house, i.e., have a lot of money. The actual work he does when he supplies the product, is excellent. He made me feel like a time waste. Even though it was a total bath fit, he said it was a hassle to do, than it was, and I got this long lecture from him. He is a young guy. He was great doing it. On the job he did, when I behaved myself, I can't fault the guy, it was just off his script a bit. I would if I remember that he will only install parts that he provides himself. That includes sinks, includes everything, not just the widgets. If you bought the sink, you better not. Everything has to be bought through him.

Mark is very professional and straight-forward. Came to do the job on time and not to mention, on a 20 degree weather. I thought he might reschedule because it was too cold which I could understand but he went ahead regardless and replaced my sump pump. He is very honest and would not waste your time. Will definitely hire again for future plumbing issues.

He came on time, installed the unit very quickly, cleaned up everything, and hauled the old heater away. Explained to me the nuances of the new unit. Everything went smoothly and I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again.

Painless! Because the water heater was at our tenants location there were some logistics involved but Mark told us what info he needed. We took the pics and he was able to order a replacement and get it installed. Love the use of technology for something that could have gotten complicated... It really was painless and crazy efficient. I love that about Mark! Yes he is a one man show but is is **** good and **** efficient. I appreciate that!.

Excellent. This was the first time we used Coleman's Plumbing, thanks to the great reviews on Angie's List, and we were quite impressed with Mark, who was very personable. We asked that he replace the entire flushing mechanism, which he did promptly. His detailed explanation of Toto's flushing mechanism was especially helpful. Not only shall we use him again, but I am recommending him highly to friends and neighbors.

We emailed Mark, he responded quickly, and arrived the next day, right on schedule. He ascertained what the problems were, and which equipment needed replacing. The work was all done on the spot. We are extremely pleased with his work, as we have been in the past.

Have used Coleman's Plumbing on various jobs (at our home and at rental properties) over the years, from valve and spigot replacement to water heater replacement, so when I needed a new gas water heater for our home, I contacted Mark along with two other companies (one small company and one medium sized one) for estimates. Mark's estimate was within the price-range I was hoping to pay (gas heater install prices have increased significantly recently, with new EPA guidelines and county inspections), unlike both of the other estimates, which were more than a few hundred dollars more. Scheduled install about a week in advance. As usual, Mark showed up right on time and got cracking. Since the 75-gallon heater was significantly larger the previous model, it took a little maneuvering of elements to make it fit safely, with requisite clearances. The venting from the previous unit was actually making contact with a 2x4 (in a spot close enough to heater that the vent was warm). To save us some money, Mark suggested we could cut it back ourselves with a sawsall to gain the necessary 1" clearance. Install took about 3.5-4.0 hours, and that included a trip to the plumbing supply shop for some unforeseen, but necessary parts. Looked great when finished, and worked like a charm. Mark contacted the county inspector to set up the inspection, and went over any potential snafus that might arise during the inspection (since he would not be present for that).

The faucet was installed as scheduled within a reasonable time frame. The faucet works great.
